- Here's a kit that I had built in my late teens and was destroyed by a family cat. I always enjoyed this one and always wanted another go. I originally decided to not use the Biker Scout, but then figured I would do some modifications which will be shown in another video.
Intro music is Cosmic Messages and is a royalty free download which can be found here:

Coolest SW model ever! I built this shortly after I saw ROTJ and it was my favorite for many years.
I have always wanted to get another and paint it up in a different color scheme. Love these bikes!

I built this recently...was a stark reminder - after years of building modern/quality kits - just how shoddy these kits were. I spent more time making the scout halves fit together nicely than I usually take building a whole kit :D
Yeah, they've come a long way! So have I! 😂😂😂 -John
I had this as kid my dad made it for me he did an amazing job....loved this model sadly over time with me flying it around at low level as kid I wrecked it !
Bike turned out awesome
Thank you so much!

amazing job!!! excellent paint work.. how did you do the sound effects? any tutorial? thanks in advanced!
Hey thanks! That project seems like it was so long ago! The sound effects were downloaded into a sound chip used for greeting cards and attached to the base.

Looks AWESOME! Was hoping you could elaborate on how you did the hammered aluminum look in the engine as well as the metal effect for the base layer of the body. Thanks!!!
Sure! The hammered aluminum look was made by stippling some nuln oil on top of the lead belcher. Easy technique but I love the results. Lead belcher was the color of the steel if the main body before adding a layer of chipping fluid and then the Vallejo flat earth. Then it's just a case of adding some water to areas you want to weather to reactivate the chipping fluid underneath. From there it was finished with some pastels for the exhaust.
My first video! Wow, it seems like forever ago when I made it. I appreciate the kind words!

Hey mate great build, what colour did you paint the speeder bike, keep up the great work
I believe that was flat earth from Vallejo. Thanks!
