A monkey tailed skunk was my first ever reptile pet. I got her back in ‘93 and she was amazing. So friendly. We were best buds while I was in university and starting my adult life.

I have a Monkey tail called King, He supposed to be herbivorous, but if your not fast enough he will try and get human fingers lol. I do offer mine some invertebrates like some Morio grub or a snail and quail eggs now and then, coz my way of thinking is that is going to be something they run into time to time, as they graze on plants or hide in tree holes etc.

Hahahahaha, Your like a Jedi with the Skinks, reminds me of a really aggressive Green Iguana rescue, (Ralphie), I had many years ago. I didn't have him for long as I rescued him from the owners wife. The owner passed away and the wife wasn't able to take care of Ralphie cause he had a real attitude problem and always did. He just wasn't wanting to be tamed. The owner had him for 37 years. He was huge. A little over 7 feet tip to tip, his body was thick at 17 1/4 inches. He was damn strong, and would charge you and ram you if he didn't wanna be bothered, which was most of the time. I knew the owner growing up and remember him telling me about one time killing one of their cats that would tease Ralphie. Ralphie one day got the opportunity and rag dolled the cat until it wasn't moving anymore, and when they tried to get the cat away from Ralphie, he wouldn't let them for hours until he was satisfied and went back onto his tree perch. He was beautiful, but damn he was aggressive.

I put a plastic net like grid down on my lawn so my tortoises couldn’t eat down to the roots. Had to use a utility knife to cut the grid so I’m not worried. Saved my yard. Gonna move into a place with a bigger yard.

#drivenbyrevenge skinks are mostly nocturnal, there very clumbersome lol 🤣. most times you see them in family groups, paired with a one male or several females. they are very social creatures if you raise them up,but get aggressive towards strangers if they dont know them 😰..

Hi Kamp Kenan I used to keep n still love tortoises n reptiles. When the Corucia came into the reptile market I purchased some they are and were my favorite. I bred two pairs and had two set of twins. It was amazing. The babies as I first found them would stay on their mother's back. I also was fortunate to see the mother after chewing spinach feed one of the babies direct from her mouth. It was totally amazing. Before I got my skinks I had purchased a book on the Solomon Islands fauna, etc. They named a specific plant as their favorite. As I keep plants also, I was able to obtain that specific plant. When I received it I loved it so much I couldn't use it as food. I went to pothos until I got them on romaine, escaole n chichory n sweet potatoes which they loved n of course bananas. I bred n raised Blue and Pink Tongues. I have so many great stories but this video brought back the best memory. Thank you.

Great video to do would be leaving the go pro on one of the shelfs in the rec pond for 30 - 60 minutes unedited of the fish going about their business doing what african cichlids do. Would be a super relaxing video to watch. I would watch it, probably several times. Pothos grows very well when the roots are in water it would grow extremely quickly in the wetland filter.

When I was breeding corucia zebrata in 03-05 my crew loved the snail, waxworm and mealworm treats.... Absolutely loved them more than the bananas, apples and kale treats. Protein was a once a week thing. Main food was spinach, iceberg, romain, carrots and grapes. Yea those bites hurt... Don't forget that the babies need the gutload from moms feces to develop strong stomachs. Unless research has found it not to be soo important. I learned from phillippe De Vos Jolis' book way back. Love this species and wish more people could do work with them and be successful.

Probably either selective breeding,or mutation. I've seen on a documentary with a cheetah having a black background with yellow spots than the traditional yellow background/black spots. While naturally the regular cheetah can survive and adapt to the savannah, the darker one wouldn't cause it stand out as a sore thumb.Certain species have evolved to either climate changes or through eating habits.. I hope this helps your answer..

My sister has just got permission from her landlady to get my niece and nephews a tortoise for Christmas as they have been dying to get a pet.
