…I tell you what, these marathon uploads of OTR are fantastic! I waste a lot of evenings being totally entertained….unlike this era’s idea of “entertainment”!!!!!
You are so right Jerry. I love that you can hear the whole story at one time. TV is a wasteland. I grew up with the real oldies of the 1950s as a small child and thoroughly enjoyed them. I was working full time when the 60s and 70s so I missed those. My uncle had the first tv in our town and I thought there was nothing better. To see what tv has become makes me think we really had it better back then with our radio mysteries. Being trapped in a body that no longer works I am so very grateful for Johnny Dollar and others like it. It’s a godsend. You have a great time listening and be assured I am sitting right here listening with you!
@@emilythompson3605 maybe someday, if a few more die-hard listeners like you and I, increase, some enterprising producer will begin radio shows like mysteries and comedies that rival even the golden age of radio…probably not but one can dream…shalom….
@@emilythompson3605 yes I definitely will and you keep me informed also…I’m so tired of tv, “reality” shows etc. shows you how our country is, by and large, getting even more stupid!
It took me a few episodes to figure out who Charles Russell sounds like and it finally came to me, Don Adams. Get Smart, Tennessee Tuxedo. I almost expect him to say “I missed it by that much”.
Great stories Dino, some of the best Johnny dollar I've heard! Made it to the" Fishing Boat Affair." A really fun chat last night as well ☺️ enjoy your day dino, gonna tackle some yard work today.
There are so many OTR shows but some of them truly are annoying. Johnny Dollar is just straight story. No jealous dames. No dickheads. No dorky stories. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great series. Enjoyed it a lot. But the writing…. Especially the last six episodes in this collection….. a rookie writer at best. Not the quality of Johnny Dollar adventures as others I’ve heard, even in this series. Fascinating how different writers captured the world of JD and evolved immensely to the Jack Johnstone episodes starring Bob Bailey. Thanks for publishing this.
Sold my TV years ago; had to find a new, or old, form of entertainment, and oh boy did I EVER. These are fantastic. I thank you sooooooo much.
This stream featured some of the oldest Johnny Dollar episodes I've ever heard. Great stuff!
thanks rtn
Great stuff!! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love Johnny Dollar !!! ❤️

Can’t wait to hear this show! Thank You!
Hope you enjoy it!
Although I prefer Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar, I really like the plot lines and humor of these episodes.
WOOHOO 🎉
THANKS CONNIE
@@thelatelatehorrorshow your welcome Dino ❤️
Thanks
Welcome
Im a Bob Bailey guy, but Charles Russell has grown on me
What a job…he’s ALWAYS getting into fights 😫

Love your radio shows. I remember on vacation trips losing these while driving but won't lose these
B list actors on some of these
Expense account....😅💜
This version of Johnny Dollar sounds much more jovial than Bob Bailey’s portrayal of the character also much less manly.

Always get a kick out of hearing the old school Mid-Alantic accent.
Not Bobby Bailey. Sad face 😔😔😔😔
You can't always get what you want 😜
I agree, he is the be-all-end-all. He had the best voice and the best cadence!!

Wow. The Taxi Cab episode is really trying hard to be The Maltese Falcon...
not sure what to make of the emphasis on the show being "transcribed"
Prefer Bob Bailey also.
