question ummmm after watching the video I was wondering has anybody tried to use Julie as a simple J Eddie is E and so on? I don't know but I am just curious follow the instructions given and just spell out a word I have no idea if it it works or not
One thing I will say is that I think isolation is what makes the neighbors vulnerable to whatever force is targeting them. The attack on Eddie started when he was left alone in his house during homewarming. The force attacking the neighbors is only able to harm them when they are excluded from the shenanigans of the neighborhood and are forgotten about. Somehow being prevalent in the neighborhood wards it off.
I know it's a Cask of Amontillado reference, but I think since it's a kids' show, it might also be a small reference to 'The Sad Story of Henry' from Thomas & Friends

Although i agree that the News page could be hinting at the key, I also want to note that Clown has previously teased on his Tumblr that the next update would be Julie-centric (promotional art of a flower before it blooms, contextually being in the beginning of spring since it was posted after the Homewarming update). So it could very well just be that these mini Halloween mini-updates are a seasonal commemoration. After all, we didnt really get any puzzles with last year's Halloween update, so it's not like EVERY update will have a solvable puzzle. The News page very well could just be confirming the next update to be Julie-centric.
do you have a source for this? im a huge fan of jim henson and have never heard of a wally character being pitched for the muppet show. however, he did have a different muppet (nigel) hosting the show rather than kermit in the pilot episode. kermit was jim's first muppet ever so he has always been around.

just went to an Edgar Allan Poe play yesterday, so the amount of influence from him in this update is *very* timely for me, especially because two of the stories they did in the play involved the protagonist hiding their victim by sealing them inside a house
So far no one else online has cracked anything either, which is crazy since someone usually finds something right away. Even I tried different versions of the spiral and even attempted using the neighborhood page again just in case but nothing happened Looks like this is another sit and wait case

With Eddie Dear's dark enlightenment during Homewarming, it'll be especially interesting to see how things pan out... Right at the start, I'm getting the impression that Sally's latest play is going to end up being the King in Yellow. *Sally:* "Come now, Eddie; we've all unmasked, and now it's your turn!" *Eddie:* "Well, gee, uh, I dunno how to tell y'all, but... this?" _Eddie Dear gestures to his newfound indescribable visage._ "This ain't no mask!" *Poppy:* "No mask... NO MASK!" *Sally:* "...of course. I should have known. You just couldn't help peeking at my exotic imports, could you, Mister Dear?" ...I guess I wasn't TOO far off with the gothic literature. That damnable manuscript has brain-poisoned me already, and I've barely finished "The Mask" (I picked up that cursed tome for some nighttime reading). ...speaking of things that rhyme with mask, I reckon Poppy's going to need a big glass of a certain Andalucían sherry by the end of this record. And unlike a certain nobleman, I reckon Poppy would be able to distinguish it from more conventional sherries. Hell, she's probably used it to amp up the flavour of a hearty beef stew, while taking modest nips of the bottle when no-one's watching. ...it seems that Poppy achieved her own "enlightenment" for a moment. And in the process, was visited by something from outside... ...or worse, something from INSIDE...
The puppets have addressed the narrator in these types of stories before. Whether they are just breaking the fourth wall or are a bit more aware is hard to tell.
My GOSH I just had a brainstorm and I hope I can remember so I can comment about this next tine WH updates. So the name of the series: Welcome Home. Like a nice little welcome mat placed at the door to make you feel welcome. BUT!! What if isn’t a statement, but an order? What if the show’s purpose is being told directly by the title: you should be welcoming home in. Home wants in, and we are going to convince you to welcome it!!
I do have one theory but it might be a bit out there: has anyone else noticed that Sally seems to be almost like a trigger to event in the last few updates? In that she told the story in the last Halloween update (about something coming out at night), she was the one that encountered Eddie in the Home warming update before he had his disassociating episode, and in this update, she is pretty much the main focus of the story (in that she is putting on this play and trying to help Poppy). While I am not 100% sure about this, we know Sally wants to be an actor/star so maybe she had some kind of resentment towards Wally getting all the love and attention from people when the show first aired, when he is content with just just painting, drawing and just living his life, so maybe she might actually be behind everything hoping people might pay more attention to her this time around, because who benefits more from having a bunch of eyes on them; the person who seemed content with his life regardless of what happened airing wise, or the person wanting to be an actor/actress?
for some reason I'm getting star bound robot vibe's, like they don't actually know they are puppets and everything they see is through some sort of puppet vision "you" is just the camera man or camera/recorder/mic and there entire world is in a Wearhouse they don't know anything about the world other then what they get from "letter" and stuff and if a character isn't doing well marketing wise then then they disappear into the back on a trip to never come back

Is it possible that it's not just the order that is mirrored (going from right to left) but the inputs themselves. Since the idea you gave is that this is the back cover, the left and right is flipped, the direction the "eyes" are pointing are also mirrored. So, we start with Julie. The next is pointing bottom left, which we flip to point bottom right, so rather than Eddie it's Barnaby. Then Howdy, Eddie, Eddie. And so on. That's my initial thought.
Something of note, the characters who get shoved off the show are the ones who might have something a bit… queer going on. It has been implied that Sally and Poppy have a thing going on and it is canon that Frank and Eddie are a couple.

Allowing us to engage with what the art or series itself is trying to ascribe on its own terms and merits. seriously slap that single phrase at the start of a media literacy 101 class-it captures the essence of approaching art with a willingness to let it reshape us with its potentiality ( this last bit still doesnt capture what we mean but its close enough )
That actually stood out to me too as a general fiber artist and crocheter of 13 years, too! I don’t really mind, though, it’s understandable. I’ll have to take a closer look at the illustration later to see what Poppy’s holding and if it’s a hook or needles.

You get the names of the characters by reading the directions of the eyes with the sticker page, but THEN imo you plug that in to numbers using their place in the chain above the book. Wally = 1, Barnabus = 2 etcetera. Then you plug those numbers either into a url or somewhere else That’s my thinking so far

When it comes to the code, wouldn’t it make more sense that the code letters are based on who Home is looking at? Which you do for all 8 except for the one in the middle. Home isn’t looking at Home ‘H’ the same as Howdy, wouldn’t it make more consistent sense if it was ‘Y’ You - because we’re a neighbour too and it’s looking at us?
Giving that they gave the guest book back, I wonder if the book cover puzzle (if it is one) is tied to that? Each image's main focus seamed to be sets of three by three panels instead of trying to make four by three panels fit .

That actually stood out to me too as a general fiber artist and crocheter of 13 years, too! I don’t really mind, though, it’s understandable. I’ll have to take a closer look at the illustration later to see what Poppy’s holding and if it’s a hook or needles.

You get the names of the characters by reading the directions of the eyes with the sticker page, but THEN imo you plug that in to numbers using their place in the chain above the book. Wally = 1, Barnabus = 2 etcetera. Then you plug those numbers either into a url or somewhere else

When it comes to the code, wouldn’t it make more sense that the code letters are based on who Home is looking at? Which you do for all 8 except for the one in the middle. Home isn’t looking at Home ‘H’ the same as Howdy, wouldn’t it make more consistent sense if it was ‘Y’ You - because we’re a neighbour too and it’s looking at us?
Giving that they gave the guest book back, I wonder if the book cover puzzle (if it is one) is tied to that? Each image's main focus seamed to be sets of three by three panels instead of trying to make four by three panels fit .
have you tried taking a picture of the "finger prints" turning it into a transparency, and put that upon the stickers?
