The last time I did a vlog was 5 years ago when we had less than 50k subscribers. I enjoyed every moment of creating them, and I immediately felt like something was missing when I stopped doing them. We always wanted to do vlogs as a team, but we were too busy with the programs, the app, and the well-produced UA-cam videos.
We can't express how doing this vlog made us all feel, so we truly hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did creating it. We'll do more regardless of the response, but it would help if you could leave a like and a comment to let us know if you had fun and got some value out of this!

@@8383N8 its a lot from genetics sadly hehe always had them. They get better at the end of the day or when I eat little (less water retention), but there is not much I can do. maybe get them fixed in the future :) thank you, but I am resting well 😃

Hi Gabo. For exercise 4, if you keep only your toes on the parallel bar, it feels way more natural and prevents glute/ham activation, you end up pulling towards your abdomen too! 15:22

1. Track workouts: I’ll make a Vlog, but if you download our app and go to the lecture section of the beginner’s guide there is a 20min video explaining how I use my notebook (that whole section is FREE).

I think this is a great format. I enjoy seeing how you actually trian, and staying engaged through a vlog makes it easier to retain the tips and general information you give versus just hearing it in a tutorial video or something.

Please, give more workouts like this. Getting the insight of this kind of training is very rich in the way that people that trains calisthenics at home without a coach can structure our own routines!
I really like this. In Brazil there are several videos on this model for the gym, but not for calisthenics. Thanks a lot
At 53 years young I've just began my workout routine again yet differently have been mia for 10 years which mainly consist of calisthenics whereas I use to be a devoted weight lifter/powerlifter 87 state 🏆 Glen Mills yet always been intrigued by the gymnastics exercise so therefore appreciate your video layout soon I shall begin my journey with the stretches you ex amplified for us all good job.

1. I will do one for planche once I start training for it again (2-3 months) and one for one arm handstand soon. I don’t train for the handstand press.

It was a really amazing type of video and I would love to see more of that. I wouldn't mind if it was longer also I prefer not to cut through the set also make sure to mention rest time between sets in all exercises please. As for music I don't prefer that I like it this way more. Also it wouldn't be wrong to have a training vlog with eating vlog combined together in one video every now and then. Hey Gabo, I've been your fan for a few years now (and you also left a comment on my first official video, which was amazing from you). It never crossed my mind I would one day be able to do something that you are actually struggling in calisthenics! For a very long period of time I thought I would never be able to hold a front lever as well, but what made it work for me was working less on front lever holds and more on weighted pull ups and tucked front lever rolls. Once I got to a 1 RM of 70% of my weight on weighted pull ups was when I held the full FL for the first time for around 3 seconds. The stronger I got on weighted pull ups, the longer my FL hold increased.
Now I've put around 10kg more of bodyweight from what I had 2 years ago (when I got the FL for the first time) and I just recovered my full FL hold using the same method, basically just getting my weighted pull ups to some high numbers. Maybe you can try adding this to your training and see if it makes your holds any better!

Do front lever raises from horizontal to top . Accumulate good volume like 30 or 40 reps . Don't need to measure band tension too precise like this .

Front lever without false grip is very hard to hold. It feels way more difficult for me than a planche hold on floor, even though i unlocked front lever a year before than planche.

why not do military press instead of weighted hands stand push ups?
I actually rotate between those. Next training phase will be military. Both can work, especially when my goal is maintaining strength. That said, I am putting more preference to HSPU since it’s my only overhead pushing exercise while I specify on the front lever. And since later I’ll go to train Planche I don’t want to lose the technique and feeling of doing HSPU because I know that will be part of the plan. Makes sense? -Gabo
