1:08:45 if red mist doesnt deal 40 damage in a turn she takes stagger damage, it's right there on ego status P. S i don't think anyone ever triggered the 8 mob kill trigger condition considering that after you kill 2 the other 2 gain fervent beats
Extra tips for Red Mist Batle: Index Proxies are very good and effective this fight because of easy power stacking. Binah can use Degraded Pillar to cheese On rush and GSV. Her First Die has the effect "This dice can't be rerolled", so even if you fail the clash, the dice is destroyed. Also, her Mass attack gives 3 Protection to all alies, so it's useful against surviving GSH
Tbh regarding the comment in the thumbnail...... meh, first tume I had difficulty in LoR going in blind was QoH (I still question myself why the hell I chose to spend hours to beat her as soon as unlocked instead of getting stronger pages and clear her in few attempts) and after that I found stuff difficult only when I reached Star of the city. Also while LoR has it's nasty fights, especially from star of the city and forward, it's almost relaxing compared to LC in my opinion, love both games but oh boi does LC get stressful in later days, especially when powerful abnos want completly different things like QoH and Mosb, or when you discover for the first time that some abnos "disguise" themselves as lower a lower grade one.
makes me mad seeing someone say there's literally no reward for a not fully completed fight when a large part of my strategy for the mid game was beating a single enemy of a hard reception to get their keypage to use against them again lol
How i defeated xiao. Netzach on 25 hp, and 5 stagger. *Spring genesis, tentacle, pebble* after following two hits on xiao, netzach if effectively *IMMORTAL* for 4 chapters and 11 turns.
Full stop office and carnival passives are also very good. Full stop str stacking on 3 attack dice page as a starter will not only win most clashes but also gain back 3 emotion coin (refilling light).

Tell me you've never heard a robot who wants to feel something and a protagenist who is sucked into a place unknown, has no idea what's going on, and is trying to get a grip on everything new" kid has CLEARLY never gotten past early-game. Also commenting on the game's "Easiness". Kid has CLEARLY never done a SINGLE floor realization, or even got to UN. I love insulting the worldbuilding of city and giving no explanation whatsoever, my favorite thing! The issue with the Tracks cutting out is believable, since, well, the floor battle intensity system is never explained and not very well-polished (should've probly faded out and in imo), but otherwise HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT REVIEW?!?? thanks for letting me rant guys rest of the video is great
1:08:44 I believe since you can't attack him that turn you take the stagger damage from not dealing 40+ damage in a turn (a requirement listed on the redmist buff) but then since you have the ability to refill your stagger bar to full once staggered you don't actually lose your ego form? It's still a bit weird but since you didn't deal damage that should be why you got staggered in the first place.
My favorite build in the game is pierce decks with Netzach, but somehow I didn't realize how viable Slash was even in the early game. I used it a ton later, but still...
Not sure how well this will be received, if anything, if you want to play as braindead and stagnant as humanly possible, charge, burn, and so much floor gimmicks suck in comparison to running basically 2 builds until end end game. The "Bullets don't work" build and smoke bleed combo build. I feel confident enough to state such revolting claims because I did the same as this man: Read reviews, chuckle, and reset my game. Guns are amazingly fast at clearing non-boss fight or not so gimmicky realization/abnorm fights. Run all of the Full Stop passives and have fun, later add more passives as you progress the game. Bleed and smoke is ridiculously broken, easy to stack up smoke and bleed to make the enemy die via attacking you. Though its not that strong if you have to deal with more enemies. So I like to use it against bosses. Ofc when it comes to the Blue Man Group you can't quite run any braindead build :( (I hate you Pluto, Hokmaballs) But overall an easy way to carry your early game and not have to bother deck building. Again, if you want to be braindead and one a trick pony type of (boring) player, this is the path for you! I prefer gambling with Roland's floor, I love ruining a fight cause my light restore cards cost 3 :D. That or bing bing bong with Yesod. We know how broken Yesod is right?
OH yeah forgot, the "Bullets don't work" build REALLY shines against PT/Iori. Lol the most easiest way to first try her, shoot her and then let ur next floor die, then bring the gun gang and win in 3 or 4 turns in total. (Not including that one dead floor, we don't talk about it)
@@olixx1213 not the main point of it. Smiling friends have a really good combo with each other. Their deck is basically smoke and bleed cards. The main point of it is to hit hard via smoke stacks then apply fuck load of bleed in order to make the enemy lose hp by the double digits. As you continue the game, you get more efficient bleed and smoke cards. Overall prob the strongest combo there is in terms status effects. Smoke is good mainly because in most cases with a full team you will be getting a lot of one-sided attacks, meaning something weak like unlock with smoke stacks can hit as hard as emotional turbulence without smoke.
@@sparea8624 there's only 1 smoke card that apply a good amount of bleed, and that's flesh fillet , no other smoke card do any significant bleed or Care about bleed Also the best combo of status effect is mark + smoke
first off, i'm assuming you use the same setup as mine (decks, passives, and abno cards)? second, i'm sure Greta cannot be staggered, she just takes like 100 damage instead. third, if you do use the same setup as mine, the only problem that you'll face is Break and Egg, and Trial Snack which has massive number on the second dice. you can deal with it using smoke blow, smoke prick or any card that has the friend buff activated and has a second dice as well. fourth, how long was the baits alive for? just keep them alive as long as you can, at least until she uses her insta kill move on the baits. after that it's just a matter of doing the fight as usual and cancelling her grab with xiao's mass attack, the first one use the more expensive mass attack, then the second one use the cheap one. just to be a bit efficient on the light that's all i can say for now from the limited information you gave me
@@plasmur i just changed my build to a rapid gashes build and won easily lol. Its a lot more light efficient and draws better than what the video showed. However, i still want to thank you for the advice you have given me.

Lob Corp is 1000% any stage in the game
fun fact: the first time i did hokma realization i died at the plot armor part due to hokma being on 3 hp and me having Martyr
1:11:00 there's a way easier way of doing aspiration
Step 1 : Get the abno page learn and slap it on a nugget with any defensive power up(can be anyone if you use nikolai)
Step 2 : Use learn against aspiration, the counter dices will clash and she'll get staggered due to her constantly losing the clashes
THAT"S A FUCKING GENIUS IDEA
who knows, maybe if i make this vid again but better, i'll actually use that idea
but wait, aspiration is a counter right?
pretty sure counter can't clash with counter
Abno fight cheeses kinda feels like some sort of cursed knowledge that a lot of people still know
Did you know that you could skip 2 phases of false throne by stealing the page that kills the target instantly with the abno page rake ?
@@plasmur counters usually can't clash with counters due to counters usually needing to be one sided to be actually used
However due to the dices being copied when the card is used, the clash is already happening , so they are used
(Also learn is really bugged with counter dices, if you copy fiery dragon slash with learn , learn will also copy the counter die , which is gonna hit the target after the other 3 dices, even thought the opponent has no more dices)
i see what you mean, because learn is not originally a counter, it just copies the dice of the opposing
that's a really neat way using learn actually
never knew about that
good job sir you have leveled up my knowledge
Damn, and the fact I went through the game without doing any general receptions. No wonder the difficulty spike.
same braincell with me
my first playthrough, i didn't even know general recpetions was a thing until i looked at youtube stuff
Honestly fair, they tell you about it once during a cutscene and never tell or talk about it again
Video talking about how to break one of my top 3 favorite games that I've just replayed for the 2nd time that don't need any help beating and make it incredibly easy? Of course, I'll watch it. Waiter, waiter! More Ruina content, please!
Step one to cheese everything: bremen abuse
Step two: thumb pages with full stop passives
Step three: yesod myongest+pt guard overcharge (only slightly shatters balance)
The multitude tightens its hold
As good as this video is I think it would be better if it had chapters for when you actually get into the builds you know what pages use and stuff.
i'm sorry, i completely forgot to add chapters on yt, adding it now
@@plasmur cool I'm glad to respond to criticism well.

this peaks so hard..... waow..
1:08:45 if red mist doesnt deal 40 damage in a turn she takes stagger damage, it's right there on ego status
P. S i don't think anyone ever triggered the 8 mob kill trigger condition considering that after you kill 2 the other 2 gain fervent beats
i know that, i'm just wondering why black silence didn't immediately wake up
it almost costed me that run after all
@@plasmur it alwaysbhappens after 3 turns? You need to not kill the bygones immediately to notnget hit with stagger here
so i killed them too quick huh
well sucks for me then
thanks for pointing it out man
Extra tips for Red Mist Batle:
Index Proxies are very good and effective this fight because of easy power stacking.
Binah can use Degraded Pillar to cheese On rush and GSV. Her First Die has the effect "This dice can't be rerolled", so even if you fail the clash, the dice is destroyed.
Also, her Mass attack gives 3 Protection to all alies, so it's useful against surviving GSH
loving the ymfah aesthetic
You have made my day funny man.
Im not as funny as roland sadly
Holy underrated creator
didn't realize you were here until i scrolled back again
thx for watching
makes me mad seeing someone say there's literally no reward for a not fully completed fight when a large part of my strategy for the mid game was beating a single enemy of a hard reception to get their keypage to use against them again lol
1:05:27 "42th run the winning run" im sorry, this has me rolling for some reason
19:40 insignificant nitpick but you can actually do any reception to get back the distortion/lob corp book, from Rats and onward
How i defeated xiao.
Netzach on 25 hp, and 5 stagger.
*Spring genesis, tentacle, pebble*
after following two hits on xiao, netzach if effectively *IMMORTAL* for 4 chapters and 11 turns.

second post at the start. omfg. "The characters are very by-the-numbers and cookie-cutter. The issue with the Tracks cutting out is believable, since, well, the floor battle intensity system is never explained and not very well-polished (should've probly faded out and in imo), but otherwise HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT REVIEW?!??
thanks for letting me rant guys
rest of the video is great
Okay the switch version does suck, can't blame them on that.

I didn’t even realize that was Irori’s kid
i was just joking to be honest, but who knows, it might actually be so
1:08:44 I believe since you can't attack him that turn you take the stagger damage from not dealing 40+ damage in a turn (a requirement listed on the redmist buff) but then since you have the ability to refill your stagger bar to full once staggered you don't actually lose your ego form? It's still a bit weird but since you didn't deal damage that should be why you got staggered in the first place.
wow i thought this was ymfah
Me, watching this after already got an true ending in the game:
(Not including that one dead floor, we don't talk about it)
based
There is some goofy shit you Can run against the ensemble
(Also smoke don't boost the damage from bleed)
@@sparea8624 there's only 1 smoke card that apply a good amount of bleed, and that's flesh fillet , no other smoke card do any significant bleed or Care about bleed
Also the best combo of status effect is mark + smoke
Funny thing is when i fought road to home, the girl died but the cat didnt transform so i had to chip away at its hp. FUNNNNNNNN
Thanks for using Crack of Dawn.
Question, how did you get so much stagger damage on greta? Im following your strat to a T and im doing next to no damage
first off, i'm assuming you use the same setup as mine (decks, passives, and abno cards)?
second, i'm sure Greta cannot be staggered, she just takes like 100 damage instead.
third, if you do use the same setup as mine, the only problem that you'll face is
Break and Egg, and Trial Snack which has massive number on the second dice. you can deal with it using smoke blow, smoke prick or any card that has the friend buff activated and has a second dice as well.
fourth, how long was the baits alive for? just keep them alive as long as you can, at least until she uses her insta kill move on the baits.
after that it's just a matter of doing the fight as usual and cancelling her grab with xiao's mass attack, the first one use the more expensive mass attack, then the second one use the cheap one.
just to be a bit efficient on the light
that's all i can say for now from the limited information you gave me
@@plasmur i just changed my build to a rapid gashes build and won easily lol. Its a lot more light efficient and draws better than what the video showed.
However, i still want to thank you for the advice you have given me.

Dude, when I was playing couple years ago, the guides were outdated, cards in wiki were nonexistent in packs mentioned, and even whole mechanics cut from the game (persona leveling or how it's called). I just opened recent videos to see a cards that doesn't drop, or mechanics that was nerfed(was it bleed or burn, or both? anyway, it's just wasn't working same way as in video). I finally dropped the game after days of grind, and weeks later someone made complete interactive up to date card guide. But at this point I was already empty.

You get stagger with gebura if you don't do damage while with E.G.O about 20~30 stagger damage I think, that's why you almost lost you run against Roland lol
i feel this game peaks in frustration and losing people in like unlock of tiphereth -> pre red mist by far cuz the overpowered strategies at that point are kind of hard to stumble across unless you really know what you're doing.
abno battles should also have a disclaimer when you unlock them that they can and should be done later if you feel like its unfair.
queen of hatred, red hood and cheseds floor realization are all really irritating when u unlock them imo and could def do with being made a tad bit easier.
