I never miss any of your videos! It's like the Model X encyclopedia.. Finally, I got my X, the only differencee from yours, is that the new ones have tilting screen capability. Yesterday I rewatch the screen protector video, very helpful! Thank you for all the amazing content.
Hi Fernando. Im so happy that you finally received the X. Do you like the tilting screen? I made these videos for people like us that are new to the X. Im glad they help!
Hi Mario. Thanks for supporting the channel. I meant to upload this last week but had to manage a few other thing. Thanks great comment and for watching!
I received last week and Ops Checked it at a nearby EA station. As expected I had trouble with one of the 4 stalls. After calling the posted 1-800 number the nice lady confirmed a problem with that stall, so I moved to another stall (a 350 kWH station) and with a 58% SOC my 2020 Model Y pulled a solid 94 kWH. After a few minutes and drove 1/4 mile to a V3 SCer and got 90 kWH. So all in all a successful test. But given one stall was Out of Order or 25% it’s clear EA still has some work to do.
Hi Thomas. Im sure with time the charging kinks will all get worked out. I love having this adapter as an added option when doing a road trip. The super charging network is amazing but it doesn't hurt to have an add option to your charging repertoire. 😀
Thanks for the video. I got my CCS adapter about 5 days ago. I got my model X a month ago. My X was manufactured in March. I couldn’t get a charging session started. Not sure what the problem was. Couldn’t try another charging stall. Will try again at a later date. The closest CCS charger is 50 miles away. My charge indicator is like the model Y and the charge door is different. Don’t think that would have anything to do with it not connecting though.
Hi David. I dont know why it isn't connecting. Did you double check that your X is CCS enabled? It may or may be depending on whether or not you software is updated. Please keep me posted.
Hi Drew. No problem. You're the one that gave me the idea to go to that charging site. We're going to the Tesla ice cream meet up this weekend in Batavia.
Hi Adolfo. Sorry for the confusion. This adapter was purchased form Harum.io which is the website where this adapter is being sold. They are the shipper. Tesla was or once had them in stock and sold out. I went on youtube and researched this product with other Tesla owners which is why I purchased and wanted to test out for the channel and for upcoming drive as an alternative to the Tesla Super Charging Network.
Charging at public chargers is a mess like cell phone carriers were in the early days. Eventually cell phone carriers all over the world had reciprocity agreements so you didn't have to have an account on every service to travel around with your phone. Car charging needs the exact same system. Having an account on every charging network just isn't going to work, it has to get easier. If we can't get to "plug and charge" we at least need a way to pay as a "guest". Maybe PayPal could be accepted at all chargers.
Hi Frank. I just recently read that Tesla was going to allow other EV owners to access the Tesla super chargers and that the Government was going to get involved to make some sort of universal charging network. Not sure how that will work but at least more people are getting involved and hopefully in the near future we won't have to create different accounts for charging when on a road trip or if you just want to access the super charging network. Thanks for the great comment and for watching!
Hi Kevin. I think electrify america has a monthly membership that lowers the cost of charging per kWh. I didn't join but its still good option to haver when doing a long trip.

I’m confused, is this a Tesla adapter from Tesla South Korea?
Huriomo is the buyer/shipper, isn’t it?
Huriomo is not the manufacturer.

Excellent
Hi Michael. Thanks so much for the great feedback and for watching!
Are you charging at home?
Sorry for late response. Yes we use the wall charger that an electrician installed.
No such thing as Romeo CCS adapter.
