Watermelon Pro Tips, Preparing permanent watermelon beds before laying down ground covering

Creating / Preparing permanent watermelon beds before laying down ground covering, so I needed to dig and created the beds breaking through the hard soil so that the root could have free range and nice drainage.
IMPORTANT: Preparing your watermelon beds with composted chips, sand, and horse manure. after the beds were dug, I needed to prep the beds with some good compost, chips, and sand to create a good rich lofty soil.

I have NEVER seen someone dig out such a hole to grow watermelons. I think the “ pros” giving you the his advice pulled the wool over your eyes. Make a hill, dude. The roots need air
