That old chevy is awesome, I've got 2 of that body styles sitting I. Building the one with a 12 valve Cummins on 44s gonna sell the other so I can finish the one. Awesome video y'all
1:08 I want one so bad, XCab long. I've built a '67, '72, style and two '79s. Never had an extra cab. Built them for the dunes to jump so that kinda explains why the standard. Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely do it.
I've been out with rigs on better tires and I've still kept up. The boggers are heavy and the tread is stiff so not ideal but they still work. Yes other tires will work better in most conditions. But that comes at a expense as well haha not cheap when dealing with big tires
There's a couple ppl but really depends on the early season or late season conditions and trails to follow, it's on the small side forsure don't have to much abilities in the deep stuff
Just outta Curiosity for the red Ford ever think about airing down? Those super Swappers would get alot more traction at say 4 psi, lol just saying, kick ass video tho
I keep wait on zip ties and bias plies to show up... bitchin video!! I miss riding, getting old sucks. Plus we dnt have that kinda snow in the southern states
@@WhiskeyWheelers Nice, I learned something. For highway ice and snow narrower is better by placing more lbs/sq in. on the road surface. However that same line of thinking doesn't apply in deep snow. Tire height, truck weight, horsepower and some width is good. I'm impressed, that was a delight to watch because I sell tires for a living. Great video.
Yes absolutely right. The width and overall size really helps for flotation when aired down is the right snow conditions. Still like to have siped or tires that keep snow in the treads for that snow on snow Traction but also need the lugs to really dig when needed. 1 day can be such a different experience then the next, always learning new things to try and what works. Thank you
@BLACKLACDTS lots will debate wich one is best but the top of the chain is interco irok, mickey Thompson baja pro, mickey Thompson pro xs work really well mainly for the massive sizes they come in. But any tire with good sipes to keep snow in the tread blocks and can air down well. I run 35 pro comp xtreme mt2 on my 86 f150 and snow wheeled for years with those just aired down and it's got me lots of places still
Almost a whole hour of trucks getting stuck in the snow and struggling to move. Has there ever been a more frustrating video made? I maintain that there has not.
This is an awesome video except for the loud exhausts. Great proportion of reasonable exhausts at over 75% of the featured rigs muffled well. There's no need for blat on snow wheeling, please you guys are almost there. You're not cool with a loud truck, it's dumps or bust, I don't want to hear your blat. This video scores high among non-loud trucks. Isn't there ANY prepper ethos at all? I have to listen to your shitty sound design with the cheaper Summit non-stainless combo? Sort it out dude, summit has quality SS mufflers that don't blat, even Flo40s are better, use another cheap roundy like the internet, they're $40 for two. Would liek the old Chevy to be way less blatty, and there needs to be no blat from a Ford pickup or Bronco. Fix it it's a bad use of power, you don't need 40hp, LS and Coyote boy. The toys are mid-loud; blatting never, ever, ever does shot for a Toyota of any type off road and 4-banged. You don't need rice blat from a Toyota it adds Slick 50 amounts of horsepower. Loud exhaust on a Toy 4-banger is a meme you could have saved money with with grandm'as 3" mufflers from the Suburban.
Snow wheeling deep snow is the best! Rigs usually are cleaner at the end of the day than when they started. Great video!
Yeah definitely alot cleaner lol, thank you
The red wagon is bad ass!!!
Wicked wheeling video bud.
Thanks man 🤘

That white ford being pulled out was hard to watch lmao 😂
Lol ya
Real good video deserves some kind of award !!!
I could’ve done all that in my geometro 😂that’s the kinda stuff I’m used to hearing 🙃 awesome stuff! That’s a lot of snow 😮

Yeah love the ext cab long on the pre 80s and the split windows on the 80s
Awesome. Love snow wheeling
I can’t make my mind up if the Boggers help in the snow or hurt you. The red Ford is a unit.

Great video. Go to 3 psi next in snow. 💪🏼
@jeppakongur thanks. I change pressure all over the place depends on conditions. 0 psi up to 10 max
That ford is a beast
SUCH BADASSNESS
what air pressure are you runnin? those boggers arent half bad in the snow but they really start to dig if you let them
Usually 3 to 5 psi lower if I really need it. And ya just need the power to let them eat haha
Wow, I like that black truck
great video! is there anyone on 31s?? or is that too small of a tire in these conditions thanks for the info!

thank you for the reply!@@WhiskeyWheelers
at 44:51 where did that old Ford come from, thats a mean looking truck
@rustinhunt4000 I'm pretty sure it was a guy in town that built it prince george area
Great video
Thank you
Best part is getting stuck then getting back out. I'm probably gonna put trax on my build only cuz I have a set
Would 35's be big enough ????
@@jeffreyyeater1780 absolutely, with a light enough rig and right conditions I've seen 33s work well
Just outta Curiosity for the red Ford ever think about airing down? Those super Swappers would get alot more traction at say 4 psi, lol just saying, kick ass video tho
Yes absolutely most of the time I run at 3 to 5 psi in snow and have went as low as 1 in really wet stuff
I keep wait on zip ties and bias plies to show up... bitchin video!! I miss riding, getting old sucks. Plus we dnt have that kinda snow in the southern states
Might have to do a Berta trip and get him to tune up my shit 🤔
I know that blue OBS Chevy! That’s Tanner 😂
Curious if the tires are 39's?
Red crew cab has 44s

Bad ass.
Yeah!
Some of the most non driving dudes I’ve ever…..
Long as y’all had fun is all that matters
That wat I was thinking. That y they need so bad as of rigs.
Так вот где весь снег😂
Get a snowmobile !
What's a snowmobile
