Hi 🙂 Don't need to setup for each ship individually. Once set up for one, just aim with the scope at the others and shoot. AOB automatically updates on the S3 as long as they're not zigzagging, speeds the same, range and type doesn't matter for single shots. Just go for it . 🙂
You can mostly ignore ZigZagging once you have found a reliable direction of the convoy. It's a small variable compared to other factors (like distance and speed).
If you click the headphones on the dive setting, it dives to 50 meters and does a sound check and surfaces automatically and turns on the compressors to regain O2
You don't have to press H manually, you can set automatic Dive schedules. I set mines to dive every 4 hours, it's enough to catch anything that passes closeby.
Nice work on the multiple targeting. It was probably the angle of the second strike on the freighter that caused the dud, or maybe a saboteur at the factory. The timing was pretty good as both hit each target within 10 to 20 seconds. Practice makes perfect though.

They have the ability to travel long distances, they have all the upgraded bells and whistles such as the snorkel, hydrophone, and advanced torpedo's, upgraded AA and deck guns. Can't go wrong with late game U-boats
