Yeap ran into one right on the trail, the way the trail was I couldn’t go around, there were no big rocks, so we sprayed it with mace lol

When sleeping on ground under tarp, woke up to snake coiled under my jacket, think it was the rat snake just trying to get warm. Haven't had ticks or snakes since I got off the ground and into a hammock.
