Sadly no such thing my kids grandma has became a nightmare she has called cps on me 272 times in 11 years and took me to court for my kids that she's never even met now that I've moved and she no longer has my address it's been silent. She can't make a cps call if she has no clue were I live. All so she can get my kids ssi checks it's ridcolous when that money barley covers my childerns needs for special things they need like adult pull ups and such, learning material saftey devices it's just ridcolous. No mind you I have in house care which is a home nurse and mandated reported if she felt I was doing anything wrong she be the one to turn me in not someone who's never met my kids. I swear she's got a calendar with the dates she has called cps as soon as my case is none founded boom new case the cps worker stopped bothering and would just call me we got another hot line 😒

This is exactly why I have a restraining order against my own Mother. It hurts my heart, but my children come first. This story resonated with me all too well. I had to cut those ties before it got to this point. I truly hope this family thrives and realizes that not everyone is FOR you. This includes blood. Much love and healing.

In-laws (particularly the mothers) can be some of the most miserable of people. I’ve had to get away from one myself with hubby & kids for good. If they can’t respect their child’s immediate family, it’s time to cut them off. Miserable mother in-laws have nothing to lose once their child moves out & will try to fight you or destroy your relationship if not both out of jealousy.

Hearing the child’s mom say she’s given her multiple chances & every time she does allow him over, grandma calls cps etc.. If “when someone shows you who they are, believe them” was a person… But seriously this woman has shown her true colors and feelings toward them, especially to her… MANY times. My heart breaks for their son, because he really does love his grandmother and he doesn’t fully/truly understand the severity of the situation & what a bad person she is. The thing I've noticed about liers, is that they are always talking. Constantly saying and (somewhat) repeating everything that seems relevant to whatever they are trying to prove is truthful. I can not tell you how many times I've seen this type of behavior in real time and made me question the people I've been surrounded my whole life.

As far as the question the kid supposedly asked the grandma about God, I remember asking my mother almost the same thing when I was about five. It's possible for some kids to know more about life than other and be able to voice their feelings.

I bet this all started when the lil boy stayed with her while his mom was locked up & g-maw got a little too attached. She literally then created fake scenarios in her head, then tried to be the hero like she's saving the lil boy from a situation that's not even actually happening, and all of this is just so, she still feels needed. She desperately needs a psych consult & treatment before she permanently damages her grandson. Also, if she sees the little boy, it really needs to be supervised visits only. We will need an update on this one...

My grandmother (father’s side) called cps on my mom when my brother and I were babies, claiming we weren’t being fed and malnourished but when cps came they were saw it was unfounded and a waste of their time. It was all because she wanted custody of us for her own selfish reasons. It hurt my mom a lot. They had huge tension and that was the last straw for my mom.
