We were with Samsung support on the phone, and had us plug and unplug, switch off and on the power.. and they were gonna send somebody to fix it, but now I know. Receive a thank you from my dishes !
Thank you for posting. It took me all day to figure out what was going on (that it was locked). User manual does not even point out how simple it is to just simply hold the sanitize button if it gets locked!

Non customer service is right.. they blocked all the media behind it.. but they have the highest employee suicide rate out of every company in the world.

I came so close to taking the front panel off to see if there was a switch or something on the inside! THANK YOU a hundred times over!!!! I can't wait to tell my husband I fixed our dishwasher... ;-) haha.
Same problem. My child lock button is aligned in between Sanitize and Dry+. Wasn’t obvious had to press and hold Dry+. So funny different models use different buttons for same feature. Glad you posted the vid!

Thank you sooo much! I tried everything! These control panels are so complicated with having to push sequential buttons to get into a certain modes. Technology is great but also it can be complicated.
Thanks for the video. Saved me finding a manual online and looking through it. If it takes this long for adults to figure out child lock, this is not good engineering instructions. Thanks again!

First of all, thank you good sir for posting this, it saved me from having to call a service tech. Second, the engineers at Samsung are a bunch of jackasses for not putting this on the troubleshooting section of their website.
