carschmn I was thinking the same thing, these enclosures are normally in a zoo indoors but Kenan knows what he is doing.
Well heat does rise,so it will likely rise to the top! and vent out.
Lorna Hayne it just doesn’t seem like a lot of ventilation for the weather they get in summer but Kenan is the man he knows his stuff I have 100% confidence in the bloke.

Poor girl. I use to do iguana rescue - I found the I had more behavior issues with the females than the males. So glad se is with you so she can get the TLC she needs.

Hi Kenan. I so appreciate your help in raising my little leopard tortoises. I wonder if you can advise me on where to get some good soil for their enclosure. I have red dirt in my area so can't get substrate from the yard and all the soil we can find has plant growth additives. I really want to get them the substrate they need. Any guidance is so appreciated. Thank you and stay healthy
A cool idea for a collab would be to get Tanner from serpa design to give one of those enclosures a makeover! The way they are decorated now with the painted background doesn’t look the most natural I think he’d do a great job on them
They are just temporary so there would be no point to it.

Those lizards are so powerful. Now she has to be quarantined like the rest of us. Would you consider making a bigger enclosure
like that one when she gets better so she can run like the wind? Don't they need air all throughout their domain? She definitely thought freedom was on the other side.

my face looked like that after a motorcycle accident. If they can wire her jaw, you will have a heck of a time feeding her, but she will be fine. She's lucky she has you man

Hey Kamp, instead of having 90 deg angle corners, where the floor and the walls of the cage meet, put a small ramp that will eliminate the 90 deg angles and have 'ramps' that will gently direct the running animal, instead of running directly into the wall or floor or ceiling of the cage. In other words the cause of the smashing of their faces.

awwww, I hope Doc can wire her jaw. I remember years ago having an iguana that did the same thing, but broke the hinge of his jaw and it couldn't be wired, it was a hell of a job as a kid to try to feed him baby food. The Doc tried but Iggy Rep (named after Iggy Pop), ended up getting an infection and went into septic shock, and didn't make it. That was my 2nd Iguana. Baby Iguana's are so spastic that unless you have them in a rubber cage they're bound to always have some bashing happen to their nose. I was never able to have a huge outdoor cage for them as I lived in Nova Scotia, Canada and Vancouver, Canada when I had them. The good thing is, as you said Kenan, that she is still opening her mouth and eating and able to eat, so that's definitely in your favour to have her recover and be ok.
Oh and Kate, Self Isolation or not, your toes really don't mater and don't at all reflect on your beauty either inner or outer beauty, either way your still beautiful both inside and out!

as you can tell from my picture, I love Iguanas. I wish her a speedy recovery. Reptiles heal very slowly. I have a tortoise with a facial injury that has been healing since before christmas. Love how you care so much for your animals. Have you given her a name yet?
You could try what Bruce does at the reptarium. He uses a different approach in taming. Contact your buddy Brian Barchyk.

Great habitat you built! I'm sure they will love it..do you think she was scared of Slinky? Even if Slinky can't get at them, they must see and smell him..and I guess he makes sounds too. They sure seem wild! I hope it goes well at the vet tomorrow!

Kate, your feet are fine. all we can see of them is from 6 feet away. It is not like we had an HD view of them with a micro lens 5 cm away.
Ok i am glad she is going to be fixed up but was that a lizard or fast moving scorpion at like 8:15ish? Lol moved like a lizard but looked like its tail was up over like a scorpion. Went under the chairs.

I’m not sure if this will help I breed and keep Australian and foreign parrots. There were certain species that fledged babies that were steady but some were bloody crazy they’d hit the front wire and their new skin I made up some hessian hangings their new skin would bleed easy. I hang 10-15cm from front wire i Hang some hessian or shade cloth with a small weight in bottom it slows and shields them until the crazy settles if I’m out of those a bushy eucalyptus branch does the job. Perhaps this method could be reptile adapted. Stay well keep filming.

i dont want you to think im taking a dig at you kenan but im sure you know that these animals are gona keep injuring themselves untill you put in alot of time to spend with them and train them up , i know its hard as you have so many animals to take care of , and you take care of them all on your own but in the long run its more stress on you and the animals if you dont tackle it asap xx

Thank you for showing the good and the bad on this channel. I have learned so much from the videos like this on your channel and i feel like i would know how to handle myself in a similar situation ( can be vary stressfull and scary if you feel helpless)
Don't worry about all the trolls that will say "if you didn't do X or Y you would be in this situation" because you can't see into the future and must always be prepared for the worst.

Idk if he spoke about this while talking about the enclosure but with it being solid on 3 sides an glass on front its not going to get way to hot in there for the Iguanas? Being in Florida an in an enclosed area like that I would think it would be like an oven during the day. Its possible I missed him touching on that though.

Hope all works out.. I hate when animals are hurting or hurt.... Especially ones i love .... But that goes with any animal dont like them hurting .. Hopefully the jaw can be fixed maybe u wont have to wire it
