Almost done with my LEV60 EZTR. Hoping to put out a video when it is.

Consider showing a finished audio system with the batteries

I’ll let the car audio guys do that. These batteries are mostly used in solar setups and those customers buy larger quantities so Ive decided to use my limited time building those systems.

What's the expected cold weather performance of these cells? datasheets seem to be few and lack detail

I wish there was a pack you came up with that when after charging the battery was more than 13.3 volts at full rest. I have no use for a 16.5 volt pack. If the pack rested at 14.60 i would get more run time out of it.13.3 is not a very high voltage even though this is a full charged battery pack.

I have a suboverland conversion and need a 12V house battery. It needs to be the size of a standard car battery and be able to power a 3000W inverter. Can you help? Currently, I am using deep cycle lead acid with 100AH.

Would the lev60 cells be ok charging at 14.8v im just trying to learn was looking at doing the 4s2p module

14.8 is not horribly out of spec - but if you were using a bms it would trigger over voltage protection i think - but don't forget the reason jehu is adding a cell to this high end car audio use case - that said - for any cells - be they lev60 or others - as a general rule - always keep mind the things that can happen with over charging or fully discharging batteries over time...
      Reduced Cycle Life:
Full charge and discharge cycles contribute to a reduction in the overall lifespan of the battery. Lithium-ion batteries have a finite number of charge-discharge cycles, and deep cycling shortens their life.
      Heat Generation:
Charging to the maximum voltage and discharging completely can generate excess heat, which is detrimental to the overall health of the battery. Elevated temperatures contribute to faster degradation of the internal components.
      Safety Concerns:
Lithium-ion batteries are sensitive to overcharging and over-discharging. Constantly pushing a battery to its limits increases the risk of thermal runaway, which can lead to overheating, swelling, or, in extreme cases, combustion.
      Voltage Stress:
Charging to the maximum voltage and discharging completely exposes the battery to high voltage differentials, putting stress on the internal chemistry. This stress contributes to degradation and can compromise the stability of the battery.
      Loss of Capacity:
Regularly fully charging and discharging a lithium-ion battery can result in a gradual loss of capacity over time. The battery's ability to hold a charge diminishes, reducing its overall energy storage capabilities.
      Cell Imbalance:
Fully charging and discharging can lead to cell imbalances within a multi-cell battery pack. Over time, these imbalances can become more pronounced, affecting the overall performance and safety of the battery.
      Increased Internal Resistance:
Continuous exposure to high voltages and deep discharges increases the internal resistance of the battery. Higher internal resistance leads to energy loss in the form of heat during charge and discharge cycles.
Hth man - good luck with your build

Sounds like you shouldn’t use this in your car stereo system if you charging and discharging really hard!
