@@Epd3mik because it's the same structure, the two songs start with a really mean bass riff, and later the guitars start the same way, and the chorus of this songs, are nearly the same, and the solos have a similar thing in common, they're unique, and so badass, that's because the two songs are pretty similar XD
This is just awesome,they should play Load/Reload/St.anger more live.Each is great in it's own way and all are very underrated

Watch at 0:17-0:19 - the song should start with Robert on bass, but while he's hamming it up for the crowd, Kirk goes ahead and starts his riff and Robert kinda just pulls back, and the camera on Kirk shows he's saying something..probably "just start the song"...

@HighLifetage I actually think its just his tone. ;O Kirk and James are very distinctive with their tones. James is the very gritty one, if it helps at all man.

No, just because it's fast doesn't make it heavy. There's not a riff in Fight Fire With Fire that makes it heavy. It's fast and it's heavy metal, thrash to be exact, but it isn't really HEAVY. Not the way we're talking about it anyway. When people say HEAVY, they mean it to be a thick, slow, fat ass groove that sounds totally bad ass like Sad But True, The Thing That Should Not Be, The God That Failed, Devil's Dance, songs like those.

When you say heavy, you mean badass motherfucking thick grooves, well thats one kind of heavy, so I can't really disprove it.
As for FFWF, the main riff is heavy. Yes it is.
The heaviest song of all time is considered by some as Angel of Death by Slayer , and thats pretty fast.
Anyways, in conclusion, in music heavy has many a meaning. We have just mentioned two... Well, I think there are only two... But... You get the point! :D
