Yes, thank you! It's not a Shirley Temple without the orange juice at least! If you'd rather switch and make a Rob Roy, substitute the lemon lime soda with a cola.
Espresso+Orange juice+Ice is called Bumble where I am from. They serve it everywhere in summer. First you put ice in a glass, then pour juice over it, then a shot of espresso. Sometimes you put caramel syrop on the bottom of the glass if you like a sweeter drink. The drink looks like the stripes of a bumble bee, it's very pretty. The ratio of juice to espresso is 2/1. So my husband was a barista at Starbucks for 6 years, and coffee and orange juice is something they used to do with new people because it’s one of those “It can’t possibly work” things. He told me the key to having it taste okay, or even good, is you need a coffee with a really high acidity. He says that the coffees that the orange juice will go best with are African in origin because they tend to have a higher acidity in their profile. Matching coffee to what you’re mixing it with is super important to having them taste good.
To help Chris and anyone else understand. I am from Utah, and I am in fact LDS, Mormon, Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, however you’ve heard it called, we as members have been asked to not consume specific drinks that have known to be harmful to the body. So that’s why there are so many soda shops around. For us and our culture, mixed sodas are the same as mixed coffee drinks. :) hope this helps :)
I actually love using jam for cocktails! Just shake it in a cocktal shaker with ice and it dissolves well, so you could try that before topping it off with seltzer.

Half and half is good with coke or Dr Pepper! Where I’m from when I worked at sonic we would always do either or soda and use the half and half they use to help mix the ice cream better for the blasts!!! It’s also really good to add vanilla with the half and half stuff.
Rachel, I needed to break the Coke habit so my best substitute is water, ice, lime juice, and lime salt. It gives me plenty of flavor and the salt kills some of the lime bitterness.
Dr. Pepper with peach syrup, vanilla syrup and half-and-half. Dr. Pepper with pomegranate syrup, coconut syrup, half-and-half. It's so good!!! Love the creaminess.

I love your channel and the test videos
I live in Connecticut, so it is cool to see a Canadian wearing a CT tshirt! I don’t see/hear about CT often from anyone who doesn’t live there😊
Chris has such perfect voice for asmr.
The coke with coconut and lime is my fave soda shop buy. Only a splash of cream though. Go extra on the coconut.
Dr. Pepper with peach syrup, vanilla syrup and half-and-half.
Dr. Pepper with pomegranate syrup, coconut syrup, half-and-half.
It's so good!!! Love the creaminess.
We used fruit compote in regular seltzer water it blends much better than jam but will result in the same thing and is good.
Seeing Chris cutting the watermelon was an oddly satisfying moment !
Love your content especially when the hubby is involved
Haven’t tried espresso and orange juice, but can vouch for espresso and still lemonade tasting amazing!
I’ve always heard the Oj Espresso is called Good Morning Vietnam, and I love it! It’s my Christmas breakfast drink :)
I have one of those long twisty spoons, but I had no idea that’s what it’s used for! I just bought it because I thought it looked funny and cute. 😁
I think they’re supposed to be extra good for mixing it something. Always used them when working in coffee shops
One Halloween my husband and I made infused "spirits" with jolly ranchers. That was pretty good. We need more of these videos lol.
Orange coffee was very popular in my country a few years ago. My friend basically forced me to try it and i fell in love, i do prefer it iced though. It works great with drip coffee and people who like sweet usually add some syrop
on the topic of what sound terrible but is good - espresso tonic water. really. seriously. it is good, you just need to get the proportions right
I can't get enough of you and Christopher!!! Hilarious!
You should do an ultimate margarita video and test different recipes.
We didn’t have teaspoons growing up so we always used knives to stir. I still usually grab it for drinks!
Dr. Pepper and French Vanilla Coffee Creamer is really good !!
NEW Rachel video! Yay! Can't wait to watch. Very intrigued about orange juice and espresso.... 🧐🤨
Dirty soda reminds me of what we called “Swamp water” here in Canada. It’s when you mix juices and/or pops together.
" It's over there I'm pretending it didn't happen" You guys are like a good show.
Love these videos. It’s fun to watch all these crazy experiments …random question, what knife are you guys using when cutting the watermelon? Thanks
As always, super cute video. Special effects are awesome. But FYI Waterbury, CT is no where near that golf ⛳️
The straight utensil/straw to pour easier...we learned that back in Chem 101 lab in college. I've used it OFTEN over the last 15 years lol. It doesn't have to be twisted. I use my stainless steel straw to do it.
The thing that makes the candy sour is citric acid. You can get it at Bulk Barn or specialty stores.
It seems to me like that balsamic drink could be very good if you used a fancy, aged balsamic with more of a syrupy consistency. I think standard supermarket balsamic might not have enough flavor.
Exactly right! It needs to be the aged, syrupy one, that is almost naturally sweet. The one in the video looked very thin.
Yes we use it here in the UK all the time. Good quality balsamic with a proper sparkling lemonade, loads of fruit cut up in it. Fake Pimms!!!
@@melz36uk, that was my first thought! How to have a Pimm’s if you can’t drink because of medication interaction, if you’re pregnant, you are the designated driver or whatever.
Exactly! Aged balsamic would have been so much better and would have made it more of a mocktail of a Pimm’s cup or Campari drink.
Chris says “it’s not good” as he goes in for a third swig 😂🤣😂🤣
With the jam drink I make it differently. I use strawberry or raspberry jam and I make sure there's no lumps because you will just drink the lumps, then use ginger ale and then a little bit of gin. Best summer drink!
I’ve been stirring my drinks with knives for YEARS!!! Lol!!! I started that bc we rarely use the butter knives but always use spoons. So I’d rather put the butter knives to use and not run out of my spoons lol
I started doing it because my spoons weren’t long enough to reach the bottom of tall glasses (like ice coffee ones) without dunking my fingers lol
@@sarahschmitt4354 yessss that’s another reason lol my gf was stirring her iced coffee this morning and the spoon was too short so I handed her a butter knife… she was like why isn’t this like an actual thing lol 🤣
Hi, So I love watching your videos I find you so funny, for the watermelon one to make it more sour you could try using a simple syrup made with the watermelon xtreme sour syrup they use for sonics or bahama bucks snow cones .
Try oj and espresso as a marinade for chuck roast. It is so good.
It's over there pretending it didn't happen.... Lmbo oh my I'm thinking that Bourbon did sneak up on ya a bit but at least ya had me laughing 😊 loved the upload
Ginger Ale with, Crown Apple, and lime makes a delicious cocktail. I’m a huge margarita fan so you may enjoy this also.
Chris calling the one “watery nonsense” made me LOL!
I love a twist of lemon in my espresso. My friend’s Italian grandmother drank it that way every morning.
I like watching Thai cafe vlogs and I noticed the iced orange juice and espresso drink is popular there.
Christopher wearing a CT shirt, we love to see it!
Try the float style with coke with vanilla creamer it taste good
