Serval is taking a BATH

- Yo! This is an African serval, he is a wild cat, but he lives in our Russian house.
In this video, he climbed into our bathtub and tried to steal the plug, but we removed it. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
How is this serval more chill and composed than the little gremlins that live in my house, eat my food and occasionally sh!t in my slippers?
You have kids too?
@@justinnatasmai4503 lmaooo
These are smarter than your average house cat.
You have a husband too?
Oh, just let him get to know you.
I'm aware that this is a serval but taking a constant stream of water right to the noggin just to play with something that may or may not be in the drain is 10/10 Orange Tabby Energy.
Yes! It absolutely is!
Go crying somewhere else.
@@christianwolf1183 I'm sorry, but "crying"? I'm sorry to say, but whatever your intended meaning was has gone over my head. Would you mind explaining?

That is one beautiful cat. Love the head and the "paint-job". Nice temperament.
What a beautiful cat ! 🐈
Yea!”
Very beautiful cat. 👍

One of felines main evolutionary hurdles is the all consuming urge to bat things around. That and the lack of opposable thumbs.
It's also proof that the Earth isn't flat... If it was cats would have pushed everything over the edge by now....
Fun fact: due to servals being wild wild cats and being mostly undomesticated they actually aren't that afraid or nervous when it comes to water infact most cats like these are decent swimmers even leopards which are close cousins to servals
Edit:I should also add that the enviroments you would typically find servals in require them to not be afraid of water
Funner fact: housecats aren't afraid of water because they are domesticated. They have their origin from desert cats who happen to not like water. If they'd come from tigers house cats would be like Golden Retrievers who can never pass up a chance to get into the water even if that is a mud puddle. It's that simple.
Cats take dust-baths and clean themselves exactly like the desert cats they came from did.
Cats don't "hate" water, they hate the noise of faucets and being soaked.

im a cat person but i dont think im able to take care of hybrid serval(savannah) let alone serval 😅
@@godofhate4167 I have no use for people who don’t like cats. I have had people tell me they don’t like cats and I will stop talking midsentence and I won’t even acknowledge them anymore. If it were up to me I’d purge the earth of them.m Sounds crazy but I’m keeping it 💯
@@waltersobchak7275 Yea you cant be that judgmental though, everyone's different, some people need guide dogs because they are blind so they have no use for cats. I love these cats! I need one! 🥰😍
Ah Man, I would love to have one of them as a pet.
A part of my brain tells me, that it would be a terrible idea, because the can turn you in to ground meat in an instant.
Then the other part remembers how many people get to torn to shred by their own dogs, even though Dogs are not seen as dangerous, so I would take the risk^^
dude the upper end of body weight for a serval is like 40 lbs
you're a 200 lb monke
freaking act like it
you can unga bunga almost any animal
They would be fine I reckon if you had one from a kitten and you fed it regularly lol.
Im pretty sure serval's are domesticated
@@arzfan29 no they are not a domesticated animal. Whether one raised by humans could survive in the wild is another question though if in a good area for prey it is likely they would.
If they get turned by their dog either the dog's sick, hurt, very stressed (possible traumas), or they are terrible owners! Every single (and i mean them all. The idea that some breeds are agressive by nature and allways will be, is nonsense) breed of dog is domesticated and, if treated and raised well, will not "turn" or "snap" at anyone for simply no reason, unlike other wild animals.
I'm not sure that being a plummer will work out. don't give up your day job(dog trainer, see video). STILL most awesome serval on UA-cam. thanks for sharing the videos. :)

That’s so cute❤❤
Oh that cats huge I see now 😍
So beautiful

A very good camera. 👍
Love it. See now I want one. Thanks alot . Grrr
i fucking adore servals so much theyre so disproportionate
Depending on the breed, some cats love to be and play in water, others do not. Siamese, Norwegian Forest cats are ones that do get into water as that's what their environment dictates. Along with Servals. This kitten is just having fun with the tub chain!
If that cat goes to a cat fight i think i know who is gonna be the winner.
"so when are you gonna stop holding that camera and lather me with soap, and human sla- I mean mom?"
very handsome kitty
Handsome ? Drop Dead Fucking Gorgeous , you mean .
Beautiful cats. I've heard though that you can't really house train them. Will tend to make a mess or mark their area by spraying.
my god this cat is so big
Just playing in the water

If that cat got pissed and still had claws you wouldn’t love that cat so much. Have you ever been torn up by a regular house cat? If not catch a random cat and try and give it a bath with no gloves. Then imagine what a much bigger cat could do to you. Yeah they look cool on the video. But I’ll tell you this if it’s not trained it’ll wreck your whole house within a few days guaranteed!

😍😍😍😍😍😘😘❤️❤️😍😍
My cat is 25lbs.
He was born deep in the woods...I took my unfixed female over 300 km away from the nearest cat. She walked towards him, he walked towards her...someone in northern BC had a cervil cross cat ( the DNA tests on my cat - peanut - said he was 1/8th African wild cat, and mostly main coon...) he's a round, fat, loaf of a kitty because rabbits, mink, raccoons, voles and mice are plentiful where I worked. Peanut often would have to be harnessed to the boat, as he would dive into the streams while we put up the fence and pen to count the returning salmon ( I was a hatchery employee, and we needed to know how many salmon returned before we intervened, each tributary can only support so many salmon fry, so many smolt and so many fish.) Peanut would dive in, head first and return to the shore with a live fish in his mouth. He had no fear of water. He was the runt, I can't imagine how big his siblings were.
Peanut has fangs, they hang rather far out of his mouth. They are wider and thicker than most domestic cats. His claws are also longer, wider and stronger...
Where I live, Peanut is free to roam as there are no roaming laws. We have plenty of wildlife for him to feed on, but as he ages, and we have switched him to 100% raw meat diet, ( innards of grazers for greens and veggies) He hasn't touched any baby raccoons, baby bunnies, mink, Martin's or the adults, he hasn't raided any nesting birds nests or caught an hummingbirds since.
If you have wild cats that are free range kitties I suggest giving them a raw meat diet, changes everything. Besides, you ever see a cat stalk a ear of corn in the wild? Dried corn nuggest with sprayed on flavoring or that ground up tails and butts in a can isn't food either...increase your cats lifespan, go raw
_Smart cat, he wanted to close the water outlet!💜_
I’ve never seen a serval act so mellow!
I realize they’re very smart & curious, but I thought they’re, in general, viscious.
The kind of creature that would eat a shih tzu for breakfast. (I have a beautiful shih tzu named Izzie & I’d be very upset if my serval killed Izzie, who me & my husband love like a baby.)
I’ve thought about owning a serval, but haven’t taken the time to research them because of Izzie.
Any comments, please?
Cats > Dogs
Owning a serval is not like owning a cat. They are much more active and need more attention and stimulation. They’re very smart and more skiddish than aggressive (however they can be and they will definitely fuck you up a lot more than a house cat). You should not avidly try to own a serval as they are not pets… they’re wild animals and they belong in the wild. Some places might have servals that are not adjusted for life in the wild or have some sort of debilitation but otherwise let them be wild.
@@mariolisa2832 I don't have much math K N O W L E D G E so I don't know if you're a dog person or a cat person but I will say that prefer cats over dogs because the dogs that I have kinda ruined it for me on account of the fact that they bark at like 2am in morning and my cat doesn't.
