I remembered that this game was released as “Fnaf 3”, before Scott announced fnaf 3 being released. However, I didn’t know that plenty of people dislike the series. Like how Tyler stole Emil’s animatronic “candy the cat” and straight up just named it “sugar the cat” when the trtf 1 was called fnaf 3. Not to mention the amount of stolen assets in the game. It’s also a shame that Tyler was once having issues due to the amount of backlash he was getting from the games he created. I don’t know if he is still developing games or if he just quitted. But I really hope that he’s okay.

He's is working on a dev team I forgot it's name but it's starts with the letter K.
Basically they're working on a fully new reboot for the entire TRTF series.

Didn't know Tyler himself but I have a friend who helped work on the TRTF series with a dev team that I'm not allowed to name for anonymity's sake. Apparently, the project was initially going to be just that. A fan-made version of FNaF 3 since the actual game was taking longer to release than FNaF 2 did. Tyler basically just wanted to capitalize on the hype. My friend's dev group was only hired to work on that first game (The one in the vid) and according to him they had like two weeks to program the whole thing.

as some theories state, the FNaF 1 animatronics are actually fixed versions of withered FNaF 2 animatronics.
in conclusion the game was ahead of it's time!
it could technically be true, since the withered animatronics were refurbished into the classic animatronics we know.
Its not a theory, is a fact.

Goddamn, I remember being a cringy 12 year old and thinking the Tortured Animatronics were so cool. I returned to take a look at the series with context of the drama, and wow.

....You do realize Tyler has changed since then, right
trtf 2, 3, and 4 still had some of the animatronics from the fnaf series like Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Although Tyler has made some of his own animatronics like vigo or Lockjaw. The first game may not be that good due to the fact it stole a lot of things from fnaf 1 and 2 (not to mention Tyler stole candy the cat and renamed it to sugar), but some of the above games are pretty decent looking in my opinion.

In the night 8, after that Golden Freddy disappears, check the Party Room and you'll find endoskeleton.
My bad, I just realised that I was spreading wrong information, in this version of the game that you played endoskeleton does not show up in the party room. Actually, it will show up in the other version (the old version before it was called TRTF, not the version that the jumpscare sound is from FNAF 2). I realised that 4 months later XD.

Fun Fact: On Night 6, Purple Guy (Phone Guy) himself comes to the building in a Golden Freddy suit and attempts to kill the nightguard. No one notices this, but the newspaper says that the killer was banging on the door of the office when they found him, guess what you hear shortly before Golden Freddy attacks you on Night 6? Pounding on the door. Also, in the files Golden Freddy's jumpscare on Night 6 is called "Murderer", and his jumpscare is different to that of Golden Freddy's jumpscare in other nights. He actually has a full body instead of being a floating head, because he is a person in a suit instead of a ghost. There you have it, TRTF 1 predicted the FNAF movie's climax of the Purple Guy coming to the building in a springlock suit to try and kill the guard 9 YEARS before the movie came out.
It's even more interesting when you consider that this game claimed to be FNAF 3 before the real one came out, and both of them have Purple Guy in a suit trying to kill you, though in the actual FNAF 3 he is dead meanwhile in FNAF 3 fanmade he is alive in the suit.

I genually thought it was some kind of side series/contination to the fnaf when ı was a kid. I wasnt aware of the weird lore, but the minigames and game itself was preety good. I genually thought it was the contination of fnaf.

The doors don’t do anything, and if you look closely, they are tattered and broken. That’s probably why?

There is a strategy, but it's very odd.
Simply only put on the mask when the animatronics come into the room. Remember phone guy's "Just put the mask on, one at a time" line?
That's because there's a bug in the code where if you put the mask on randomly when there isn't an animatronic in the room, the animatronic's pathing will be upset and you will most likely die no matter what you do to fend them off.
TL;DR only put on the mask exactly when an animatronic is in the room with you. If this doesn't help, well, that's mostly the fault of night 8 being held together with duct tape and popsticle sticks.
I think the return to Freddy's should of added other rooms like from fnaf 2

@TheImmortalSun the stradigy i would go for is to never use the monitors, it just makes the amatronics move faster, if you spam the camera, even if its the one you are on, you can get an amatronic in yourn office in 10 second in the night and die at 12Am

I think The Return To Freddy Stories is the best game.Tyler made the only thing.I don't like about it is because the voice actor he hired from the phone guy he doesn't know english at all
After knowing the story of Tyler (BFPF) this games kinda make me feel unsettling. They have an aura of depression, and "edgyness".
