Wolves aren't meant to be standing tall like humans and humans aren't meant to be looking like wolves. Smash the two together into one being and it sets off a primordial monkey brain survival adaptation of im in danger.

Frank Grillo against werewolves sounds like a good time too me! This movie reminds me of a book I read like 8 years ago about a bunch of small asteroids landing on earth all over the world. Well they weren't asteroids they were werewolves attacking earth from the moon. The book was actually kind of terrifying. It seems like like it would be corny but it was not. I wonder if that is what this movie is based on?
Thanks Chris, I occasionally get a hankering for good cheese. The restaurant scene you described, I prefer the family changing, just the family and maybe the person cleaning the dishes, get some kitchen action going.

Chris, have you reviewed the 1987 TV series ‘Werewolf’ starring John J York? It has been one of my favourites as I watched the reruns of that show in the 90’s as a kid. It used to give me sleepless nights. I think it has really aged well. I recently found it on YT and watched all the episodes. It had only 29 episodes but I really liked it. I think it’s still one of the best werewolf series. Maybe you can review it or already have that I don’t know about. I love werewolf movies and series. I want to watch this movie.
I'd definitely love to see the version of Werewolves in which we see it happening from the beginning. 1 billion humans, an eighth of the world's population turning into werewolves, unexpectedly? It would be impossibly chaotic. The body count would be massive. This version is most likely going to tell not show what happened during the first year.
Seeing the prequel is a great idea. The reviews I’ve seen are all full of positivity. So if somehow it maxes out the box office, that’ll create a budget for a worthy prequel… maybe the plan all along 🤔
I thought it was a short, fun, 80’s 90’s throwback B-movie with some charming practical effects. It for sure leaned into itself and I appreciated that. The person who played Lucy’s acting was so bad but also fit perfectly with this movie. Check your brain at the door and enjoy
I enjoyed this in the theater. There was only one showing per day for this where I am and this was at huge AMC spot in LA. THAT should be what goes straight to streaming, so you can rewind to your heart's content and turn on subtitles because no one knows how to properly mix audio anymore. But I digress. This movie will be getting my money, if only because I want it to do well enough to earn that chaotic banger of a prequel.

Just wanted to say I never thought I would click on a grown man, a father, a director, a functioning human wearing a Cars Tshirt and genuinely listen to what he has to say. Just finding out about me, everyday.
Thanks for clarifying what this actually is. Lot of reviews bombing it. I for one, love this kind of stuff. Ticks, 8-Legged Freaks, Critters, Ghoulies, etc.
Love me a “good” B movie horror, sure I watch big studio efforts too, but one of the reasons I keep my Amazon Prime subscription is to trawl its depths for those really cheap movies where often there will be a new twist on a worn out trope and due to being really creative with limited budgets they end up being interesting and watchable despite bad special effects, or bad acting or plot holes or whatever, there is usually a redeeming quality that keeps me watching. It almost seems like a seasonal and festive activity now at this time of year with the dark nights. I’ll definitely be watching this.
Good movie, I was entertained. The werewolves reminded me of the xenomorphs the way they hung their heads down, looking for people while drooling saliva runs their mouths. For the budget they had they made the most of what they had and put it to use. Frank Grillo was AWESOME!!!!
This is why I love your reviews 💪😎🍿 not every movie has to be a perfect masterpiece, sometimes a movie is just for simple joyful entertainment. 🤜🤛 I am excited to see this movie.
I love how even the CGI looks ok, pretty good even, may it do well enough in the box office to get that sequel greenlit so they'll get better, in effects, action, even scale, & especially the characters to get just enough extra attention to wanna care for them more.

I'm pleased to see the return of the Werewolf as I'm bored with Zombie's, possession movie's and Vampire's. Speaking of Werewolves, I'd welcome a Silver Bullet series as for creature design the Werewolf in The Cabin in the Woods movie looked awesome. Anyway i shall check Werewolves out.
This is EXACTLY what I thought while I was sitting IN THE THEATER! It's fun. Cheesy. Gorey. Action. Your goddamn tv ain't gonna sell it well enough.
I love the specific horror sub genre. Like you, I grew up on movies like this. ❤ My favorites were from Full Moon studios.
I actually hope they make a prequel to this with the idea you suggested. I'd pay to see that.
I saw this on Thursday and Loved it!!!!!❤❤❤
Just wanted to say I never thought I would click on a grown man, a father, a director, a functioning human wearing a Cars Tshirt and genuinely listen to what he has to say. Just finding out about me, everyday.
You should review the Underworld series!!! 🐺🧛♀️
Awesome and very honest review here, Chris. Watchlisted!
I unapologetically love “Bats.” And I, coincidentally enough, bought the DVD at Blockbuster in 2000.
An American werewolf in London is still the greatest werewolf film ever, and probably always will be.
When I saw the trailer awhile back my highest hopes went to exactly what you've described this as being.
This movies wasn't in theater in my city, wasn't being streamed, can't find it anywhere over a week later WFT?
When is Shelby Oaks coming out Chris
This is why I love your reviews 💪😎🍿 not every movie has to be a perfect masterpiece, sometimes a movie is just for simple joyful entertainment. 🤜🤛 I am excited to see this movie.
Thank you for this review, Chris. I love AMADEUS, AND PROJECT: METALBEAST, know what I mean?
I totally get your point and, yes I want those movies on the cinema.
This is the best B Movie in decades. Haven't laughed that much in a theater in a long time. And not at the movie, but with the movie.
I love how even the CGI looks ok, pretty good even, may it do well enough in the box office to get that sequel greenlit so they'll get better, in effects, action, even scale, & especially the characters to get just enough extra attention to wanna care for them more.
