I have made your #1 pick, #5 pick and am currently making your #7 pick. I have the yarn for 2 renunculus tops that I will make next. 😋 Have to sat, I think I'm going to have to add your #3 pick to my list! Thank you for beautiful suggestions!
Kaci...from the moment I found your podcast, I knew you have great taste and style, and therefore i really enjoyed your recommendations. Thank you. Don't underestimate the good you are doing...here I am on the west coast of Wales on a cool rainy Spring morning, really inspired by a young lady on the other side of the world! That's quite something!
What kind words!! Thank you so much!
Always beautiful and full of inspiration!!! I don’t really knit for summer things, mostly woolly things over here, but I am very tempted to knit some this year!
I have that skirt pattern too…another one that I need to make! 😍
What a fun episode! And thanks for the shoutout 🥰 I’m so inspired now to make some more summer knits! I’m thinking Camisole No. 5. I still think about the one you made ever since you first post it on insta ❤️ can’t wait to see Becky on the ep next week!
Thank you! I love your camisole you finished! Perfect color and length!
Wonderful recommendations and tips! Thank you!
I just found your podcast and am loving it!! Another pattern that's similar to the Leaf Top might be the Olive Top by Knitting for Olive! It goes up to a size 4xl so is more size inclusive :) thanks for great pattern and yarn suggestions!
I appreciate the yarn information. It's sometimes difficult to substitute when you don't know the yarns, so it's always great to get recommendations from someone who has experience with them. Thank you!
I know this video is a year old, but you’ve listed ALL the patterns I was looking to knit for this spring and summer season lol
I would wear all of those knits! And I like the embroidery kit idea.
Thank you! I love embroidery when it’s hot out.
Thank you so much for a boost of inspiration! Maybe if I just start knitting summertops the snow will finally melt and spring come a little faster...
Then you’ll be all ready when Warner weather arrives!
Wonderful video! Absolutely love all your recommendations from patterns to materials! The camisole no. 5 and thea top are my favorites and I have added to my queue ☺️ I also love that embroidery kit rec! I've always wanted to give embroidery a try and that looks like such a fun way to dip my toes into it! Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Saved all of your recommendations!
So many of these suggestions were already in my queue! I love summer knits!!!
Summer knits are very fun!
Very informative thank you!
Your videos are the nicest in all yarntube
Now I want to make all the summer knits! Thanks for the inspiration. 😍☀️
They would all look beautiful on you!!!
This was great 😊 You have introduced me to so many new patterns thank you Kaci 🤩
I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
This is my favorite podcast! Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge! I want to knit all of these!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’d love to hear what you make!
I have always loved that Ankers summer shirt but I know I don't like t o have things fitted so I have never cast it on. I look forward to seeing it on you!!!
I always like some positive ease in my tops!
I love the idea of taking the urea minor and converting it into a summer knit by altering the fiber and gauge choice! I think its perfect for working with patterns we already have and love!
Thanks Emily! It’s one of my most worn!
Thank you Kaci, great pattern and yarn recommendations! You do such beautiful work.
Thank you so very much!
Kaci - my kids and I love the typewriter in the intro of your videos. Could you share a link where you found it? We’d be so grateful. 💛
I’m so sorry but this this actually was my grandmothers old typewriter. She gave it to me :)
@@YoungfolkKnits Aw, I love that! So sweet! 💛Thanks anyway!
The typewriter looks like it could be a Smith Corona Galaxie from the 1960s.
Love that you talk about the yarns you use. Awesome, thank you.
I’m planning a summer knit ranunculus 😀
That sounds lovely! It’s a great pattern
Thanks for all the inspiration! I’m don’t gravitate to tanks and summery tops but maybe I should try one? You showed us some really nice options. Enjoy spring….
You might start with a tee!
I'm currently working on the Anker blouse! I wanted to try the Sandes Garn and ordered some but didn't do anything with it since I didn't have enough for any of my current patterns. A couple weeks ago I finished my first sweater and decided to cast on something for summer and had this pattern on Ravelry forever ago and had forgotten all about it. When reading the pattern I realized that she also used the Sandes Garn. At that point I knew I had to cast on. It's been a fun knit so far (I'm almost finished the yoke) but I admit I'm not a huge fan of so much ribbing at once. I've had to keep putting it down to knit some garter stick on other projects and then come back to it. The yarn isn't as rough as cotton and has beautiful drape but I keep splitting it. Love all of these recs and will def keep this list in mind when thinking about my next project!
I hope you love it when it’s finished
Thank you for sharing so many beautiful pattern ideas. I’m going into winter but added quite a few of these to my queue, the socks were probably my favourite!
Thank you so much Anna. And the socks are some of my all time favorites
I really enjoyed this podcast for its subject - summer tops - and your pleasant speaking voice. It was a great accompaniment to my knitting. Thank you very much.
Awww thank you so much!
I've enjoyed watching your podcasts, Kaci! I especially love this episode as a precursor to the spring and summer months. All of your projects look wonderful and doable. I'm not sure which to start with. Thank you for the pattern suggestions, but also the yarn suggestions. Also - love that skirt! It goes with so many things and looks like a cute style. Thanks so much for your recommendations!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words
A great timely episode, I think you are lovely and delightful and talented! I haven't tried knitting with linen yarn yet, but no time like the present! I loved your skirt that you showed in the coppery pink fabric, did you make it? Is there a pattern? I didn't see it listed in your show notes, any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes it’s the estuary skirt by sew liberated! I will add it to the notes. Thank you for the reminder! I always forget something haha
What a fantastic, informative podcast! And I LOVE your filming location.
Thank you!
Great knits!!! You almost got the "Tynn Line" right - Tynn is fine (it actually also means fine, as in thin), Line is pronounced Leene :)
Thank you! I need someone to run over pronunciations with before each episode 🤣
@@YoungfolkKnits Hahaha - I think you’re doing a wonderful job, and enjoy every moment!
Great timing...I've been thinking about summer knits too! Great information you shared.
Thank you so much for watching
Hello from Mounds Illinois.
Hello!
What a great episode! I’ll take one of everything!
😘
Kaci, you have such an awesome, professionally done podcast! I love it 😻
Thank you so much!!!!
Beautiful picks!!
Thank you!
Lots of great ideas!!
Thank you!!
Great episode!
Thank you ❤️
I love some of these tanks. Thanks so much for your recommendations & also congrats to Raquel!
Thank you Ally. Do you have any summer making plans
@@YoungfolkKnits I don’t but only because I live in Australia and it’s coming into winter. I suppose our winter would be like an England summer 🤣 so I usually don’t need anything super warm. I’m a new knitter so still working out technique and stuff ☺️
Thea Top KAL?!
I like it! 💕
Loved this Kaci, thanks for the pattern ideas!
Thank you so much for watching!!!
Love this! Thank you.
buying My Favorite Things No. 5 today. 🥰
I need a pair of those socks ☺️ great episode 💖
😉 💗
You need a ring light for the front of your face. There is so much darkness and bad lighting and it’s hard to see anything.
