It's been only 3 days and this video has hit 81k!!!!! This is amazing. Thank you all so much xo xo xo. When are you coming to our space?! Our Grand Opening in Columbia, Maryland is set for January 27-28th. Can't wait to see you all again. I need BIG HUGS!! (if you need to reach us please head to our website www.hennasooq.com and click our LIVE CHAT for more details and any questions you might have).
Agreed. I've been in salons where the stylist said in front of others how bad my ends looked or your hair is this or that. More etiquette and respect would be nice. Nice of Hennasooq to provide a place for ladies to have privacy for their needs.👌
I was a die hard Camille Rose user and now I'm adding your products into my regimen. I'm using Henna to cover my grays and it's fabulous but I not really feeling the copper grays although my friends says it pretty, so I'm going to add the indigo to darken. The Casia and Neem hair wash is amazing and I follow with the sweet honey nurisher. I have 4c high porosity hair so it takes a few applications to appreciate the results but I can say that I have less shedding, my strands appear stronger and I've retained length. I have all of the products you've mentioned and I'm going to nail down a solid regimen and give you an update in 3 months. Thank you Khadija
You don’t even know how happy this makes me to read this 🥰 I’m so happy to hear!!! Yaassss get it in and also we’re more then likely starting our next 6 week hair challenge in about 4 weeks. Stay tuned!
O wow your the first 4c lady I’ve met with high porosity her beside myself with type 4hair Henna really helped me my hair loves it 😂 to I am going for copper color I like the copper what would be grays
My hair goals are to go back to my weekly mask routine. They really keep my scalp and follicles so healthy. I also plan to use fenugreek with every hair mask.
I would love a scalp care challenge and a hair growth and thickening challenge!! I have a Sukesh gloss in my hair right now! Dealing with post menopausal hair.
I would love to have an anti-shedding protective ends hair challenge. It seems like my hair is always experiencing massive shedding and preventing my hair growth to be a positive experience for me. Especially now that it's winter time in MD and I can get away with serious protective styling.
That sounds like an amazing part of what we could include in the next hair challenge. Hope you'll be coming by for our Grand Opening weekend which starts with ribbon cutting at 10am January 27th and will run till January 28th.
Can you get some hair models or share videos of those whom you work on at your salon? People with different hair types would be so helpful to be able watch.
I used to get split ends all the time. After using henna I have not a one split end! It's amazing how much henna protects and keeps hair so soft. I'm focusing on hair growth this year.🙂

I love your tips, products and DIY suggestions. I was buying all my henna and Indigo and shampoo from you but my last order of soap nut shampoo bar several months ago never came. I spoke with customer service and they told me to contact my post office and get back to them which I did. I even made a trip to my post office and they never received it. So about 3 months ago I decided to get my hair bleached white-wheat blond 😮 I had not had my hair colored since I went natural back in 2006! Now, it’s been about 4 months, my ends are drier than a Sahara Desert, and my length is about 3 inches in some places, and 2 inches in other places. I chopped my hair off and went to the white-wheat blond after I got sick with the C-19 😷 back in 2019. So, my hair is thin in the middle of my head. Yep, so I need help, Khadijah!
oohhh yes to this!!! Cool thing we got all of those products too! Except for the bar but we have fruit water right in our retail and salon space ready for you all!
How about something that helps those of us dealing with hormonal issues because of menopause we need to be checked on ❤. OK I need to be checked on LOL. I am having temple issues where my hair is breaking off only in my temples and it’s thinning. Using Amla right now that is helping , taking my vitamins and all this is helping. But to have a regiment that is there to boost or off set the internal issues we don’t always have control over.
Have you looked into the videos I have on thinning hair? And this category has a lot of recommended products and regimen plans: hennasooq.com/collections/fine-thin-hair this would be a good start
You are awesome! Since menopause, my oily hair has become drier and I seem to have more breakage and fallout. It’s still pretty thick but I’m trying to grow out my hair to hip length and have strong healthful strands. Not easy with post menopausal hair. (Type 1B hair) my hair is currently bra Strap length. I love the video about amla powder and want more info on fenugreek topical treatment for hair.

Hello. Yes absolutely. If you go to our UA-cam channel: www.youtube.com/@HennaSooq you can do strengthening treatments with henna to help you achieve those goals. Avoid using many amlas or Zizyphus powders as those tighten curls.
How often should you trim your hair with Henna in it? I'm trying to get long hair and I've heard to trim the hair once a month to prevent split ends but shouldn't henna pretty much protect you from most split ends?
Depending on how bad your damage is. If it's real bad, chop it & start fresh. Otherwise like the other reply says 1 a mo. Is too much you'll never see growth. You'll only be maintaining the same length
I used to have hip-length hair and hennaed it with a high-quality henna. Then I got stupid and dyed it over the henna = ruin. Cut it all off and have been dyeing it blondish for many years. Now I'm growing it out (it's now 3" longer than my shoulders) and have new hair coming in. My hair is pretty straight and on the fine side. So, I have the fun challenge of having oily hair on top and dry hair on the rest. I've been using chickpea flour for a wash for a month, followed by Rosemary water rinse that I leave in. The chickpea dries out my oiliness, but I'm not seeing much help for the lower hair. I have tried using oils and butters on the lower hair, but they don't seem to do much, except make my hair look greasy. I'l love to try a hair challenge that will help my lower hair (about to try cassia for the first time today as a conditioner) while growing out and strengthening all of my hair. So in short: growth AND conditioning, without having to try every product that exists. Some regimen that is simple-ish and won't break the bank. Thank you so much.
Welcome! Thank you for sharing too. Yes I get it and I was just about to say, try cassia. We have a few all in ones as well like our Cassia Mask and Zizyphus Mask as well is amazing! Make sure to use really good growth herbs like Amla and fenugreek in your regimen including Goddess Hair and Sukesh Ayurveda. Those are easy to do and simple every 1-2 weeks. I hope this helps
I'm up for any challenge. I also really need to do one on one with you I have so much stuff I need to start using them . I'm also definitely going to get that e journal.
Hello, I am a African American woman 58 years old with soft micro locs. My hair has gray in it. I would like to know if you have dye products for my type of hair.
Darn I’ll be in the Columbia area tomorrow. I thought the store was open. I guess I’ll make the trek down there some other time. Definitely want to check it out the next time I’m in the area. About to put some henna in my hair now but I need some indigo.
What do you recommend for thinning edges around the head? I have Sisterlock appear from my edges the other parts of my hair is ok. I am 2 years postpartum and I need help. I would appreciate if you could direct me in the right directions. Thank you so much.
I dye my hair with your henna hair products. How do I incorporate the time when I need to dye my hair into these hair regimens? Also, can I continously do these regimens back to back? Or should I wait a while before starting another six week regimen?
Hello. You can place it in the fridge for 5-7 days. Please use within 7 days of being made (if kept in the fridge). If you have any leftovers you can freezer for up to 6 months
Helping my bald spot on my crown which is alopecia. How I got it is a very long story. I know some of it came from using chemicals to straighten my hair but when my hair fell out unfortunately that came from the so called professionals trying to cut costs they used outdoor pesticides. So my whole body was poisoned and of course, this affected my hair which fell out not once but twice. I'm doing everything the natural way from acupuncture, herbs, exercising, lots of watercress veggies, and eating correctly and taking vitamins. By doing this my body is doing great but that one annoying crown area of my hair needs help. Yes, I've been making my own natural hair care products and recipes along with using your Henna Sooq, Curly Proverbs, etc. But this one area is growing like a snail so I'm wondering what else can I do please any ideas?
I love your products Khadija. I use the Henna Sooq organic Amla powder and it's amazing! Dying to try more stuff but find it hard to get in the UK. Is there an easy way to ship without high shipping costs, please? xxx
To determine a person's hair thickness? Is this what you mean? You want to determine the thickness of your hair. Honestly the best way to do this is to have a professional look at your hair and let you know if you're unsure. You can book a virtual consult with me here if you can't find someone locally: hennasooq.com/pages/bookings
@@HennaSooq I wanted suggestion of herbs or products to achieve thick hair. I purchased the Zizyphus + Moringa Hair Mask to help. I live in Baltimore, do you have a shop locally?
❤Hair goals length retention my hair does not like protective styles scalp sweats when wrapped or when hair is packed together. It grows better when free but so I use silk/satin pillow cases I will protect from sun more tho
Hi Honey!! How are you? I love satin pillow cases. It's been a game changer for sure. So happy your hair is responding well to henna and herbs. Do you have any favorites?
What herbs do you recommend someone use to help heal heat damage? I got a silk press and a trim about two months ago, and I still have straight strands in the front and the back of my hair.
Hello. Heat damage is hard to repair and we recommend you allow it to grow out and slowly trim away. In the meantime there is some maintenance that can help through the use of a steamer and our deep conditioning products. Our Moroccan Argan Serum is also amazing at hydrating the hair, repair and protecting the hair strands. You may want to also use our restorative mask. hennasooq.com/products/argan-oil-serum?_pos=1&_psq=argan%20&_ss=e&_v=1.0 hennasooq.com/products/hibiscus-restorative-hair-mask?_pos=1&_psq=res&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Love your products. I have a condition that like a seborrheic dermatitis due to the use of chemical relaxers in my youth. I was allergic and I would develop this seborrheic dermatitis in spots that made my hair fall out. My dermatologist insisted I go chemical free, including hair dye. I've been chemical free for over 20 years now, but I still have a dry, scaly, itchy place at the base of my scalp, remnants from relaxers according to my dermatologist. I've tried prescription shampoo (which dried my hair terribly as I have mixed afro-textured hair), and steroid gels. They would only work for a short while. Are there any ayurvedic treatment remedies I can use to alleviate this problem and repair my scalp?
Aloe Vera powder for healing. Neem powder for inflammation. Amla powder mixed with rosemary tea for regrowth (if that’s still possible). If the pastes are too cumbersome, use the powders to make a tea rinse, which you can also add to your deep conditioners. Tea rinse after your shampoo.
@@deborahm9393 Neem and aloe can be used weekly. Amla has a strengthening component, so I would see how your hair and scalp responds to doing it every two weeks. The key is to focus it mostly on your scalp because that’s where your condition is. Like you’re doing relaxer touch up. I don’t know the state of your hair (if you’re still transitioning or getting used to your natural hair), but I wouldn’t apply the treatments to all of your hair week to week. Once a month with all 3 powders mixed with conditioner for your entire hair length is really fine.
@@denyshadials5702 I've been natural for over 20 yrs and I've been using an expensive prescription shampoo, which severely dries out my hair, and a steroid gel who's price went from $45.00 to almost $200.00 with only transient results. Thank you for your recommendation 👍🏽. I'll give it a try.
Hello! We recommend these products to start with: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-growth and this regimen plan to start: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-growth/products/ayurvedic-hair-strength-and-growth-6-week-regimen. We hope this helps!
Henna definitely works well to seal and lock in ends, but do you only want to apply a mask on the ends or all over your hair. If you don't want something coloring you could also use Cassia.
@@HennaSooq thank you. Ive been using cassia and will probably use your Henna too. Cassia does leave my hair a bit dry so Ill add some things to make it more conditioning.
Pausing the video to comment... You might mention this, but I didn't want to wait til the end and forget. You can make a henna infusion with oil. You get the benefits of the henna, but it doesn't color your hair. I've been making a hair oil and it has henna in it. It never colored my blond hair. Now, I'm actually coloring with henna, so it doesn't matter. LOL!
Just purchased the strength and growth regimen! But in the mean time I am using Amla oil with the fenugreek kind of just chilling at the bottom at room temp. Do you have to heat the oil and fenugreek spice in order to infuse this beautiful mixture together?
I have a question. How long can Henna last in powder form and still be effective? I have some 11 year old henna that I have kept refrigerated for the duration. I still use it. It still colors my grays a lovely saffron/red color. Also if I am not wearing gloves my hands too.
Usually henna powder lasts up to 3 years. Ideally it's most potent within the first year, like spices. It won't go rancid but it just gets old over time.
Happy New Year! Love this and a lot of people are talking about thickness to their strands. Definitely in the meantime, use our Zizyphus products: hennasooq.com/collections/fine-thin-hair
I want to retain my length, and grow it past my knees. Is it possible to use henna powder strictly for hair growth purposes without necessarily being worried about the color?
I don't mind the reddish color I'm more concerned about reaching my desired length. Mind you I know that I probably won't see that for a long time from now. Lol.
Hello. No, we don't. We’d recommend for black tones you do a two step process with henna and indigo. Try these steps: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/complete-guide-how-to-color-your-hair-with-henna-and-indigo/ hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/stubborn-greys-black-hair-how-to-make-indigo-work-for-your-resistant-hair?_pos=1&_sid=7ed852a17&_ss=r

I enjoyed your video thank you you are Wonderful I really would like your hands to henna my hair and treat it you are gifted.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me. Doing people's hair is a gift.
Hello. Please use this treatment ua-cam.com/video/oRX89OwCA6o/v-deo.html regularly every 1-2 weeks.
I am here for it, cannot wait to come ny the new store😍😍😍
Is there an easy way to ship without high shipping costs, please? xxx
Will you have a guide for hair thickness?
To determine a person's hair thickness? Is this what you mean? You want to determine the thickness of your hair. Honestly the best way to do this is to have a professional look at your hair and let you know if you're unsure. You can book a virtual consult with me here if you can't find someone locally: hennasooq.com/pages/bookings
@@HennaSooq I wanted suggestion of herbs or products to achieve thick hair. I purchased the Zizyphus + Moringa Hair Mask to help. I live in Baltimore, do you have a shop locally?
I would definitely like to participate in a challenge to make the hairline surrounding my face to become fuller. My hairline is thinning with age. 😊
I would like a strength/moisture balance growth challenge.
Oh yes then you're going to love our hair challenge coming up in February!! So exciting! It's gonna be amazing.
Wonderful! Ill stay tuned so I can start on day 1 this time !
Strength and Moisture
Oohhh yes!! Then you'd love our Henna + Gloss Hair Mask, for sure.
Hiii!! Thanks a lot for sharing this video.
Do you have any video on black cumin seeds for hair?
What herbs do you recommend someone use to help heal heat damage? I got a silk press and a trim about two months ago, and I still have straight strands in the front and the back of my hair.
Hello. Heat damage is hard to repair and we recommend you allow it to grow out and slowly trim away. In the meantime there is some maintenance that can help through the use of a steamer and our deep conditioning products. Our Moroccan Argan Serum is also amazing at hydrating the hair, repair and protecting the hair strands. You may want to also use our restorative mask. hennasooq.com/products/argan-oil-serum?_pos=1&_psq=argan%20&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Hi i am so Grateful for your UA-cam channel. i have very Damage natural and thin hair what can i do 😭😭😭 help me pleaseeee
I am the same also want to know ?
Aloe Vera powder for healing. Neem powder for inflammation. Amla powder mixed with rosemary tea for regrowth (if that’s still possible).
If the pastes are too cumbersome, use the powders to make a tea rinse, which you can also add to your deep conditioners. Tea rinse after your shampoo.
@@denyshadials5702 thank you so much for the information. How often would you suggest I use this treatment to begin?
@@deborahm9393
Neem and aloe can be used weekly.
I would love you to create a henna indigo grey coverage spray
Love your channel! Thank you so much! 💞
Really need help I would like to start using henna for my hair dye. However, I’m allergic to aloe vera
Can you get a silk press after using henna. I’m a newbie🎉
I have sisterlock with grey that I need to color. I can’t use oils and moisturizer. Suggestion please waiting for The Raj henna
Amla
Fenugreek
Aloe vera powder
Henna
Yes !!! :)
i want to stop using minoxidol. what can i use to stop the breakage when it starts to break off?
Hello! We recommend these products to start with: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-growth and this regimen plan to start: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-growth/products/ayurvedic-hair-strength-and-growth-6-week-regimen. We hope this helps!
Do you have a video on best treatments for strengthening the ends and preventing splits?
Henna definitely works well to seal and lock in ends, but do you only want to apply a mask on the ends or all over your hair. If you don't want something coloring you could also use Cassia.
@@HennaSooq thank you. Ive been using cassia and will probably use your Henna too. Cassia does leave my hair a bit dry so Ill add some things to make it more conditioning.
Happy New Year, Khadija!! Sny advice on how to prep hair before a trim? Also, the frequency of applying heat to hair?
Please forward your website to place orders. Thank you.
Absolutely. We're at www.hennasooq.com. Thank you!!
Hello yes you can heat it a little and then let it sit and infused at room temperature as well.
Will your Columbia shop be easily accessible from Washington by Metro and/ or WMATA public transport?? Thank you.
hi I'm wanting to use henna on my hair but scared if my grey hairs turn orange can u plz tell me what to do so it doesn't happen thank you
Happy New Year. I would love to grow my hair pass bra strap. Thickness more thickness.
Lol.
Can this product be used on African American hair
Absolutely.
Follow on instagram you’ll see plenty influencers of color.
Please tell us how to dye black hair. Henna plus indigo right? Do you sell black henna
Hello. No, we don't. We’d recommend for black tones you do a two step process with henna and indigo. Try these steps: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/complete-guide-how-to-color-your-hair-with-henna-and-indigo/

I would like to do a chebe hair challenge.
Where I am in the UK, they have a movable curtain thing that allows complete privacy for anyone that wants it. I don't see why all salons don't have them.
Can Henna be used safely on Locks? Residue in locks seems like a possible issue.
Hello. Yes, it can safely be used on locks.
Hello this is my first time seeing your video. I love the things that I learned about Ayurvedic hair care. I want to enter the challenge. I want hair growth and retention. Please help.😊
First time that I have seen this .HELP PLEASE
I’m confused with which henna product to use to prevent split ends
Hello! Henna in general prevents split ends with regular use every 4-6 weeks. Do you want color or not also, do you need a more moisturizing treatment?
Please I would like to buy dark hair color and something that would help stop sheding
Hello. You can check our henna hair dye collection: hennasooq.com/collections/henna-hair-dye-color. For Moroccan rosewater reduces breakage and shedding: hennasooq.com/products/moroccan-rose-water
Henna sooq have root cover in chemical free.....
Hei my hair is so hard it has coils and the bad thing is that it doesn't grow since 2021 till now I have the same length what should I do in order to grow my hair
Hi Trish definitely a regimen plan that helps you retain length and keeps your hair moisturized. I would highly recommend this regimen plan: hennasooq.com/products/the-dry-hair-antidote-dry-hair-to-moisturized-curls
I know this video is 2 months old, but I’d like more info in hair regrowth after loss from thyroid issues. My thyroid was removed 5 years ago but I was only put on thyroid meds about a year ago. My hairline receded back about 2” all the way around my head. It appears to be regrowing but is very thin. I’d like to regrow my hairline thicker and faster. My hair is 1B and 1-2” below BSL.
I have thyroid so i am getting bold from my crown area. Hair falling like crazy so upset plz help me
Oh sorry to hear this is happening. Other then your keeping yourself healthy and under a doctor's care, you can start with these hair masks and do treatments every 1-2 weeks to maintain and increase your hair's health and thickness along with promoting hair growth: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-growth
