    OP should have told Tina as soon as he found out. Knowing me as I do, I probably would have told Dad "OK, I won't tell Tina." and then I'd have proceeded to post it on every form of social media I could find. At the hotel, I'd have told them "I'm not the one with something to apologize for." I also would have agreed to testify at the custody hearing, then told the judge everything that went on.

    I would have agreed to testify in court. Agreed to going against Tina. Then when they leave, I'd message Tina (so she had it in writing) that I was approached by them and that I agreed but that I would be testifying on her behalf. Tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Explain how they came to me and explain what they wanted on the stand in front of the judge. 🤷🏾‍♀️

    "We care about our appearances" so why side with the cheater? Like what looks worse, siding with the cheater and trhing to cover it all up, or helping those whl got cheated on? Well cant expect an cheater, the one who took the cheater back, and the cheating child to think rationally.
    Something else... if you got a half brother like Jerry job wise, and in this position where ye is trying to get ypu to lie in court, try to get money money off of him. And do it verbally, so they dont have the easiest path to sue. Then ignore them and tell the truth on stand. End it all off by not talking to them again.

    Wow I get people cheating when they fall out of love, well not really get it like why not just break up first, but saying yes to marriage and cheating that same day is a different kind of evil.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see Tina coming onto OP. I mean, he's a younger, more honest version of her ex-husband, so quite possibly shows a more genuine version of the positive traits that drew her to the ex. I've also heard a story where a guy gets cheated on by his then-wife, only to rebound to her sister as the dust settles, so I can't help but see the same thing happening here, especially if OP is a positive fatherly figure for his nephew.

    So OP’s dad and bro came up with a plan to convince OP to go to court and give false testimony about SIL. Then they approached OP to do it. So we have multiple people conspiring to commit an actual crime and then at least one of those people taking action towards that end. Even if the actual original crime doesn’t get committed, those two people are now guilty of conspiracy to commit perjury. Divorce is a civil matter, so I’m not sure if Obstruction of Justice applies. But since there’s a potential financial outcome to this case, lying in support of it is probably fraud. And conspiracy to commit fraud. And OP has the receipts. And Jerry cannot get custody of his child while he’s in prison for his crimes.
