  • Here's a better video of Rosey, if you saw my last video I'm sorry, hope you enjoy this one.
    ***in the video I said I turned my adjustment screw counter-clockwise, that was wrong. I turned mine about a full turn CLOCKWISE to add more fuel.
    Check out ‪@NolanMotorsports‬ for more refined videos, He's donated several gallons of viper blood for Rosey to burn so check him out.
    Bonus "how to" clip on how to adjust the fueling on the D750
    If I mentioned it in the video heres the links, If I forgot some just ask in the comments.

    I have been making black diesel for years, use it in my generator, tractor, bucket truck. One thing you may consider is cutting your oil with 20% gasoline and letting it sit for about a month, all the junk will settle out to the bottom of the container.

    Love it man. I played around with a B7100 and a RHB31. I found that a GT15 was a little big and a GT12 with a tight AR would have probably been about perfect. 4-5psi really does make a bit of difference on these especially under load. Great work and I love the project

      What year is the truck? I'm hoping it performs well in the Cummins build I'm doing but it's a hpcr out of an 05 so I'm not sure if it will have some of the same issues as WVO on the common rail cummins.

      @@john200871 running a common rail on wvo or wmo isn’t a good idea and will cause problems, but if you are willing to risk putting either in I would mix it with a decent % of petrol to thin it down to around the same viscosity to diesel

    thats awesome!! Just bought an early b7100 myself and it may end up with a turbo one day... what chipper are you running?? been looking for one that is sized right for this tractor and can only find ones that operate in the 25-40hp range... Rosie sure is a good ol' gal tho..

    • @john200871
      @john200871  6 місяців тому +1

      This is a WC-8, it's just a Chinese chipper. This would be better suited on a larger tractor but as long as you don't run larger than a 6 inch log then it does fine. I ran this chipper prior to the turbo and it would get it spun up but had a hard time maintaining rpm when running larger than 4 inch limbs.

    • @john200871
      @john200871  Рік тому +5

      It runs the wood chipper a lot better than before, as well as the mower deck. You have to have reasonable expectations, It's a 16-18 hp tractor originally. Would I buy a b7100 and turbo it to run a 30 hp attachment? No, I'd just buy a bigger tractor. If you want something fun to tinker with, then yes, it's worth it.
      I will say, though, that I have no worries about the turbo affecting engine durability with only 5 psi

    i guess this is not for farm work... turbo setup wouldn't last long when tilling in dry conditions... (due to kind of air filter) but nice job. :)

    • @john200871
      @john200871  Рік тому +1

      You do have to be mindful of dust conditions with this type of filter for sure, but it could easily be fitted with a paper style filter and shiled and be just fine for dusty work. I use it for everything on our homestead. Honestly, if the filter is breathing dust on this little tractor, then so am I, so I just avoid that for the most part.

    Why the vband on the manifold, would turbo not bolt up? Also how did you tie in the turbo drain at the bottom

    • @john200871
      @john200871  Рік тому

      No the turbo isn't a direct fit. The v band made clocking and swapping of turbos easier. The other reason I welded the V band to the manifold was so I could easily put a 90 and a muffler back on it if the turbo ever failed or something.
      As far as the drain, I got a steel 10an bung and welded it into the pan just under the frame rail. You have to remove the front cradle to be able to remove the pan.
