  • Paramahamsa Prajnanananda always teaches that we should remember and watch our breath all the time. As it is not always easy to do so, the world revered teacher often gets asked many questions on this practice. During his visit to his Homestead (Florida, USA) ashram in September 2010, he was asked a question - "How to remember the breath quickly when on is emotional?". This is a common situation in our lives. Watch this video to learn what Paramahamsaji has to say on this.
    Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji is a revered Kriya Yoga master who travels world over teaching Kriya Yoga and how to practice spirituality in daily lives. He is the current Guru in a long and unbroken lineage of Masters starting with Babaji Maharaj and including such spiritual giants as Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Swami Shriyukteshwar Giri, Shri Bhupendranath Sanyal Mahashaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, Swami Satyananda Giri, and Paramahamsa Hariharananda. Love this, thank you KYO team. Pranams and love to you and to Guruji. These type of videos are very helpful. In this society we are so full of stimulus and distraction that some reminder is needed because we keep forgeting.

    Isn't really beautiful that even when you don't focus on breath or you are absent-minded, breath happens!!!???....that is the basis of all multi-tasking...Isn't it ??? that is the beauty of it...Just imagine the reverse situation, where one has to really focus on the breath to have a single breath, now you can't focus on anything else other than the very breathing itself.......So isn't watching breath totally unnecessary............ Because why would one engage one's mind behind breathing, which would happen naturally and effortlessly without any kind of focus from on'es end, just like heart-beating....????

    • @redpillmatrix3046
      @redpillmatrix3046 2 роки тому

      Who told you we can't focus on anything else by watching breath ? Initially it's difficult but as you progress in Kriya you don't have to put effort, one part of mind will always watch the breath.

    • @sijojose470
      @sijojose470 2 роки тому

      @@redpillmatrix3046 ....You said one part of the mind will focus on the breath..that is exactly what, I was talking about......When the whole mind is available to focus, why only one part to focus on whatever activity you are doing???......Breath is an automatic thing, you don't have to put your mind behind it to make it happen....that is the beauty of it......Suppose, tomorrow, if you decide to put one part of your mind behind digestive process
      as well, naturally the focus will he shattered between different things, i.e, breath, digestion and the actual activity.....So the quality of your focus is compromised......Isn't it???
