I only use Jamila henna since 2008. Had blonde hair. Now have beautiful red.
Okay I have a fun question: what if I took a 3rd of each type of henna and mixed together what might be the outcome? 🤔 Thanks for the continued great information
I didn't know there was a difference in the different Henna powders. This is important information.
So glad this helped :)
I’m trying the Jamila out for the first time right now! I usually either use the Red Raj or Moroccan henna but I wanted to try something different this time. The difference in the color of the powder really threw me for a loop! Lol I thought I had ruined it even though I knew my water wasn’t too hot because it was already brown and even after letting the dye release for 3 hours I couldn’t see the color pooling like usual! The consistency is absolutely beautiful and so easy to work with! ZERO mess to clean up after which is a first lol I still have another couple hours of letting it process but am so excited to see the results!
Thanks so much for this demo. I've consistently used henna for grey coverage for the last 9 years, and have only purchased BAQ Jamila summer crop. A few times I've considered switching to red raj. This video has been helpful in seeing them next to each other.
Glad it was helpful!
Glad I saw this video. I have always only used Jamila and glad I can now buy it from henna Sooq ❤
A henna that shares my name. Count me in!
Yasss!!
I’m a beginner. My hair is greying I had alopecia so was scared to use any dye on my hair but I’ll try this, fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Let us know how it turns out :)
Hello, thank you for your video and informations! I have henna from Aswan, Egypt but I can't figure out how to use it for tattoo as it get quite "granulated". Any advice?
Hello. You can refer to this video to help you along the way: ua-cam.com/video/8n0AZYOK0Fw/v-deo.html
Hi, I used a Moroccan henna powder today and it did absolutely nothing to my hair in terms of colour. I'm really upset about about it and I hope someone can give me some advice.
So what I did- I mixed the powder with warm water, let it sit in a warm place for 3hrs. I shampooed my hair and let it dry a bit, applied the henna and wrapped it up in 3 bags and a beanie. I left it in for 3.5hrs and rinsed it out in warm water. Blow dried a little then let it air dry. Colour did nothing at all😢
I would LOVE to get that burgundy tones, but I have been using rajasthani for years and NEVER gotten anything close to that burgundy tone. 😢 I have tried everything, including your recipe. Do you have any new suggestions?
Hello. We recommend our Organic Rajasthani Indian henna powder. With repeated applications it’ll build up to a gorgeous burgundy tint. hennasooq.com/products/fresh-organic-rajasthani-indian-henna-powder?_pos=1&_psq=rajast&_ss=e&_v=1.0
But the Jamillia Hannah powder from HS and
while it came in the HS packaging it was still in the Jamelia packaging which was inside of that. It was not loose in the package as it seems that you are portraying that it is. Is there a difference in that and what is the reason that it did not come loose but rather in their packaging?
Hello! We do buy from the Jamila farm in Pakistan since 2005. They allowed us to brand package the henna we get from them and in order to fit it well into our own pouch packaging, we have to allow them to use the inner foil to keep it all together as one without waste as it is very fine. This has always been a henna we carry and it is a brand collaboration with the Jamila farm. We hope this helps.
Is Jamila the best formula for natural red? I currently have light orange hair and want a more natural red tone. I just pre-ordered 2 packets of Jamila! I want the cottagecore red hair that the girls have on tiktok 😅
Yes Jamila is a great choice and washes out really easily too. So creamy!
Hello, my hair is very black, what color will my hair usually be after the application of Jamila? I’d love it to turn brown or red as well, but even any color would be interesting, thanks
It'll be a pop of red tint in your dark hair. With repeated applications it will deepen over time.
I used to be able to get a burgundy tone with the Indian Rajasthani henna but this last time I used it, my hair turned out very coppery 😢. I wonder if that happened because it's been about a year since I last used henna to color my hair. I hope it wasn't because the wrong henna is in the wrong packaging😅
Hello. It’s typically the indigo that reduces the copper tone. Using enough indigo will make it more brown, dark brown and even up to black tones.
@@HennaSooq thank you for your response. I don't think you understood my comment. I used to get a burgundy tone with just the Indian Rajasthani henna, no indigo added. I'm not interested in brown or black. I just didn't understand why the results were more orangy than in previous applications of the same product. I hope that makes sense.
@wandah03 Very true, I'm getting the same with this henna now it's what I've used for many years only. My hair is orange forcing me to use indigo.
@@sunnijames2802 it seems that repeat application will do the trick. In my case, I had a year's worth of gray growth and then applied the Indian Rajasthani henna and it came out coppery/orangie, but then I applied a henna gloss with the leftover henna mix from the previous application and THEN it turn the burgundy I expected. So repeated application I guess is the answer, not indigo. I hope that helps.
Hello, is there any products I can use for blond hair?
Hello. We recommend our Organic Cassia: hennasooq.com/collections/blonde-henna-hair-dye
Hello, thank you for the video. The question that I have is, can you use cassia and indigo for darkening grays? Not henna, but cassia? If not, then which one out of the 3 is BEST for gray hair coverage?
Hello
I don’t know what color you are looking to achieve but I recently purchased their Indian Rajasthani powder and it dyed my grays a nice burgundy color.
@@marquitahammock6603Hello, I was looking for any dark color I can get, lol!
I know indigo assists in darkening grays, and cassia produces no color change. I might have to just look up the information on the web.
Are you African-American? I have kinky hair texture.
Thank you!😊
@@marquitahammock6603I just saw a shorts video answering my question already, lol!
@@marianb2530 Yes, I am African-American and my hair texture is similar.
Is Morocco henna available in Pakistan
Hello. Yes we ship worldwide.
