My new winter hobby along with many other wood working projects!
Since October of 2022 I have been woodworking with what tools I had. The idea was to have something to do during the winter months. While I have always liked anything made of wood, whether is is a deck or a carving, I just had a love for it.

You are so welcome! I am just trying different things that are "supposedly" good options to use for this purpose.

That's a good idea but the farther up the blade you go, the farther away from the reverse teeth the work gets leaving "the fuzzies" on the bottom of the wood. Also, if you do go with the idea of moving up the blade, plexiglass or plastic would be better than wood because it would be slicker. 😎✌️

This is true in regards to the reverse tooth blades. But that is not the only blade I use. It is the only blade I use for plywood for sure. Using wood for me is just fine, although MDF would be a better choice. This is all in the testing phase for me so I am using plywood with contact paper on the top to give that smooth surface.

Good concept, but I think your right the board would make cutting height different, almost
like starting over, also is it really worth the time to utilize just another 1/8" of the blade?

Actually, I am working on this concept at the moment and I am seeing that I am able to use at least 1" to 1.5" of new blade. I may upload another video mid week to show how I am doing it. Although, this is all experimental for me and I enjoy the challenge of making something work lol
