That wonderful declaration of love from Eren to Mikasa, which would have wrapped his scarf forever and in the end even in death through her cock fixes it for him to make him understand that he will always take care of her. The meaning of flowers where Isayama was a master, in AOT there were no I love yous, romantic hugs or kisses, the looks, the words and the flowers were enough.
