Mines been good except the top rail kept falling down on the left. We had to squeeze the bottom track of the slide rail with a channel lock so the slide rail stayed in the track. It was a hard lesson. Simple fix.
Hello sir... your video was very helpful. I had been noticing my dw was jumping from 2.24 (for example) to "1" in about a 1/2 hr-- even taking simultaneous pics on my dw and stove to make certain I wasn't crazy. No matter what setting I put it in, I'm getting 1/2 hr of service. Do I need to call Samsung? It's a 2 hr call from hello to goodbye, and hard to chunk out that time unless it's running incorrectly! Thank You soo much! Sandy Day
There is no clock on the machine if that’s what you mean when you say “set the time”. The display shows how much time is left before the machine is done washing your dishes.
@@Happiness_is_a_Reef_tank I did upload it and will figure it out...thx....also I washed my 1st load last night and I put containers on bottom rack and stacked them (small inside of large) and they didn't get clean....should I have used the booster option too?
@@Happiness_is_a_Reef_tank one last question if you don’t mind… does your model have a 3rd sprayer on the top? (bottom is the bar, middle is a sprayer, is there one at the top above the 3rd rack?)
how does it dry? specially, if you have a cup in there, does it totally dry the little puddle of water on top of the cup when all finished? That is the biggest issue I have with every dishwasher I have had.
Unfortunately, due to new appliance energy efficiency laws, almost all dishwashers won't dry properly. If you're concerned with drying, I suggest buying an American dishwasher which generally has heating coils at the bottom.
I read that water temperature needs to be above 120°F. Also needs rinse aid and auto release on. I have not tried it yet. I just finished to install it and will try tomorrow. I still need to level it and anchor it to the cabinet.
@@lukos3211 Thank you for your reply. I ended up buying a Bosch model. It does require rinse aid, but I still get my cups coming up wet when they are placed upside down. Plastic also does not dry out completely. It is a great dishwasher and that seems to be a problem with many of them.
I cannot hear on your video. Does when you power it up/down it makes a clicking noise? Mine does and I want to know if it's normal. I will call support but I want to know for yours if it does the sound.
Did you have a drying problem with this model? Especially those plastic containers? We just returned a Bosch 800 series ($900) at Best buy because of plastic containers were still wet no matter what set up we got. Best buy saleman stated the new drying technology called "Condenser Dry" will not 100% dry your inside plastic containers. They suggested us to use the diswashers with "Heater elements" found in cheaper models. But most high end models are using the condenser dry technology, and I want a high end model!! I have learned that this Samsung washer model has ability to open automatically the door at the end of washing cycle, allowing 30% more dry feature. Is that true?
What the Best Buy rep told you is true. The new dishwashers won't dry properly due to energy efficiency laws. I'd recommend getting an American brand, specifically KitchenAid for your high-end taste!
This vid is 4 years old and the dishwasher still looks better than others on the market.
How do you set the clock ?

How do you adjust the amount of rinse aid that is dispensed? The instructions in the manual do not work.
How do you reach the start button when you close the door to start the wash cycle? I see it’s a tight fit after the door closes.
You push the button before you close it.

Do what I do. If the dishes come out clean ignore it or use the short wash cycle which kicks ass.
Looks fabulous! I just purchased this same dishwasher (in stainless steel). How has it held up over the past two years?
Still works great! We haven't had any problems with it.
YAY - that's good to hear!
I did as well. Although I'm having trouble trying to set the time. Any tips?
There is no clock on the machine if that’s what you mean when you say “set the time”. The display shows how much time is left before the machine is done washing your dishes.
Hey, have you figured out how to change the time??
Do you have a video on how you connect to the Smart Control and how to connect it and use it?
I don't. You have to use the "smart things app"

are there lights inside the dishwasher?
No

When the door pops open to let air circulate, does steam escape and warp the cupboards or damage the wood finish?
Does Linear option bad than circular option. Does it get stuck if any dish obstructs it?
I have a small drip on the left front is the flap supposed to be outside
Did you install it to the counter or side cabinets?
I had them install it so I don't know

Yes it’s normal, it’s just a relay clicking. I also noticed the new models have a different dispenser than the one in the video.
lol whoever installed the dishwasher didn't install the bottom cover. Probably tossed it thinking it was extra parts.
You are suppose to remove the two white plastic sheets on the back wall
Yeah....im aware of that....and I did...of course
Can you help me mine won’t power on all of a sudden
How did you get your top 3rd rack to come all the way out?
It doesn't come all the way out.
I took my top rack off and can’t put the hooks that hold it back in
I cannot either bad construction
very complicated to pull out the middle racket. the small part that holds it cannot go back to it's orighinal POSITION??????? cacrazy

It works surprisingly well. Still can have a buildup on top of dish but with rinse aid you just shake it off and it's dry enough.

It does come out. Guy that installed mine just showed me how. Third rack (upper) also comes out
