- This video records one of the earliest discourses by Paramahamsa Hariharananda in the USA. Mahavatar Babaji had blessed and had prophesized in 1949 that Hariharanandaji (then Brahmachari Rabi Narayan) would spread the teachings of Kriya Yoga to East and the West. In fulfilling that prophesy Paramahamsa Hariharananda travelled to the West in 1974. This video was recorded at the Baptist Church at Manhattan, New York, USA on June 19, 1975. Here Paramahamsaji introduces Kriya Yoga as a scientific technique that leads to the simultaneous development of body, mind, intellect and soul. He tells the audience that all the religions talk about the perception, conception and realization of God, and there are thousands of scriptures available on those topics. However, human life is short and there are many obstacles on the way. We need the help of a Guide and a scientific technique to cultivate spirituality in our bodies which have become jungle of evil and darkness. One of his four Gurus, Paramahamsa Yogananda had described Kriya Yoga as the surest technique that provided the quickest means to success. Hariharanandaji goes on to talk about the invisible presence within and refers to Lord Jesus' teachings in the Bible about the seven churches and seven candle light in the churches. This video will warm the hearts of all viewers and inspire them to see and hear the energy, clarity and spiritual fervor in Hariharanandaji, referring to all in the audience as the "immortal, deathless souls" who are the "prototypes of God's thoughts". Wonderful videos,I want to know about the books by him I have been initiated in kriya yoga at Ranchi Ashram. will any disciple of Swami Hariharananda ji name the books by him(on techniques of kriya yoga)
he has written many books. visit their website. kriya yoga taught by paramahansa harihanandha lineage is more tense as it's not edited or simplified.
Kriya taught in yss has left out 2 important techniques, Harihananda lineage has it, because it comes from Sri yukteswar in 1st Kriya intiation.

@Ghaith Adib it requires transfer of energy from a realized master to the disciple via touch. how can you learn a technique like that from youtube ? its a sharing of practical knowledge of god-realisation from ancient times.

He has not read Koran otherwise he would not have mentioned Srimad Bhagavad Gita & Koran in the same sentence. He is an enlightened man, still he is comparing a terrorist book with our scriptures.
You do not have iota of knowledge, we cannot help if some one misinterpret it. same might happen with gita. do you know what they do in namaz? They are charging cerebellum spinal fluid bending back and forth. They put mat under so that energy does not flow to ground . If some one misuse gita to kill ones own without understanding what can god do. Because of saints like gurudev and Babaji Maharaj we can proudly say we are sanatani.
