I got super lucky deciding to randomly start collecting for the Sega Saturn between 2004-2006.. have a really solid unit, and a good stack of games in great condition!
My first console was a Sega Saturn and every time i've tried to go back and buy the games i played in my childhood it's been so expensive and hard to find
I feel like with some of these. It’s easier than you think. Don’t go for full sets cause you’ll just end up with games you’ll never play or never get around to playing. Just go for games you’ll actually sit down and play
@@JCtheComicGeek I’m just saying because I see a lot of people who do videos where they go for full sets or they just go for sealed and never have any intention of playing them. Which I always think if they’re not gonna play it what was the point in buying it
@@lewisgrant7622 oh I 100% agree! But you know the rich have like a classic car lot they never drive, or multiple houses they never use just a flex to them! I guess same can be saod for FS & sealed collectors sadly.
The Neo Geo AES is a weird animal. Technically, it's a console but it wasn't produced or sold like a consumer grade product. I get the appeal of owning one (both back then and now) but there are easier, cheaper ways of playing the same games with better controllers and fight sticks. Owning one now is more about collector prestige than being able to play real arcade games on a home CRT TV (the reason they were so expensive in the first place).
@@supermahmoud I have multiple that are either cracked or just straight up broken. With some of my games even the thing that holds the disc in are broken my ff ix the disc won’t even stay in properly
I learned with Saturn that just burning the games is the best way to go. The original games are insanely expensive
@Riz2336 I agree. Sometimes games are just out of our reach. Gamers gotta do what gamers gotta do

Love this channel! My video game home away from home
As a saturn owner I can confirm saturn games are a nightmare to collect compared to my ps1
The difficulty is the best part. Stuff that's easy to collect for doesn't feel as special.
I’ve never experienced disc rot. Mainly because I actually look after my games

@lewisgrant7622 that should be a given, since games were & are meant to be played!😂

If you want to talk about fragile cases look no further than pal Dreamcast and ps1 cases
Yeah! I collect PAL PS1 games and I can tell you the cases suck!

Well your wrong about sega cd being hard to get them see them all the time. Sega Saturn way more expensive than cd.
