I cried when I watched this
I still cry after 15 yrs
Same here
@@mythoughtsandme541315 years already?? holy shit.....
I cried when he gave her the note
I do too very heartbreaking
Michael realised his son was about to start making all the same mistakes he did, so had to make sure Ben puts his family first.
Yes. You can regret those mistakes and it may be too late for you to change it but the best thing you can do to make up for it is to make sure nobody follows you
Undoubtedly the best scene because of it.
Yeh I watched the movie too.
His son doesnt have the remote
Are you a bot? What is with useless comments outlining exactly what happens in the video?
Sandler has had a ton of great movies, but click just always stuck with me. Such a profound message
You'd love Big Joel's video on the movie
To this day, this is Adam's most underrated scene in history!!!
He’s such a good actor
@@randycrawford1132 he truly is
No.... it's not
@@JustinLancaster95That's because you have no clue what you're talking about.
@@devanworkman8745 Do you even know which comment I am responding to? Idiot
Ben’s actor really sold the emotion in this scene, you can feel the emotion of watching someone you’ve looked up to and loved all your life dying right in front of you.
Yeah it clicks and makes you feel because the emotion they emulate feels similar to the despair I felt when I lost one of my loved ones. Their good acting makes it easy to connect.
It was one of the few movies that made me cry like a baby. This scene is just the best. One of the best of Sandler
And this began as a typical Adam Sandler film
yea this movie rly broke my heart in some sences, it goes to show he can make good movies when he chooses to
That's why this scene hits people harder than movies meant to be emotional dramas. You don't expect this gut punch and that makes the tone hit that much harder. This is how you subvert expectations!
@@silverblade357 That was the biggest problem I had with it.
When it gets serious, it feels like an entirely different film written by entirely different people.
I just wish it balanced the tone more evenly. I’ve seen tons of films and shows balance the comedy and drama well but this not so much.
Still not the worst film I’ve seen from Adam Sandler though maybe it’s part of the nostalgia (rented it from Blockbuster when it came out on DVD)
I'm 58 and this scene has me feeling my own mortality and I really savor ever day with my family.
It's crazy to think that this part takes place around 2023 and it is that year in reality! They did a good job with the aging comparing him from the movie to real life now.
Well...kate is less old than the movie, she's 50 whereas adam has beard and less white hair
I disagree. Sandler looks about 6-8 years older here. It’s normal though people are showing their age less nowadays
*Family comes first*
My thought about this line when I first watched this movie: Oh come on, what a cliche way to end a movie.
My current thought: Life has tugged me in so many different directions, I can't understand why some things fail and others succeed. I'm just glad I have my family.
Did you say Family?
My family members I don't want in my life
@@domtoretto7263, Technically, I didn't say anything, I typed the word family.
Family as in my parents.
@@wooweebuttcheeksrrrr Why?
Me: try not to cry.
Also me: cry a LOT.
This scenes hits harder after having lost my dad. Always put family first you never know when it will be their time.
There’s something about when comedy actors play a serious part that hits different. Amazing scene
Every time I watch this scene I get legit goosebumps, something about this scene feels so ominous, the rain pouring down🌧 the cinematic and powerful strings and pianos 🎹🎵 The blue lighting, Also Adam Sandler’s acting in this scene is PHENOMENAL! The way he’s shaking and trying to stay alive and how he’s whispering cause he can’t really speak. It gets me every time, also the fact that this is an Adam Sandler movie is Mind Blowing! I did not expect something like this! 👌
1:33 When your dying Grandpa finds out you'll spend his inheritance on weed but it's too late to take you out of the will
I used to watch this with my Dad, now I just cry wishing the remote existed so I can see him again 😢
I’m sorry for your loss bro 🙏
@@christophertrujillo719 I really appreciate that. I hope everyone gets to see their parents grow old and become grandparents before the time comes ❤️
I lost it at "It's time to go."
One of the few movies that makes me cry. 👏
A new river has formed... in my home... from my tears.
It really gets me when Ben leans down crying on his chest as his father passes away. 😭
When he flips off bill LOL
I remember watching this in the theaters with my dad when I was 10 years old. It was the first time I ever cried because of a movie, and I was blubbering. I hugged my dad tight after.
I laughed a little where he did a middle finger on bill but then switched it an ok sign
@@blank9574it’s a rivalry for so long and when he’s gonna die he lets it go
This movie goes from colourful fun to depressing and it really messes with my emotions. It’s very rare I cry because of a movie but damn this really hit especially with the build up to it throughout the movie. To this day I can’t get through this scene without tearing up
What pain do the ppl have who dislike this been trough 🙏🏽
The fart joke fans don't like to think this hard.
That spelling
One of the best Adam Sandler scenes ever! I cry every single time 😢
This scene always gets me cuz I lost my dad back in 2010 & I'm only 25, so watching it makes me tear up 😢
I lost my father at 22. Similar to this except he was in his hospital bed. Hang strong kid. You father and your bloodline are watching. Represent them well
@@zerocool7146 Thanks man
Haven't seen uncut gems , but this shows what Adam Sandler is capable of
They billed it as a comedy but holy shit the last third is like legit freaky
Childhood Memories
You saw that movie when you was kid ???
When I tell you I bawled in that theater!!!
Click is Adam Sandler's masterpiece.
Always remember you have this remote in your pocket everyday. Dont waste your time with your smartphone better enjoy the time with your family
2024 and still i cry
Every time. I cry. Every time!
My mom passed away December 23 2016 and i this brings back memories. If you have your parents still hug them because when they are gone it will be hard both of my parents passed away.
That love note got me good. I bursted into tears. That note was a treasure to him. It was his soul and he gave it to his soulmate.
This always makes me cry a lot specially when am depressed or sad
This is why I love Click.
A combination of good humor and drama. 💯
This movie was a lot like that one story from the Book of Virtues "The Magic Thread", about a boy who was always impatient for the next thing, and was given a thread to speed things along. And, like Michael, he basically threw his life away, fast forwarding himself to old age with no memories.
I know this was a dream and all but damn this still hurts like hell years later 😭
God this makes me cry so hard. Always loved this.
This movie broke me because it's basic on real-life that your time, so spend time with your family and friends before your time is up, that's brutal but true, so be careful with your life 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
Idc what anybody says. This is Adam's best film ever. It was funny. Amd it showed Adam can act serious.
I cried the first time I saw this😢😭 his screams “BENN!!!” I almost cried to death💀

what is wrong with u
Dis still got me crying to dis day
People talk too much about alleged Sandler's actor skills, but I really could see his heart in this scene.
I cry every time i watch this movie.
First time I ever saw this I damn balled out tears...years.... still hurts
Such a powerful scene
Life, Worth Living
I TOLD you to quit chopping onions by me!
man i was so surprised by how dark this movie got when i saw it in theater
With this level of orchestral music, any movie can be a masterpiece I guess.
Best acting of Sandler so far
Life is so short , it’s also the longest thing we ever do.
2:32 The Lord almighty says that whenever someone passes away.
This is legit a well done scene. Adam Sandler can legit act in serious scenes.
If only the film was more consistent in its tone. Both halves felt like they were written by completely different people.
Even though it’s a movie the line he mentioned “family comes first” is something that gets me every time(in a sad way of course)
The acting is actually so fucking incredible omgggg
Gotta like the meaning of all this what Michael (Sandler's character) tries to tell, with all the mistakes he's done:
The son (Ben): Don't make the same mistakes, live your life as it should be.
The daughter (Samantha): Whatever happens, I love you.
Bill: You are a prick, but a good one. Take care.
Donna: I'm sorry for all the mistakes I did. Will you still love me in the morning?
Honestly, despite Adam Sandler being a mediocre actor and producer at best, I like how he portrays the protagonist's final moments in this scene. He should deserve more credit from this.
Rip
The Click movie should get a sequel that's about maybe someone related to Adam's character Micheal or could be about Cameron Monaghan's character and the remote teaches him to be more generous and nicer to people.
A very important movie.
I remember the first time watching this movie thinking it was all gonna be jokes and this ends up happening
Yeah me 2 that was real tear jerker
Best Adam Sandler movie
Family comes first.
Bad Dreams can teach you a lesson
If you did not shed a tear, you watched it wrong
This got Dark! Fast.
I really feel, thats how my father is gonna pass away.

Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
Creepy thing is, this really happened
This film sort of reminds me of Bridge of Teribithia where the first two acts are silly and goofy and then you get hit with an emotional train wreck at the end of the film.
hey bill fuck- oh wait you're okay
😭💔
It’s hard not to laugh when he flips off Bill.
This is a dark scene especially for Adam Sandler :((((
The end.

0:49 HELP! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
0:53 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a theory Michael did die and was but to his heaven in the afterlife I only think that because why would Morty give him life if his job is to take souls to the next world.
Thats an interesting theory 🤔. After going through the entire movie, his biggest regret was missing out on family; so his "heaven" would be the life and family he skipped over
He did die, but remember the note Morty left at the very end? It said, “good guys need a break, I know you’ll do the right thing this time.” Morty’s the Angel of Death who reversed the timeline to give Michael a second chance at life.
He was giving Michael a wake up call that he can’t just live life by working all the time, he needs to balance work with his family and loved ones. Too much of one is a bad thing
I cried too hard after I drank 🍺
Its shame that this movie is kinda torn on two sides, one that sees this as a typical "shitty" Sandler movie and one that sees this as one of the best movies from him. To be fair, I think that having a good movie from Sandler is rare, but I'd say that it is one of the best from him myself. Sure the jokes won't land right now in 2022 but I honestly think most jokes in the movie does not fall flat. When this movie hits you, it really does hit you hard in the nuts though. This scene is definitely the best in the movie.
Four umbrellas and no one could put one over his face?
In the end , its just Corn Flakes ...

My ex wife left me after she cheated on me and I was away from my kids for the first time since birth. after seeing my son on his birthday I was upset at not being there for him every day like a father should. After seeing him in our old house and giving him his presens and playing with him. I left and got stupidly drunk in town then on return home 8 or 9 hours later i fell asleep cooking and set the house on fire. luckily I woke up 3 weeks later out of a coma and realised life is everything. If you've read all this crap thanks. This film reminds me of not letting the doctors put me in a coma when they should've straight away because I wanted to see my ex wife one more time to say I love you and that I loved my kids. Moral of my story is very close to this scene. If you love someone be prepared to die for them even if they've done bad or you. Feelings never go away
hey man, congrats on being alive and here telling us a part of yourself. and kudos to you for realizing since it is never too late for that.
cheers brother, take care! 🍻
You’re a true fighter in this lifetime. Keep doing you; We could use more of it in our world.
I'm sorry this happened to you. And yeah, always fight for your family, like you did... with the exception of your wife - if she cheated, she outed herself, but your kids are innocent.

Shouldn’t the remote have skipped this illness? It did earlier, but it doesn’t in this case?
That means it was the end
Theres nothing to skip to.
thats how they thought cars would be in 2021? lmaooo
and then you find out, it was all a dream.
This scene really messed me up.

*I saw this clip a billion times. still amazing. However his son's wife CAN'T ACT!*

Finally: The real reason Adam Sandler DESERVES to have died and Be dead
Well that’s unnecessary, if you don’t like him for little reasons don’t force large amounts of hate against him
