  • New to me Kubota tractor, around 240 hours. Came with a bunch of implements brush mower, trencher, post hole digger, rear forks, rear bucket scoop, box blade scraper gannon thingy, and of course the front loader. I dont really like the depth of the front loader, I think its going to be harder to use for woodchips, but it works great on dirt. Well see how it goes on the next drop off. If my other tractor with the deeper bucket is better then maybe I can modify it to work on the kubota.
    Thanks for watching, Im trying to do one video a week, but Ive been slacking lately. Make sure and subscribe if you want to see more videos like this and leave a comment if you have any questions. Have a great day!

    Man, I have the same Beaver but mine runs amazing. I would kill to have that front loader for mine! I’ve got a backhoe on it and it’s great.

    I have a Satoh Beaver and I just picked up a Mitsubishi Buck. The Buck has 170 hours on it. When I got it home I
    found the same goings on as you did with your Kubota. Missing pins, nails used for pins. I just went thru it and replaced
    all that. If you're getting lots of smoke from the Beaver, you may have a timing issue. They make an exhaust pipe for it that
    stands up like the Kabota. Looks deal! She looks like she has many years left in her.

      Darrell Coquillette Thanks, Ive been wanting a kubota for a while and something with HST for longer. Im putting the post hole digger to work tomorrow morning for an avocado tree. The beaver doesnt blow much smoke its just the angle it blows it. It will put out puffs when you rev it up, but settles down once its stable RPMs. The only real issue on the beaver is a parasitic draw on the battery somewhere. I cant find it, but havent looked much. A battery tender keeps it happy though.

    Don't be disappointed about the manufacturer date. I think it was a messicks Kubota video that said a tractor is not like a car as far as year built they said it is year sold. Mine was built in August1992 and sold in 1994. My papers say 1994.

      H Phillips the previous owner had a great documentation folder, but nothing about original sale date, just what the previous owner told him. The only thing I have to go on is the serial number. Ive also noticed that its stuck in 4x4, but I guess thats better than being stuck in 4x2. Apart from that it does everything I want it to do.

    Hi. I have Kubota B7100 where to buy front Loader like your Tractor?

    • @HomesteadOC

      Sell your tractor that doesnt have a front loader and buy a tractor with a front loader. It is very rare to find just the front loader by itself and when you do its way more expensive than its worth.

    Hi, I know it's been a while, but did you sell all the implements you wanted to?

    • @HomesteadOC
      @HomesteadOC  4 роки тому +1

      Kurt Arkangel yes, I sold the brush mower, rear scoop, and box scraper. I recently bought a wood chipper for it and I kept the post hole digger, and rear pallet forks, the trencher thingy isnt very useful for me.

      @@HomesteadOC , good for you! As you may have guessed, I also have a B7100, but not as many "toys". If there are any implements you may have for sale and you are not to far away, let's talk further!
      ...if not great video, thanks for sharing. I definitely enjoys the content. Keep it up!

      Kurt Arkangel I’m in Orange County, CA, but I dont think I’ll be selling any implements anytime soon. I use everything I have pretty regularly. Right now the woodchipper gets the most use, I cut trees down, the goats eat the leaves and most of the bark and then I chip the rest. Anything bigger than chipper size goes to the bonfire pile. I make biochar with the big logs and use it as bedding in the chicken coop, once they inoculate it I use the post hole digger to drill holes and fill them with the chicken bedding/biochar around the trees. Not sure if any of this is making much sense, but Ive been wanting to make a video of the process.

      @@HomesteadOC, Orange County! That's worlds away from SW Michigan. Thanks again for the reply and great content. Please keep it coming. I'd love to see that chipper in action. Now that I think about it, that's a toy I could use now and again. Next on the list is a landscape rake for me.

    Did you ever sell your brush hog?

    • @HomesteadOC
      @HomesteadOC  4 роки тому

      Steve Krewson yes, soon after I got the tractor. My property isnt really big enough to need a brush hog. Goats and chickens do a much better job.

      @@HomesteadOC Ok, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I was kinda hoping you still had it.
