@@sunso1991 The reason he isn't a good fireteam leader is cause if you listen to a lot of his stories, he usually comes back from all his prior missions as the sole survivor, giving you the clue that he's not good at leading a squad.

2:32 My first time hearing this track I was (Heroicly) running away from a shit ton of the clankers with the chainsaw hands. My pump shotgun synced up so well with each trumpet, as well as the automatons getting knocked back, falling apart or getting cleaved in half by the shots gave me a hell of a rush. On top of that I then had to run (Heroicly) from the mortar blasts of a sentry. I've never felt so immersed in a horde shooter before.
@@cosmic3077 So we basically got to wait untill the Composer and Devs release an "Official" composition if we really want a full quality OST. Till then stitched together clips and loops guestimated by fans or recordings directly from the game are all we have.
Don’t you worry fellow diver I’ve been doing the same! Had to blend quite a few different clips together to get it sounding right as the game audio is programmed to dip down anytime a voice line is played! Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
POV: You have all the samples and are halfway across the map, two teammates went to deal with the last large automaton outpost you all left behind because you only had 3 reinforcements left, and the fourth called extraction way too early and just died, and now the extraction site is its own automaton outpost.

I was the last one alive in my squad, surrounded and chased by a hundred bugs, out of stims, no resupply available, no reinforcements, and being chased by 3 chargers. Jammed out to this track while sprinting and dodging for the longest 2 minutes of my life. Made it to the shuttle 2 seconds before it left.
When you notice the extract is taking unusually long and then you realize you still got at least two more minutes of absolute hell left. Thank you Complex Stratagem Plotting, I love holding out against the mounting hordes way beyond what should be possible
very epic tho, and if you survive, you just won against insurmountable odds. I still vividly remember my fight on the Creek to evac safely with my buddies and the samples.

The soundtracks in this game contribute so much more to how I actually feel in the moment than I realise. That feeling of having to lock in for that 1-2 minute extract is only as intense as it is because of this banger soundtrack
I will never forget the time my squad were running out of time and we had old CSP with a 4 minute extraction time. Release Helldive difficulty, with this music blaring on our final possible stand against the bugs. Time to extract was 4 minutes but we had 3 minutes left on the clock. It's been a long while since I last felt an adrenaline rush playing a game, but Helldivers has done that well.
POV: "Extraction T - 3 minutes" no reinforcements, last one, super helldive, you have most of the samples, 10 titan, 2 impalers, 7 charger, 10000 hunters. Fun right😅
Absolute banger of an extract theme My favorite part is definitely the first 10 seconds that plays everytime Such a short part but really sets the tone that some shit is about to go down. Gets even better with the higher the difficulty. Really gets the blood flowing

Ah, the moment I usually get shot while I am trying to get into the shuttle and robbed of the samples I collected by the team mate, that was constantly trying to kill me the whole match.
The game engine plays the sounds in dynamic loops, i could make a version with an extended intro but id have to know for certain which parts you mean as it varies each time?
Not a music guy so forgive me for my lack of technical terms. So the opening notes that descend went once. Then it's followed by the high repeated note, and the echo of the repeated note down in the lows. Both of those play twice instead of once when you're in a quiet area for extraction (ie your buddies extracted and you're sprinting towards it from halfway accross the map) That high and low repeated note call/response thing is just really cool to me, and it only happens at the begining of extraction. Once normally, or twice when it's quiet for extract.
At 4:11 i got this feeling when you out of time all team wiped, you surrounded by hulks, annihilators and many MANY other bot types that just juggle with you, and somehow this ragdolling mess stops for a moment, you take apportunity and rush at pelican-1 using your last stim and leave this doomed place, to do all of this again after 45 minutes.
"Our destroyers have left orbit, we're running low on ammo, and the bots have seen fit to throw everything they have at us, with Hulks, Tanks and Factory Striders all coming for us amidst the hordes of Devastators and Berserkers. Part of it could be the kernel-level AntiCheat they use. Tends to make any level of tampering/extracting of hidden game files harder.
it’s because the track is actually dynamic, reacting to your in game status, so it’s made up of like 20-30 second clips in the files
