Yeahhhhhh......Lee like you I have an affinity for cars from back in the day....Saahhhhhweeetttttttttt!!!!!! That Jag and the Caddy were my favs but all were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you imagine 70 years from now people drooling over a restored Kia? To say they don't make them like that anymore is right there on display.
Gone are the days when car designs were so distinctive and aesthetic. They all look the same now. I think I mistook a Mercedes for a Toyota recently. Or was it a Porsche? Could've been any of the above, really.
Brother Lee! From about the summer of 58 to the summer of 59, I lived north of Modesto in Tracy and Antioch. Truly very American Graffiti times. My 17 year old cousin,Fred, turned me on to the Everly Brothers. It was definitely a simpler time. The cars are beautiful. But back in the 50’s they were our way to get back and forth to work and such. We should have taken better care of them and ourselves. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. Have a great time. Sell a lot of books and keep thumpin Frankenstein! God The bless from Southern Utah.

Afternoon Leland, have fun tonight👍👍
Ohhh Leland…. I certainly could see you crew-zing around in that woody!!!….but then again….lots of those are very cool!! Can’t wait to see the flim!!!! 🌹🌹🪷❤️🥰🎶🙏🖕🖕🖕🖕👍🤠
The good thing…..you can actually work on em….small bag of tools….and yer all in….🌹🪷👍🤠
I loved seeing those cars; they are classic.
Those days had other features as well, gasoline was 20 cents a gallon, the weight of the car was never considered, electronic ignitions had not yet replaced points and their constant needed adjustment, suspensions were far from being considered too.
It was then the pinnacle time to be a mechanic whose skill were yet to be made obsolete; today the largest consumer and user micro computer chips is the modern automobile.
Progress its always a slippery slope as is nostalgia. 😉
How cool! As I've stated, nothing like Tedesco in Modesto....it's al fresco!
🎼🎶 Gonna drive me to drinkn` if you don't stop drivin` that Hot, Rod, Lincoln! 🎶
Beautiful automobiles…Hope you had fun🖕
Almost perfect tho the license plate on the Woody should be THX 138
I highly recommend LeLands Book. It’s full of treasures
'American Graffiti' is my all-time favourite movie. I need to be in Modesto.
Beautiful old cars. The ones you could work on yourself!
You would look great in any of them , but you don’t have much time to drive your own.
Ooooooooo... Nice cars. Thanks for sharing
Hey! We just bought my son’s first car in Modesto, but it wasn’t nearly so cool as these!
Drop Dead Gorgeous , haha Thanks for sharing!
Oh Oh...I see a new roadster to replace the one you sold.
Awesome cars! Like that hot rod Lincoln.
A man after my own heart. Beautiful! Looks like a lot of love went into those cars.
So great !!! Thanks for showing us 👌🏻
Morning ❤
What fun! Thanks for sharing 🤩
Vintage cars and here I am standing with nothing but a rubber heel! Hope everything goes well.

Make you want to go out and buy another one, Leland……..????
I’ll take that silver Lincoln towards the end…….👍
I love these old birds, but I am always amazed of how SMALL they actually are inside.
You're kidding right Vito? There's enough room in the backseat of most of those cars to have a small orgy. (not that I'd know of course)
Are classic vehicles,great passed Lee🚙🎸
Awesomeness 🎶 👌 👏 💜👩💜
Jewels for men.
😎 COOL!!
Sweet!
Great, I love. From Paris, Thank you so much Mr. Leland Sklar for all you do and take care of yourself.
Besides the cool cars, it was a great day meeting Leland and watching the outstanding Immediate Family documentary.
Don’t get me started about the ugliness of today’s car’s and truck’s …..
🚘🚘. Seems like any time I get anywhere near Monterey there's some sort of do with classic cars all over the place. Seems to happen a lot up there.
😎✌👍❤🖖
I appreciate you, thank you for making content.
Back in the 70's we used to fit 4-5 people in the trunk and sneak into the drive in. Ah the good old days.
@@hanspeterlillese2225 By the end of the night some could've passed for dead for sure, lol.
That's funny. . .
@@kateconway-hickman5945 Thank God we didn't have cell phones with cameras then, lol.
When lee cleaned the lens on his phone my headphones damn near leapt off my head! Maybe I should exercise a little volume control!
Thank you for this. I love going to these kinds of car shows
I can see you in that brown (Chrysler?).
I see the same sweet cars every year. But. That Immediate Family movie stole the show.
Some irrisistable curves out there.
thanku just love those old cars, enjoy
Classics both inside and outside the theater!
How cool is that?!!! Have a blast!!
Wow! Thank 😊 you! Very 😎
You definitely need a hot rod.
Welcome to the Big Valley, Lee
Those are some sweet wheels indeed.
Hi, bonjour 😍👍🙏
❤😊
Those are some awesome classics there, Lee. It's like being in a time machine looking at those classic cars. Beautiful craftsmanship. I'd almost rather spend money on one of those than a new car today. 😆
Love ya! ❤🎶🎸😎
Have you ever shaved your beard off ? I lopped mine off today can't look in the mirror the girls love it but...
Anyway great looking cars there .
My untrimmed beard is just 5 years but the Samson and Delilah story will give me pause to cut it. 😉
“While he slept, the faithless Delilah brought in a Philistine who cut Samson's hair, draining his strength. The Philistines took him prisoner, gouged out his eyes, and forced him to work as a draft animal, turning a mill in a Gaza prison.”
Don't cut you hair 😉
