The most deep and heartful material came from this era of tallica. The fans expectations ruined all freedom of expression from hetfield. No other metallica album will come close to load and re-load for truth and raw metallica.
72 seasons
You'd think, but I don't think he/they care one way or the other. They make albums and songs for themselves. St. Anger was just as heartfelt. 72 Seasons definitely has heart. They did change musically though after Reload, and I'd love for them to return to that vibe. I love Load/Reload.
Love this song & couple others off Load/ reload. Too much filler could have made 1 Album, good tunes. After they Turned Kill em All, RTL& Master of P, shit the rest is just gravy. Enjoy any & all of 1 of best Live/ studio bands ever. Never be disappointed 💯🔥

@sadsadsa asadasd yes thats what makes it the best one. it was filmed professionally in that time period when james voice matured but wasnt toned down or blown out yet from the black album and the tour. while there could be better concerts, that one is the best relic we have

Hammer of Justice Crushes You OVERPOWER that's just some strained yelling, he can do that any time, it's just very damaging for his voice and he knows he needs to preserve it now if he wants to still be touring in 10-15 years.
I am lucky enough to have been at this very concert. After 11 years I am still coming back to these recordings, that was a special evening. I have seen Metallica 8 times between 2003 and 2019 and this concert is just so far above all the others. Grand.
i listened to my brothers ipod and this song came up. i was like, what the hell is this? i even ask him if it was really metallica. so i listened to justice, master, and ride the lightning, awesome music. but then my life started to go downhill. i came back to this song and i cant even explain how much it helped me through rough times.

I believe that missing Rock am Ring 2008 was the biggest mistake of my life at this point. I have never heard a Metallica concert with a setlist like this (Bleeding me, Fade to black, Die die my darling...)and the quality of each song truly sounds like a recorded piece not just live performance. It's genius. It's amazing. Wish I was there.

I'll never forget hearing this song live for the first time. Because I thought Load sucked, I didn't really know or recognize this song at first. And it turned out to be the highlight of the night, the best song.

One of my favorite Metallica songs (Disposable Heroes is still the best though). I don't care what people say, Load was a MASTERPIECE. It wasn't thrash, but it was a masterpiece nonetheless.
