"Legate Damar may be the key to saving the Alpha Quadrant." - Benjamin Sisko, 2375 ("The Changing Face of Evil") It was Damar's sacrifice that helped defeat The Dominion and save the Alpha Quadrant! He was also an inspiration to many of us as he started off as an unremarkable officer serving under Gul Dukat who had quite the problem with the excess consumption of Kanar. So he went from Kanar Damar to Hero of the Cardassian Rebellion Damar!!! I can't wait to see this documentary!!!

I stopped watching DS9 originally after 4 seasons because I thought it was kinda dull. When I noticed it was being shown again in reruns, I decided to try watching it again and I am glad I did. Watched the entire series right to the end.
is it sad that i can only think of four named cardassians off the top of my head, damar easily beats out dukat, and poor ziyal fits somewhere between garak and dukat

Molly O'Brien: Jem'Hadar Slayer!!! I need this NOW!!!! But I need Naomi Wildman to be her Commanding Squatleader. She would be the cool one holding Molly back.
The Dominion Meta plot, the location of the series (former cardassian space station orbiting Bajor in spitting distance of the Badlands/DMZ plus a wormhole to the Gamma quadrant), ample variety of characters & the amazing performance by the cast makes DS9 by far the best (imo) and favourite Star Trek series. Meeting Max (Rom) in person recently and seeing what a down to earth nice guy he is in real life adds the icing on the proverbial cake . Cant wait to see this documentary! Where will i be able to download or buy (Amazon)? Will it show on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
I am wondering. When will the documentary of "What We Left Behind" be available on either DVD or Blu-ray? I am interested in the stories about "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" from the aspect of the behind the scenes politics of the series.
Oh Leeta.... Sweet, sweet Leeta... Doctor Bashir/Alexander Siddig was/ is a double moron... Canon moron/ IRL moron... Lost Leeta to Rom/ Lost Nana Visitor in real life.... face palm worthy. Also, Molly O'Brien is FUCKIN HOT!!! I would've felt weird about saying that, until I found out that she's actually only 2 years younger than me. For the most part, I had watched DS9 as reruns in the '00s so she always seemed perpetually so much younger than she really is... Then the internet taught me otherwise and showed me current photos... Never knew I was about to have a crush on Molly O'Brien! Lol! Super hot! And as far as Star Trek kid actor characters went, hers was the best... Alexander Rozhenko was always annoying as hell, and we all hated Wesley Crusher... Molly O'Brien was super adorable and funny and a surprisingly good actor for a toddler. lol. Next best was the 2 Borg refugee kids. Icheb was good, but he was pretty much an adult, so I dont really consider him a kid character really... Mezoti was really good though... so IMO she was 2nd best Star Trek kid character.
Geez...I hope the documentary doesn't waste any time being cute and silly like this. Having enthusiastically donated multiple times, I don't want this sort of idiotic, tacky wink-fest at all. How are these arrogant musings on ratings-smashing lesbian plot lines supposed to be anything worth hearing? Just because I absolutely love DS9 doesn't mean any of this video was stomachable. On the contrary, its selling out and cheapening what I love for pointless, trendy "comedy." Why would most DS9 fans, who are not kids, find the series compelling and ALSO think that Molly Obrien the badass is a funny idea? Why would a fan of any of these characters want to watch them act this way? Who in The world thought that this would appeal to us? I'm genuinely offended that this video was made, as it only damaged the property. A full cast pillow fight would've been less chilling, and about equally worthwhile. Please don't make the documentary like this; this is NOT why I love DS9.
Just about as narrow minded as one can be....quite ironic given that is precisely why DS9 didn't have the audience or the recognition it deserved when it was on television. People were too narrow minded about what Star Trek was. As Quark's last line of the series (THE last line of the series) proves to be true: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I will watch Molly O'Brien: Jem'Hadar Slayer only if Quark turns out to be the principal of her high school.
