Thanks so much for sharing! I love your work. For the Art of Where notebook, what kind of mediums would be best for the type of paper it comes with? Is it thick enough to withstand paint?
Hi Chelsey! Our Spiral Notebook can be ordered with either sketch paper (less thick) or drawing paper (more thick). The latter can definitely handle paint! We're going to try to get a blog post up soon, with pictures of all the different ways you can use our notebooks!
Hi Naomi. I have a question about the POD site, "Art of Where." How was the shipping? Art of where is located in Montreal, Canada and I notice that Canada Post shipping usually isn't cheap. Especially for overseas orders. Did you find the shipping rate to your house reasonable? Has anyone from overseas who have purchased an Art of Where product thought the shipping was a bit high. I find that people usually don't complain but I always try to find the best and economical shipping for my customers.
Also, one more thing. Your video sealed the deal for me. I'm switching to Art of Where. Thank you for taking the time and making this video. :)
Who is your publisher who prints your art books?
There's a great interview by Bobby Chui with the guy that wrote/illustrated that book! Well worth a watch! ;)
In the second book, the heck is th point of putting a dollar coin size sketch (well 2 sketches) and then that's it?

people underestimated the power of images in a book.. I mean, yeah sure, creativity and fantasy world of the reader...but it is nice to be served a slightly more fleshed out fantasy story once in a while. Plus beautiful pics.
yes, this is really one of a Kind. There are graphic novels like Luis Royo and Victoria Frances do, but this is really a massive book. Like, you would pull it out of the shelf and expect a vast Lord of the ring like Story written in it and then BOUM, fully filled with pics.
