Spot on and I’m a Chelsea fan
What a bloody side that is! I’m with you on that one!
That's a bloody good team, the only 1 who you for me wasn't as absolute elite like the others is Viera and obviously he was world class but the others were elite elite.
Keane for vieira and xavi for iniesta
Arsenal fan same generation that team is awesome
The 1st caller is a prime example of English football fans knowing english football and emglish football only
That’s why England don’t win anything 😂
@BCANDOIT not only that, but they are genuinely rubbish, no matter how many golden generations come through.
@@MrRNBstar Fr they don’t win because they disregard every footballer that hasn’t played in their league and every other league despite their league only being relevant bc of money not because of good English tactics 🤣

Im of his age, and Robson was a very good player, but there's been better in an all time 11 for sure!
Hold on here. Zidane was one of the biggest big game players of a all time. Absolute legend of a player.
Zidane in the 2006 World Cup, you’ll never see a midfield domination like that again. It was like he was playing with kids!
@@IroonieLA agreed! But after Maradona he is simply the best ball player. So eligant that i always wonder how an europen can be so smooth on the ball. He was physical like European and elegant like Latin. Complete pakage!
Possibly the true greatest, he was one of the few that could really do everything. Messe and Ronaldo couldn't.
@@kadiummusic Messi could do absolutely everything Zidane could and better if I'm honest. Zidane was amazing elegant player definitely top 5, but definitely not better than Messi. I would agree Zidane could do more than CR7.

Neuer all day for goalkeeper. That man basically reinvented the goalkeeper position. The fact he could play with his feet and was an incredible sweeper keeper as well, he was phenomenal goalkeeper.
Yet he gets beat by Liverpool and Chelsea ALL the time!!!
How did he reinvent it? Victor valdes is the pioneer of the role sweeper keeper.

‘Pele is in my top 5 but not in my greatest X1 because I’ve not seen him play enough’ good old Jamie O’Hara providing the banter
How's Neuer getting no flowers right now??
He revolutionised the GK sweeper role, not to mention he won the sextuple with Bayern and WC with Germany.
People forget how good was Prime Neuer. Also I dont understand why no one mentions Oliver Kahn. He was THE TITAN in the penalty area.
Valdez in Barcelona team created the sweeper keeper style. But neuer is world class right up there
Maradona was a number 10 playing behind the strikers!
Yes, but he also played as a second striker when there was two up front. Basically 4-4-1-1, or a staggered front two. Imagine him and Messi up front creating havoc? It would have been insane.
@@FrankieBlueEyes you just described the same position he did
He made his statement with an exclamation point, implying they were wrong about listing Maradona as a striker in a front two. I was just stating that he did play as a striker in a front two sometimes. He usually had the freedom to roam as he wanted and his teammates reacted to him. My family is from Naples, I have seen Maradona play in person when he was with Napoli, it's a site to behold. The effect he had on the crowd and the people in Naples is not like anything I have ever seen since.
Thank you, and the first name on the list for me. Lucky I'm 53 and seen all their careers apart from Pele's generation
@@FrankieBlueEyes yea your right. If he played up in a 2, he would be the 10 who had license to roam, drop deep and work his magic

messi is perfect as a forward but the problem is there's no one better at playmaking then him all time so if you put him as a forward your doing a good thing obviously but your also sacrificing the abilities of the greatest playmaker so thats why i put him in the midfield with zidane and pirlo id put r9 and cr7 as forwards maldini nesta beckenbauer need to defend
A team with Prime Messi as a RW or SS/CF and Prime Maradona as a CAM/CM would break football. Doesn't matter who was behind or beside they'd absolutely ruin defences and midfields. Unstoppable. 2 players individually capable of the Goal of Century and one of them can bang 91 goals in a year, both can run full tilt with the ball at their feet and stop on a dime. Both freekick/set-piece maestros. That's why they are the first names on the team, they even have telepathic chemistry despite playing in 2 different eras of football. Seriously, watch them play Foot-tennis.
@@vampycaltm5273 my favorite players are playmakers with amazing vision and passing so I would rather see beautiful passing and assists then goals
It's a testament to Messi's greatness. Not just the best goal scorer (goals per game and shots on target are better than C. Ronaldo's), but even as a playmaker and pulling strings and setting up passes from midfield, he is even better than Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta and as good as Maradona. No other player is so complete in his mastery of the control of the football; scoring, passing, dribbling. A 10 in all areas, the only player to ever have that.

Dinozof (GK), Maldini (CD) with Canavaro, Cafu (RB), Roberto C. (LB), P. Viera (DM), Zidane (OM), Mbappe (LW), R7 (LW), R9 (F), Messi (F). This is my best eleven.
schmeichel was responsible for most of the trophies in old trafford up until the day he got transfer . Any time he was inquired or not on the pitch united struggled .
I am NOT a United fan but Schmeichel was the reason Denmark won the Euro 92 (I think that was the year) I have never seen a keeper have SUCH a big impact on a major tourney. Not saying that they have not, but I have not seen it.
@@yourhomesoldguarenteedinbcGermany just won world cup too , great team , they had the laudrups aswell

No pele? Rubbish. They come out with all kinds of excuses to somehow exclude pele. If you haven't seen Tokyo does it mean it doesn't exist? What fake arguments!
You definitely can rate Pele and Maradona over Messi if you prefer them but FAR FROM IT?? Lol never. He’s right there with anyone who’s ever played

as soon as I heard "man utd fan" I just knew this guy was gonna say either schmeichel or van der sar. Buffon, Casillas, Neuer, Yashin were all clear to me.
Not just to you the entire world . Schmeichel/ Van Der sar are legends but there are just levels to this game personally prime neuer so around 2013-2014 was the best keeper I've ever seen
Yeh but these pair are only talking about the last 30 years, so Garrincha, Pele, Yashin and the like won't get a look in.
Buffon is my 2nd choice, but I totally agree Schmeichel is the best
tbh there is nothing wrong w having PS in this team. What he did w DK in 92 was almost unmatched even by the above. Casillas is mad overrated imo can't catch a ball (would be completely exposed in any other Euro league).. Neuer was obvs better with his feet but I don't think he was as dominant from the back as PS. Not going to argue against Gigi and Yashin but PS is in the conversation.
Peter ldefined his era of goalkeeping and introduced a style that resonates to this day. Whether you think in his era Kahn or Southall (as many people do claim that Neville Southall was arguably the best keeper in the world early/mid 90s) as his contempories were better, that is another debate, but I find it amazing to think that wouldn't automatically qualify his as one of the best keepers of all time. Yashin, Zoff, Banks, Schmiechel, Kahn, Buffon, Casillas and Neuer are the candidates that spring to my mind at first. Also I forgot the person that Schmiechel himself grew up loving- Sepp Meier.
Another mention- fair enough I am biased- would be Harry Gregg. He would have fitted into today's game perfectly.

If you've got Nesta in there.... You need Cannavaro even if it's just from the world cup 06 semi final performance.
Also Baggio should be in that squad too.
@@dinono10 no way does Baggio get in, and Nesta gets in over Cannavaro because at club level imo he was better but also Baresi and Beckenbauer were better than both in their eras so I probably should’ve put one of them in tbh
@@barry4649 in that case, Veira should be there instead of Kante. Agreed to disagree on Baggio but in the early 90s to mid 90s he was the best player in the world. Other than that fairly solid group of players.

lmao imagine not putting Zidane who's one of the best big game players of all time and the best midfielder of all time, xavi and iniesta were 2 to control a game, zidane was doing that alone + he's better technically
You already have Maradona so it would be hard to fit Zidane in. Besides, people forget Zidane was average at Juventus, with an awful disciplinary record, and they couldn't believe their luck when Real Madrid made a record breaking bid for him. Even the Spanish press stated Iniesta had surpassed Zidane, but unfortunately was playing in the same era and club team as Messi, which is why he was not as noticed as Zizou.
