Yo! After I made this vid, we saw some HUGE price changes right now! UltraBoost20 only $88!! and Nike Infinity React is now $120! Link in description to see all my other sneaker sale deals! Have a good Sunday everyone
bla bla bla it’s not that they fell, it’s that other brands caught up, and made way more comfortable foams that are on actual running shoes, the pinnacle of which being zoomX from Nike.
bla bla bla As a sneakerhead, idc, still the best tech out there to me, even compared to react. As a hypebeast at times, then yeah they did. With nike, they live off their old models and reiterate that by collaborating with a hot artist or designer. You cant help but like familiarity.
Im a runner and I love shoes that have great response. Nike pegasus turbo and the nike next% have insane cushion while maintaining great response! and they are also stupid light. adidas UB are noticeably heavier than most nike runners but have more of a cloud like feel, so it doesn’t really enhance your performance if you take running at a fast pace seriously. the UB are great if you just wanna use em as casual walkers tho
My last main pair was hoka bondi 6. My current daily shoe is UB 19. I much prefer the 19. This is from a guy who uses them for walking n standing for 8+ hours a day. I honestly don't understand the hype around the bondi 6. As soon as this virus thing is over with, I am gonna try out the react shoes. And hes, thanks for posting all the sales. I just got a pair of UB 20 for 88. Hope it is as good as 19. I read that it has less boost than 19.
Hi Hes! Love your videos! I have a question, of all models of the videos, which one would you say is the most comfortable for a combination of flat fleet and overpronation? I use ultraboost ST and I found them awesome for comfort and stability but are also a bit heavy!
I highly recommend you try the Brooks Transcend 6 if you have flat feet. After you break in the DNA Loft, it's dummy soft. Like DUMMY soft. Definitely try it, or the glycerin which is the neutral/high arch version.
I work at and am the footwear buyer for a running store and you're gonna want to try the Clifton which they also make in a wide. The Stinson is meant to be more firm and stable in the Hoka line
I have a similar flatfoot and weigh about 150lbs I owned a pair of nike reacts for maybe a week the shoe felt amazing the first 2 days after that the shoe already began to get torn up on the bottom and lost that bouncyness the only shoe that hasn't lost its comfort is my beat to the ground ultraboosts but I cannot afford a new pair wish I could find a pair that kept that comfort level. At a more affordable price point especially for a high schooler with no job.
Which one would you consider or think would be the best for someone with diabetic foot pain I use Adidas ultra boost 3.0 right now but do you think the 2020 ultra boost is better or one of the other ones
Hey Hes! Can I get your opinion on what is the most comfortable shoe you have tried so far! What I am looking for in comfort is the softest, most cloudlike ride I can get.
Hoka Bondi 6 is by far the best Mac cushion but they just dropped a new crazy shoe that I think you would like to try. The midsole is nuts!!! It’s called the tennine. I’d be curious to see a casual review on it. It’s too expensive for me to chance on casual.
I remember trying on a pair of Pegasus turbos in a store after wearing 350s all day, and they didn't feel that soft in comparison. Maybe it's because they were brand new and not broken in yet idk
Idk you gotta remember that 350s are way too soft to run in, the peg turbo is still a performance oriented shoe, so it's not gonna be near as gooey as the 350 because it'd lose all of the good response that it has
They probably weren’t broken in, i own a ub 20 and a few 350s and when i bought a pegasus turbo I could notice it was wayy more cloud feeling, infinity react is on par with ub tho.
For Hoka, they created a casual shoe called the Clifton Opening Ceremony, which is based off of the Clifton 3 (last good year for the clifton), but the rocking sensation is part of what makes it a good running shoe for Hoka (Hoka is really a love it or hate it brand, without an in between since they are so different). I also like their Ora Recovery stuff to recover after harder runs, though I default to crocs a lot of the time for recovery days. The Altra Timp might be an interesting shoe, with a maximalist sole and a zero drop (meaning the heel is at the same level as the forefoot, rather than being elevated). I also don't think a lot of people will give Altra a chance because of their shape. A really good brand for a combinition of cushion and responsiveness for daily training is 361 degrees, who use a carbon plate in their daily trainers. A lot of their US represenatives compare it to Asics, which is a fair comparison. But I find the arches to aggressive, and 361 does not have that issue. For a very comfortable foam, I'd recommend the Brooks Glycerin (their max-cushions, neutral shoe). That is a very remarkably soft shoe. With running, and flat feet, maybe you would want a support shoe like the Adrenalin, which has guide rails to correct over pronation and help protect your ankle. Skechers HyperBurst is really good, though the MaxRoad is too much stack height for me, and I go with the GoRun Ride 8. Also, it is important for people to remember that Skechers Performance is a different company from Skechers (in the same way Converse is separate from Nike) and has different designers working for them. But even in the running world, people are hesitant towards Skechers (and them going to $100 is not helping them). The Nike Pegasus is a favorite among runners, though some people don't like the brand image of Nike. I have not gotten a change to try out react for myself, but I have heard good things about it. Ultraboost is unresponsive compared to the other technologies out there, and I don't really like it. Adidas is really fading in the running world.
So, Im super confused between infinity react and Ultraboost 20/19, I'm heavy and had a back surgery last years and recovering just started working out, so need to minimise the imapact on my back and knees while training? Im looking for something that had better impact absorption rather than bounce back.
What kind of training? Running? If running I think you’re better off with the reacts but it honestly comes down to personal preference. I have both and the boost is a tiny bit softer but I prefer jogging in my epic reacts.
@@ignignokt-6050 Running had been reduced, though I still go for treadmill for only 10 mins, rest is crossfit, circuits and strength. The ideal is to minimise the impact on my back before I change my running style on back as I run on my heel.
1080v10 my fav as well! Wanted to try the Skechers Max Road 4 in store but they didn't have my size. Will get them if they go on sale, for hobby jogging though, not casual!
@@Okokok938 Also notice how all the shoes he is talking about were first meant to be running shoes and if you've seen any of his reviews he talks about how responsive the foams are.
I run in the Triumph 17 and 1080v10, both are amazing. The traction of the 17s is ridiculous. Hes, since you like the Fresh Foam X, check out the Hierro 5, great aesthetic and so comfy for hiking/trail running with the Foam X
I always wonder what shoes has better cushioning/cloudlike feels compare to UBv1. Then you made this video! The perfect answer to my question. Thanks a lot Hes! 😁
Thanks Hes. Love your reviews. From a runners perspective your first two picks are the best for running.. The Turbo 2s and 1080v10's are awesome for running.
Hi Hes, your reviews are awesome. Here a suscriber from Argentina. I want you to know that I have to wear very cushioned shoes due to a hip problem, and your reviews have been really helpful for me to know about cushion techs and to buy the appropriate shoes for me. I love Nike Pegasus Turbo, Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 and Nike Fly Flyknit with fiber carbon plate (I have narrow feet so they are awesome for long distance walking). Thank you!
Would also recommend the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 5, New Balance 990V4 and V5, and the Asics Gel-Lyte V. Without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I've owned, and I generally prefer them over boost these days.
Great video , in my case since I try the ultraboost i couldnt go back love them and took advantage of buying when on sale and always looking to keep buying . One thing I dont do is wait till they drop to under a 100 people go crazy so as soon I see them 150 and under I order. So great shoes for anything pretty much
Hes I reckon you'd prefer one of the Hoka One One road models. Such as the Clifton or the Rincon. Pretty comfy! The Rincon has the massive soft midsole but crazy crazy light!
Brighton Caruthers Yea the Clifton 6 is cloud like. But watchout for the arch, is not very flat foot friendly. But at least they make a wide version. 1080v10 still my fav this year!
The peak taichi running shoes and the underground are very confortable, just as good if not better than boost cushioned hoop shoes. Hope you get review it.
Yo! After I made this vid, we saw some HUGE price changes right now! UltraBoost20 only $88!! and Nike Infinity React is now $120! Link in description to see all my other sneaker sale deals! Have a good Sunday everyone
Most of my motivation for pursuing sneakers is based off the comfort of the ultraboost. Exactly the content I’m looking for. Good stuff, Hes.
Same, like Hes I legitimately thought that Boost and React were the only technologies to look out for until very recently.
Just like Air Max day, there will be an Ultra boost day in the future.
I love that, what day would it be lol
Hes Kicks the first day the og ultraboost model came out, or maybe august 5...BooSt, 8oo5t lol
Is there any hype around the ultraboost and adidas in general anymore? They fell down hard.

Ever thought a pair of Skechers would ever make any of these lists
Allen Harder never!!
I can’t wear sketchers no matter how comfortable they are. My feet are allergic to that brand.
ignignokt - haha me too!
Skechers arr comfy, but they don't last very long and they give my feet a foul odor
Brooks Glycerin running shoes also have that squish effect. They are super comfy.

I want the ultraboost PBs but the midsole is encased with primeknit
Bro, the Hoka Clifton 1 was the jam! Bought a pair, soooooo cloudlike 🥰 and hardly wear them out because they are hard to come by.
unsunghero007 that model is the best looking imo I should try!

Absolutely

For the most comfortable hoka try the bondi 6 I’ve heard ppl in the medical field they use them and they have the be on their feet for 12 hours
youd wanna try peak taichi
have both the bondi 5 & 6, the seam on the 6’s busted open after afew months, so i went back to the 5’s and they’re still great and in tact
How would you compare the Nike Joyride Run to ultraboost?
joyride is bricks compared to UB

Hes since you have flat feet like me what is the most comfortable in your opinion. On concrete for 10 hours a day and need some comfort
Wish Hes would customize those skechers uppers... paint, dip, or something. I'd like to try that hyperburst tech but the uppers keep me away.🤔
Hes Kicks please do this!!!
Antonio Del Carmen maybe sole swap lol
Hes Kicks 🤔Dunno... maybe? You're the genius! Just something to improve the uppers on the skechers.🙏🏼👍🏻
