Glad I found your channel, just traded a project 73 Ford Maverick Grabber for a 93 B7100 HST with FEL and I'm sure I will end up doing same upgrades. Also I am not too far from you here in East Tawas MI.
Oh nice! They are such great tractors! I have had a few other projects pop up so it’s been on the back burner a bit. About to get back on her! Nice, we have a Cruise In coming up next weekend the 25th in Essexville at the Excited Goat. If y’all are this way.
I put the same rear hubs on my 1991 Kubota B7100 a few years ago. I also have some videos on my tractor on my channel. I just used the pin that was supplied with the hub instead of bolts like I use to put in my factory hubs. I have never had to retighten the hubs and no more wobble. I like the pin because I can check it and if it is still loose in the hole, I know the hub has not moved on the axel. I also use that grease; I really like it.
Off camera I rotated the hub and hit a better fit. Once it was tightened down. It was more secure. The axel had a wear spot from the old factory hub. If I had the skill set. Your idea would be perfect to grind them to fit.
Getting that ole girl back in shape!! Those new spindles look lots better, and should hold up great!!
Thank you brother! Next trip up will have you take her for a spin!

That red grease is so awesome! Good to hear you have had great luck with yours!
Could you grind some off the smaller end of the tapered pieces so they come together further, allowing it to get tight on the axle?
