Kiverton lad, I remember him coming to my sisters flat warming party in Whiston, I was so star struck I didn’t say a word to him, I still face palm when I think about it 🤦🏻♂️ what a good guy he comes across
I will always be a lifelong fan mate , from Dinnington, me and my mate Lee have followed you from 1999, I have your 2007 helmet signed by yourself at the nec in 08 in my display cabinet. We were there at brands in 07 screaming our heads off !!! You will always be my absolute legend bike racer and been a local lad just tops it off !!!! You are a top bloke keep up the awesome commentary on eurosport 👍
great interview, James doesn't get the recognition he deserves I think - you forget how epic the second world title was, and he always plays it down unlike some riders who can't stop telling you how good they still are. Cheers
Found this by accident and really enjoyed it. I'd forgotten a lot of James's career, which sounds terrible as he's always been one of my favourite racers. I've been lucky enough to meet him a few times at Phillip Island and Miller Motorsport Park. What an absolute gentleman. Thank you PetrolRevolt for such a great interview. Lynda from New Zealand
I was at Brands for the whole weekend the year JT did the double on the Ten Kate Honda, was an amazing weekend and I still have the Hans Spree shirt I bought while there tucked away somewhere.
I've just discovered the channel and going through the interviews, loving it. My requests for the future, if I may: Carl Fogarty, Cal Crutchlow, Neil Hodgson, Colin Edwards, Troy Bayliss, Ben Spies.
I raced with James back in the day with the New Era Motorcycle club in 600 supersport & some National 600 races as well...from memory l think a racer called Mick Corrigan gave his CBR600 to James to prove his talent...he was just so so fast... the majority of people knew that he was going to be a very special talent...👌
I would have never guessed James Tosland would brush right over his championship winning fireblade and then be like "This piano is my pride and joy, it'll never leave my sight!"
Nice one Nothing said about WSS team mate M Paquay tragedy at Monza, JT also broken leg - couldn't have been easy Ps - Quality incisive commentary in WSB, would like JT & Witham And he's a good pianoist
Great,James is very interesting an I enjoy his commentary on WSB. I have looked for a WSB race I remember where Neil Hodgson was I think a wildcard at Brands where he won by miles and was showing off doin wheelies , do you know which year and is it on UA-cam?
James toseland the legend
One of my favourite riders , where the person matches the rider .
Yet another British motor racing legend.....We are spoiled in the UK.....

Such a likeable Gent
Rev It Survival 😮😮
James is so well spoken and humble but he is harder than a bag of six inch nails. Excellent interview and a genuine pleasure to see him again

That was an amazing interview.
Big fan of JT and not just cause we share the name, race bikes and are both musicians.
He hasn't aged a lick. Good on ya.

Nice to see Toseland relaxed.
Can be a bit too intense for comfort sometimes.
He is a great guy he puts 110% effort into everything he does
Should've played the piano on the closing scene 🎼🎹🎹🎹🎶🎵🎶🎹🎹🎹 🏁👍🇺🇲
I use to sleep well 😅😅😅👍👍👍
