    Just one question: wouldn't it have been easier to paint all the basic colours onto the jaguar first instead of painting around the spots - just like you did with the turtle? I'm sure there is a good reason why you chose this approach, so I would just like to know why. Have great day! 🙂❤

      I've definitely tried both methods. I have found both to be useful, but I lean towards this one most of the time. Use what works for you!

    So helpful. I really want to venture out into adding other colors in my animals instead of just real life. Hopefully I'll get some time to do some exotic animals and not just custom pet portaits so i can do that. :) thanks Lauren!

      I'd love to see that! I say venture out Sue, you might just surprise yourself. I used to loath painting cats AND wild cats, now I'm very much hooked on painting them in full color.
