Great interview but the interviewer was way off when he said there aren't many Latino metal bands. Latin America and specially Mexico has a rich history of metal. Theirs a ton of metal bands in Mexico.
Thank you! I don't mean there are no _latin American_ metal bands as such (I know many from Brazil and Mexico), but most of them don't seem to sing in Spanish. At least they are not that known in Finland or Europe, I guess?
And I must say I can't think bands from Argentina, for example. I know bands from Chile, too. Some from Colombia.
Actually one of my favourite bands is from Mexico: Xibalba!
Yep, I know them, and remember The Chasm being quite good. Seems like they are US located nowadays. Of all Mexican metal bands I know, Xibalba would be my favourite one!
@@RautaMetal we have a plenty of metal bands in Argentina and the most popular in spanish, our music history is well know in all Latino América and Spain but the fact non of this bands sings in English makes them unpopular to non spanish speaking countries. You can search Rata Blanca, A.N.I.M.A.L, Almafuerte, for example and there's many others to name.

He sounds like he was raised in the US, still speaks Spanish fluently but it sounds off, some of the consonants are too soft or he uses the wrong vowels, some words will be wrong, and so forth. But that's normal for a second-gen and honestly nothing to be ashamed of, though in Mexico it might raise eyebrows.

My favorite Mexican band is 'Ex-Inferiis', especially their demo 'Ngul a crist'.

Fun fact: "Ngul a crist" is italian Apulian dialect. It means "fuck christ" or "in the ass of christ". The Ex Inferiis guy knew a band from Apulia that used those words as a catchphrase, so he used it to name the demo. Real story.

i know many Metal bands from Mexico, the thing that they still being unknown doesn't mean México does not have Metal bands , well all latin countries have Metal maybe the scene is not big as it is in Europe but believe it we do have good METAL BANDS in this side of the globe .

The drummer is Cradle of Filth's original drummer, the guitarist is Shane Embury from Napalm Death, and this singer's Spanish is not very good and he's from San Diego. I like this band a lot, but they're just a band

yo so ive had their cd in high school and the cd =? it was a long time ago but viva president trump ive been using as a protest song cuz you can tell just from the cover with a machete through a replica of Donald trumps head that they mean business and I started looking up the lyrics or the biography of the band but you cant find it in English its all in Spanish which is extremely confusing for somebody that took Spanish 2 and got a C after taking Spanish 2 in college three times in a row to get an F another F and then a D . so I started to feel this band may take things too far like they look like they could be real killers or real drug dealers and they have a lot of guns and machetes that look real so I'm starting to question how legal this band is. but as soon the homegirl in this video said " kill Donald Trump" like they might actually do it and then the singer of brujeria said that if "Donald trumps vision comes true mexico will go to war with the u.s.a. " and then he pussyfooted around the "kill Donald trump " trying to sugarcoat and pretend like that's not what they actually mean I think it is what they mean hes just trying to not go too far cuz he knows they are real and serious and you don't just say something as serious as that until you have some serious back up and a serious plan

Secondly I have a bigger problem with legal immigration as that enables the immigrants to not only apply for social welfare programs but also puts them on a fast tracking to voting. Even if we agree to the fake "official 12 millinon number" which are absolutely false let me ask you this. If 12 million poor Slavs came into Mexico with their hand out, demanding you open the borders and give them welfare do you think the culture would change? Would Mexican people and authorities be ok with that? Rhetorical question, we know the answer to this.
