"Do it to it" has always been one of my favorite songs from the 2000's "Crunk" Era. But I never really listened to any of their other songs. I still listen to "Do it to it" to this day when I am having a throwback moment. Based on observation from this video, it seemed like they became popular from a song that aligned with the "crunk" era and then all of the rest of their songs didn't align with the audience they had built. Almost every single song that was played in this video showcasing their other tracks were a lot slower and gave an R&B vibe. I wonder if that played a major role as to why the tracks never really took off like that one...
Amenisa is Grammy good. And their softmore album was fire. I think groups and r&b was fizzling out in 08 and alot of acts including ciara struggled. I think that and promotion was the problem. Plus domestic life for the older two sisters started to clash with the demand to perform and be seen was at a high. The younger two were single and no kids so they wanted to work more while the other two wanted more time to their family. Overall this group simply imploded. None the less these ladies are awesome and talented.
They needed to adopt the motto, "Stay Humble, Sit Down".!!! Stay dedicated, focused and working hard to perfect their craft. More success, money and fame could not escape them!!

I liked their two singles in HS, but not enough to actually buy their album, but I will say that show they did on BET really rubbed me the wrong way…their egos were wayy too big when there was actual legends on that show that didn’t even have egos like the twins
