The camera panning over to Emily being so calm while Mr Steal Yo Girl is CHOMPING on her is absolutely sending me
After she got bit by the monitor, snake bites are probably tame by comparison
No time to tend the wound, THERE'S BABIES! 😂❤️
Ikr she was bleeding to
2:59 I forgot the little devil had teeth until I saw her bleeding! 😅
@@GudetamaSit Same
Emily being unfazed about being bit and running to check on the babies is so wholesome lol
To be fair, the vodka would’ve cleaned the wound, so she really had no reason to stop. 😂😂
I got rid of 666 your welcome
Cheap vodka can solve a lot of problems
I found them being entertained by the most aggressive snakes disturbing, honestly. Totally wrong mindset for people breeding animals that are intended to be kept long term as pets and pretty much the only thing about Snake Discovery that I don't think they (or virtually anyone else in the reptile business) are doing right.
@@jasonpatterson8091 peopel know what theyre signing up for asking for one of these snakes. if you regularly handle baby aggressive snakes you may be able to reduce their aggressiveness. do you think they should just not breed them? snakes are going to be aggressive sometimes, and theyre good snakes with good genes, it just means they have high prey drive, so theyll be good eaters. also, theyre just making jokes about it. they dont want the snakes to be aggressive.
i understand where youre coming from though. i just dont think that them breeding more aggressive snakes is wrong (sorry if i misunderstood your point, if i did pleas correct me)
have a nice day :D
My dad just called snakes "death wigglers" when he asked what I was watching! These babies are adorable!
never heard them called death wigglers before but its so accurate 😂
my friend and I call them danger noodles and whenever she does a handful of them? forbidden pasta.
lol my mom calls them fanged eyed-non-blinking ropes. I disagree. Snakes are da best(second only to cats and dogs)
I've heard them called 'cuddle spaghetti' which is cute.
I called them cute noodles
Poor Emily, she just wants to see the babas even if she’s bleeding she wants to see them 🥲
YES QUEEN SHES SO NICE
I can't blame her
dude, her wrist is literally bleeding so much tho 😭😭
Yes I agree
@@mo0onsh0t Ik 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I just received the runt of this clutch she’s as hissy as ever. We have named her Rosie and she’s adjusting well to her new mansion of a 10 gallon tank😂😂
🎉🎉🎉
Update??
@@amblonyxx Her colors have gotten even prettier. She’s definitely not as sassy, but she still likes to tail buzz. At this point I feel like it’s just her having an attitude to have an attitude typical bull snake. She’s on the smaller side due to her being the runt but that means we get the baby faze longer. She’s finally gotten big enough that she’s probably gonna get upgraded to a 20 gallon very soon.
Another update from my new account she’s 2 now and look just like her mama and she’s almost 3 feet long super crazy after seeing her baby video again ❤️
There always seems to be a perfect example every year of why "incubate until no debate" is so important!
A minute in and so many thoughts:
1) I love that Ed is so much more involved, showing us the mom. He’s not just the camera man anymore.
2) Emily casually talking parentage while being eaten by a bull snake.
3) Assuming anything about the dad based on percentages when you have so many eggs that didn´t make it is a bit rash.
I love how Emily was so calm while *BLEEDING* from Mr Steal-Yo-Girl’s bite
Well I don't think it hurts very much. My baby kingsnake bite felt like nothing. Obviously she's bleeding so I'm sure it hurt a little but stopped as soon as he let go. Hey and at least she cleaned it while getting him to let go. Two birds one stone. Lol 😂
A baby kingsnake is different than a full grown bull that draws that much blood lol. She’s definitely used to getting bit, but it still hurts
I like how she was literally being bit and bleeding and still just so unfazed
Very surprised how often the "incubate 'til there's no debate" method actually works, but I guess life finds a way! Absolutely GORGEOUS albinos!! ❤️
I've been told that a snake bite isn't any worse than when a cat scratches you. Plus, Emily has worked with snakes for years, so the initial panic one would feel when a snake bites isn't present for her. I can imagine that for her, when a snake bites, it's just mildly annoying if they don't let go.
I worked with snakes it is like a cat scratch UNLESS it's boas or pythons those backward pointing teeth can really shred you up!
It really isn’t that bad, it always looks worse than it actually is. Used to have a blind ball python, he used to bite me all the time mistaking my hand with food during feeding 😅
I think the only one that really messed me up was my green tree python (they've got massive teeth) and my rescue retic that wasnt socialized. Other than that? Yeah mild annoyance.
Monitors on the other hand, whooooooo boy. Kevlar gloves with a few of them. Until the get older, they're all super fussy.
Trust me. Cat bites are WAY worse. People have lost hands due to amputation from horrible infection.
Cat bites that puncture almost always require IV antibiotics.
I havent been bitten by a boa or other large species, but my rat snake's have bitten me SO MANY TIMES. I compare it to getting clamped on by the hard side of velcro.
My a-hole cat has bitten and scratched me many times, and I'll take the snake bites over cat anyday.
Yay!! Congratulations Priscilla, you're now officially a mom.
lol true
201TH LIKE!!.
I would love to see a video that counts or shows just how many different bull snake & hognose morphs they get this year, even now it seems there are around 20 that I can remember. I love baby snakes❤❤
Just an interesting thought
I know there was a white side, possible axanthic, a lavender, I think there was a hypo, patternless aaand I can’t remember the others.
There's so many lol, thier projects are going great this year
@@franciscorosa1498 such an improvement from last year, I'm interested to see what happens next year
like 20 normals, 14 albinos and so on? that would be cool :)
Ed: You gonna wash ur arm off or?
Emily w/ her priorities straight: *NO THERE’S NO TIME THERE’S BABIES*
Calling one of the moldy baby bulls "Penicilla" to nudge at Priscilla's name and penicillin (which is derived from mold) would be funny
So smart hehe
Brilliant!
Emily running around despite a bloody hand is very on brand 😂
Same
I’d love to see a video at the end of the year with updates about all of your hold backs. Their color changes to much after a few sheds, it would be cool to see how they’re growing!
OMG, Mr Steal Your Girl just glomming onto Emily and not wanting to let go is hilarious! I'm so glad the babies hatched.
So many baby bullsnakes! The albinos are so cute. I'm glad the moldy egg hatched. Two babies that as so cute and sassy, like normal. At least these ones are behaved. I never thought I would see the day where barely any baby bullsnakes wouldn't be sassy
Ed: you gonna go wash your arm off?
Emily: There's no time! There's babies!
Um.. and Ed, you did splash her wrist with Vodka. So she's good! 😂😂
With cheap vodka it honestly can do more harm than good
@@edwardhisse2687 Not really, alcohol is a great desinfectant, either way.
@@Sakisasvictorianmask Not certain cause im not an expert, but I'd guess that cheap wine would be the only one that might do more harm than good, would probably make you really sticky which might make dirt more likely to stick, and all the sugars and tannins is probably not healthy for keeping bacteria out of a wound.
@@snakewithapen5489 I mean, yeah, and I wouldn't use a cocktail for desinfectant either, but I don't see the problem with vodka?
@@Sakisasvictorianmask yeah no I imagine vodka's OK cause even the cheap stuff is relatively clean, higher ethanol content. I just don't know if all alchohol would work cuz I wouldn't wanna put all the sugar in white wine on an open cut lol
Emily took that bite like a champ! I know it's more uncomfortable when they latch on like that instead of just a strike. beautiful bull snakes!
It hurt! No way it didn't. No way she was caught off guard and biten like that. Its all for clicks and views. I enjoy the content but could do without the extras
@@michaelhayes6209 people will find something to complain about no matter what…🙄😂
She probably opened his bin and he came at her thinking she was food, we’ve seen his strong food responses in other videos
@@mariahfox2616 Agree 100% some folks just love complaining. I actually like seeing that snakes can and will bite on occasion, its more real than thinking they are just mellow all the time especially bull snakes who are known to be moody when hungry.
I think the baby smell is the placenta fluids, the same as when my dog had pups, that placenta smell is un describable but it's magic for bonding, so liking it is exactly how it's supposed to work👍 I actually miss it.
Also same for human babies. Newborn smell is just magical no matter the species
That makes me wonder if there's some sort of pheromone or compound given off that's meant to encourage parental bonding. The thing is, snakes don't care for their babies, so that smell wouldn't have any use in the wild.
Maybe the smell/pheromone evolved long ago in some root vertebrate ancestor as the byproduct of something else, and it's only started to create that bonding instinct with mammals?
@@herpderp3916 man, talk about a fascinating evolutionary mystery!
@@herpderp3916 Snakes don't bond the same way mammals do, but they may have some degree of nest-protection instinct? That could be considered a sort of basic, primitive version of parent bonding
Question: Did y'all ever video tape Prisillas hatching? I'm trying to remember who her parents are and how did she look/acted when she was a hatchling. Great video 💙🐝💙
I am relatively sure she was one of the first daughters of Mr Wilson, either with Mrs Wilson or with Misstress. Don't know if that was on video or if it was just meantioned later though...
If they did it would probably be from 2 or 3 years ago.
Methinks 2022 will be the year of 'incubate till no debate'! It seems like all of the clutches you've filmed so far have had an iffy egg/eggs that made it!
Did the garder snakes have any babies? I loved your videos of cleaning out their enclosure and finding them all.
I will never get tired of baby snake videos. This is like my fourth baby season since I discovered this channel. I've seen so many babies and it makes me so happy to see them 🥰🥰🥰
We just need to talk about how professional Emily is. Like her arm is legit bleeding but she's still like "Babies!!!"
Seeing all the baby’s hatch is the best time of the year lol
It's honestly incredible those two moldy eggs hatched...! We're so happy to have those two cuties in the world!
The “cream” colouring almost looks violet on my screen. Cute 🐍💜
I'm so happy the moldy babies made it! Congrats, guys!
And once again the excited baby snake voice has got my dog VERY excited to watch the video as well 😂
Girl keep it coming!!!
All the clutches hatching at once!!! So excited for the rest of baby season
😂 the way Emily just continues with a bloody arm
My favourite kind of videos, baby sneks 🐍. Congratulations on the anniversary as well for this weekend 🎉🎈🎊
Love the hatching videos, cant wait to see the rest of the babies
Living on the other side of the planet means I get to watch this just before bed. Emily and Eds voices are my lullaby.
I’m south hemi =)
@@huianxing3782 same mate.
These guys defied all the odds because you 2 NEVER gave up!!!!!!
my guess is they were being so calm before their bins were set up bc they'd spent quite a few days slithering over each other by that point. very glad some of the clutch made it!
I love how Emily is just talking even if Mr. SYG is chomping on her and her hand is bloody afterwards…😂❤️Love when Ed goes: Don’t you wanna wash of your hand? - and Emily goes: NO CUZ THERE ARE BABIES🐍🥰
Hey Emily, I’m wondering where you got your pizza saves lives shirt? It’s so awesome! I also love how you said ‘come here little friends!’ And you just causally have Mr SYG taking a bite your wrist.
Much love from England xx
there's something so relaxing about these hatching videos
Aww~ Those baby snakes are sooo cute~ Awesome~💞
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
I love watching the snakes hatch it’s so cute
idk why i always get excited watching eggs hatching.. feels like it's always my first time 😭
Little baby bread sticks so cute! 🥰
Ed: You gonna go wash your arm off?
Emily: No, there's no time, there's babys!
emily just casually walking around with a war wound, major respect 👍
This is extraordinary! Its hard to believe you have so many snakes!
I'm so glad you kept incubating!! 5 little snakeys!!!
I love baby Snakes (and grown ones)! They look so cute!
I love your videos so much and I actually am getting a snake thanks to you and your educational videos teaching me how to look after a snake as well as my own research and thank you for bringing me into the reptile world.
Day 6 of reminding Ed and Emily about the Soda incubator
It’s actually up and running now but this is from their backlog of videos. In one of the enclosure build-off videos they show it being used
@@pleio5pilos148 Oh thank god I can finally stop doing the day thing, honestly lost track of the days 💀
Idk how people do this lmao
The white-sided trait is beautiful to be and Circus is just absolutely gorgeous
I love how they always caption what's going inside the animals mind or like what they would say if they could speak
Cant wait to see these little guys grow, they are gonna be beautiful :)
YAY MORE BABIES 🤪🤪
It seriously is amazing at this point to see what all ya'll can get to hatch. Those two eggs hatching is amazing, and just more proof of how much you care for them even before they hatch.
I love seeing the babies 💜💙💜 I hope you all have a great day 💙💜💙
OMG they are so cute I hope to see so many more videos like this!!!!!!!!!!
When I started seeing egg hatching videos I got so excited! This is my favourite time of the year on UA-cam 🥰 Thank you for this! ❤️❤️
I love seeing all the babies!
I'm loving all the videos you guys have been pushing out.
They got all their anger out at hatching and talked it out during their remaining days in the incubator
of course
Some Questions. Are bulls always this spicy? Do they tame down if handled more than these breeders are? We had tons of wild ones on the farm growing up and they didn't seem this hissy! Also the ones on the farm LOVED eggs which is why/how I had so much contact with them (that and their love of the mice attempting to get into the grain bins) which is how I know they weren't nearly as snappy as these. Do pet bulls not eat eggs? If not why not? Seems like it would be easy food to acquire. I'm mostly curious because these guys must be popular for you to be breeding them but I'm struggling to see what they have over other species that seem naturally calmer.
Pet bullsnakes are usually fed mice, not eggs. Also, the sassiness is something you'll see more in babies and in snakes that aren't handled as much (breeder snakes don't get handled too much), with handling most snakes become less sassy as they come to realize you're not a threat. The sassiness is not true anger, it's just their defensive instinct.
I raise quail so l totally understand the BABY RUSH!!!!! I still miss my corn snake Spot. He is over 25 years old and living happily with a local herpatologist.
Gives snake vodka to get him to stop biting.
Seriously, that was the best 😂
Anyone else always still shocked at how Emily can be being eaten making no reaction at all 😂
I like how Emily just cares about the eggs when her hand is flippin BLEEDING
Emily, just bl33ding out lol casual lol. Love it! So far so good. Saw two commercials!
They are so cute and orange! I love the albino snakes and love these videos
Yay more babies!!! Gosh 8 mins and over 2K views!!! Love it..Awe he's giving Emily kisses
Chompy kisses!
It's super interesting to me that the CLUMPS of eggs are the ones that made it through incubation and the singletons did not. There really does seem to be an advantage for the eggs being attached to their fellows.
I wonder if they were able to better circulate the temperature than the single eggs, and that's what helped them survive?
@@kexthefuzzy4202 This is my assumption, they could retain heat better
Aww! Sweet babies! Can't wait for the next clutch of babies!!
beans
"Two negatives make a positive"! Snake math! :) I absolutely love these videos and can't wait to see more clutches!
Hi Ed and Emily, sorry that this isn't the ideal place for this question but do you still have your black tailed cribos, and are you still planning to breed them? I know your young female may still have been too young this year but are they in next year's breeding plans? I really enjoyed your cribo videos!
You have a LOT of mouldy eggs this year.
Could it be, that the overstocked incubator didn't allow for much air circulation and enabled mold?
Or was the circulation fine but it spread around the spores from one container to the other?
Because that much mold doesn't seem normal.
@@ChimkinMcCluckie yeah I know, I am curious because it is not only this clutch.
This one probably had the worst of it, but every clutch shown this year had at least one moldy egg, most had more.
Did it come from this incorrectly set up clutch and spread? Was overstocking and circulation the culprit? I can't imagine it was just random chance.
Whatever the reason, mistakes happen and they had reason to do the things they did this year the way they did, but I think it is important to know what the mistake was as to not repeat it.
I love the smell of puppy breath. Can't beat it and it goes quite quickly
So many babies! Love it!
Fastest click ever
I’m glad I caught this video before it was demonetized from Emily’s blood 😂
All love I hope it doesn’t get demonetized
Emily is so excited by baby snakes that she doesn't care about having blood all over her wrist. There's never a dull moment at the Snake Discovery Zoo.
It must be so much fun to hold snakes they're like little living noodles! The danger noodles haha

"This sweetheart who likes to try and bite me"
The reaction Ed had to her biting him plays in my brain sometimes without prompting. Just suddenly "AAAH! Hi Priscilla!" and I'm smiling
Please encourage viewers to always take care of open cuts on your skin before handling pets.
I'm thinking the vodka (ouch!) counted for both cleaning and antiseptic.
I had a wild caught bull snake for a summer to do scout programs with, he bit me like that several times. Still, he was a great snake and was released at the end of the summer.
I just woke up and now I get to see my favorite part of snake hatching
I don’t think I’ve EVER gotten to a video a minute after it was posted! What a great way to start the morning!
