IOD fuse replacement (TCG Install Epilogue)

This is a video of a replacement of an I.O.D fuse that was blown after cutting the wires running to the overhead console. This fuse will control anything that can turn on without the ignition. The Radio and the Interior lights would not work, along with the light under the hood or the cargo lamp. This fuse also happens to have the fuse clip that most find annoying. Hope this helps.

I was frustrated until I saw your video. Ok. The fuse comes out part way, BUT then I saw the little retainer and popped it open. My overhead lights and my engine compartment lights work. Yay!

The IOD fuse is an oddball thing, The ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse is used to prevent battery discharge during shipping or long-term storage of the vehicle. However, if you do intend to store your vehicle it is recommended to remove the fuse to prevent battery drain while not running for an extended period of time.
