@Chad Chadington KBS is Ryan from Canada. We allow the Boogie Brew name to be used by him as a separate product in that country. There's no "deal", we are open source and if someone in another country wants to provide a tea mix of their own, (while using the Boogie Brew name), then as long as no chemicals are involved, we are OK with it. Exporting natural agricultural ingredients to Canada is a non-starter for us, so Ryan's blend of ingredients is based on products he is able to source there. Hey guys if you take molasses and feed bacteria or essential bacteria you can compost rotten fruits ,fish scraps, table scraps to make tea. Use this in the soil and man at the worms you can benefit . John is the crocodile hunter of organic gardening.. Josh is brilliant the 2 together are like listening to 2 professors at once fight for the mic, its great good times.. i might only watch the ones w josh in them. thanks.. thanks for the lesson
That's true. You don't need sugar to produce a great quality cannabis plant and buds. I did an experiment where I grew 2 plants of the same strain one using brown sugar and blackatrap molasses and one plant without any sugars. And my conclusion is that the one plant with the sugars produced some great quality buds while the one without the sugar also produced great quality buds. It's a personal preference one I can do without. But if I were to use sugar I would only use it at the beginning, middle, and end,
Save your money! I’ve been using blackstrap molasses for years . I tried something different plants on one of my plants. Are used distilled water which has a higher pH and I put 1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Just an experiment. I couldn’t believe how much better it turned out than the others.
Love you guys together. Have to watch every video with the two of you more than once. Also I wanna see a picture of John as a child because I feel like he probably looks the same as he does now lol
I grind up malted barley and throw 10 oz. of it in a batch of tea to feed the microbes. Available at your local brewing store in 50 lb. sacks. Great enzymes, sugars and roughage for the fungi to grab on to.
@@bluejay3945 Yeah, sure. I use to brew back in the day (that bag of grain is over ten years old). I use an old timey hand grain grinder and set it to a course grind. From that I'll scoop out 10 or so oz. and add it to the tea to power the microbes. It's pretty much a standard Actively Aeriated Compost Tea recipe; 1 cup of guano, 1 cup of compost, 1 cup of worm castings, and a couple heaping tablespoons of the following (kelp, crab meal, alfalfa, Bio-Live) and 10 oz of ground grain. I bubble it up in 2 gallons of water for 12 or so hours and once I've beaten the foam back top it up with water to 5 or so gallons total. I top dress with the remnants and water that in with the tea. Apply once every 1 or 2 weeks. I've done it weekly and the only thing it fails to do is burn the plants!
@@TarkMcCoy 😍. Love it. Thank you. That’s an awesome tea. I’ll plan on using the barley in my tea then. That Bio live is the Espoma product? Your plants have hit the jack pot. What’s been the most significant effect from your tea use?

I just go down to a farming area near me, at night, with a few bags and a shovel, and fill the bags up with their soil on their fields cause man that stuff is black!! And grows!!
Raw sugar is best. Brown sugar varies, dark has some molasses but light has very little. Raw sugar contains all the molasses. A jar of Grandma's unsulphured molasses will last a year for 4 dollars in my experience.
Josh is a very knowledgeable dude I take allot of his long talks in love to meet the guy iv got my first time legal grow going on as we speak 2nd week bloom and there gonna be very large very large John your also very knowledgeable I’m for sure not taking anything away from you!
Love you Josh your the best. You had me cracking up! Anyways yes I gave all my bottles away, along with a small light to a newer grower who lives and dies with the bottle. I now make all my own nutes by fermentation of the plants that I am growing. I just finished my first grow using this method and I will never look back. If growers need a bloom finisher. Just look to the grocery store anf ferment certain ripened fruits. Look up what each one offers and implement it in the ferment. Can use molasses, or organic brown sugar 1-1 for fermentation. Happy growing yall
@@Bongwell420 pomegranate if I remember without looking it up in my notes is a high phosphorus and calcium source. Strawberries is another high calcium source. Along with vitamin b like I said going from memory here and mine is stoned at the moment lol.
Do your research, however I learned in my second year botany class at the University of Kentucky, in 1995, that Magnesium Sulfate a.k.a. Epsom Salt is an excellent flushing agent. It not only adds MagSulf but binds to nitrate salts and flushes them from your growing medium.
Tablespoon per gallon once a month or so is what I've been using since the 80's definitely unlocks things and allows the plant to get the nutrients it likes unlocks it from deficiencies...Works great there are much cheaper better products than going to a grow store...I know a bunch of tricks cheap ones
9:40 I gotta defend Scott, Nectar for the gods. aka "natures nectar".. Aphrodite's is expensive, but it works amazingly! I don't know what they do. They probably use humic acids to pre breakdown the sucrose to make it more plant bio available. I grow with super soil/ living soil, and I only add a few things. This is one them... Ive tried every other sugar source, nothing else compares. Big up Scott Ostrander. I learned so much him.... Edit: the potassium phosphate that's in it, That you mention latter in the video. Im pretty sure they add the smallest amount, to change the ph, so its shelf stable. If it were just sugar and water, it would ferment and blow up lol. 99.9% organic
My experience has been with FF and Agave, always flavorful and great results, definitely different than any dispensary grade, I say better than commercial top shelf. I even flush with it, last 2 grows I used no sugars until the flush and tried regular granular store bought sugar. Last 2 harvest's we're just as good as using the whole grow throughout.
This video was awesome! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insights with us. I'm sure I speak for the entire class when I say you're both very much appreciated. Also, does Josh have his own UA-cam channel?

Dude some Legends mang.. Oh... you just made me realize that Trichoderma fungus is the way to go mang. You add all the organic stuff and you are good to go mang with trich mold. Can't wait to get my grow on and again thank you guys so much for awesome information !
When do I start using molasses? And how would I mix it in a one gallon water can? I have it and thank the kids would love to watch the progress. Science experiment. We just mixed in Mel's mix, but I didn't have as many different compost resources as I wanted but it is an improvement. I added neem seed meal as well. I need to bring up calcium, phosphorus and potassium . I had blossom end rott in my tomato last year. I have never grown cannabis. What are your go to resources? Just an FYI I have a " balcony forest" with flowers.
You can use blackstrap molasses through the whole growth cycle, but I usually start using it at the transition to flower. As far as resources goes the Teaming with series is extremely useful even though it's not cannabis specific. There are lots of good UA-cam videos on cannabis and a few of my favorites are Mr grow it and his gang, seed to stoned, Mr Canucks grow, and the dude grows show. Hope this helps.

Go EASY on Sea90 : While it can significantly boost microbial activity and stimulate soil life, (due to the unique "spark" on electrical frequencies from its full complex of tertiary elements), Sea90 is a SALT and will build up in containers and raised bed gardens.... Please realize that Sea90 can burn plants if sodium is applied too much. Therefore we recommend using just a pinch here and there, (treat it like a salt on food). One last tip: Sea90 is a super salt and excellent for electrolytes in our own bodies. They also sell a food grade version ("Baja Gold - Seasons 90"). It is the identical product but packaged in food processing facility. So if you find that you have more Sea90 than can be used on your plants, remember to consume as a truly superior salt. We especially recommend that if you are someone who works outside and sweats a lot, (most gardeners!) or an endurance athlete. (I'm a hard core bike bum). So feel free to add a pinch to your water bottles, (I add tiny amounts along with the usual Emergen-C powders, etc). Let us know what you experience if you experiment with it that way. (we love feedback)

John is the crocodile hunter of organic gardening.. Josh is brilliant the 2 together are like listening to 2 professors at once fight for the mic, its great good times.. i might only watch the ones w josh in them. thanks.. thanks for the lesson
Here is my poor boy sugar solution…. 2 large onions through a blender with 5 gallons of water add this to tea.
Thanks again John. We love this series in NZ
Your product is amazing, the more you tell me not buy it, the more I will.
I love you guys supper real
Another Jhon and Josh video, they are the best!
Love you guys together. Have to watch every video with the two of you more than once. Also I wanna see a picture of John as a child because I feel like he probably looks the same as he does now lol
please keep making videos with this guy (He is a cannabis scientist). thanks!
I will get some boogie brew nd try just because you guys are so humble honestly
And a healthy dose of vitamin love. Love the energy. Love the honesty.
I grind up malted barley and throw 10 oz. of it in a batch of tea to feed the microbes. Available at your local brewing store in 50 lb. sacks. Great enzymes, sugars and roughage for the fungi to grab on to.
Hey tark would love to have more detail. Just got 10 lbs from my local brewery but I’m debating on how to apply. Any information greatly appreciated
@@TarkMcCoy That's a bad-ass tea recipe 👌, you are a friggin genius, (for real).
@@TarkMcCoy 😍. Love it. Thank you. That’s an awesome tea. I’ll plan on using the barley in my tea then. That Bio live is the Espoma product? Your plants have hit the jack pot. What’s been the most significant effect from your tea use?
@@TarkMcCoy that's awesome...I'm gonna stop by my local brewery this week.
Finally I been searching the internet forever for a video like this 🙌 👏
Thanks for the information. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. You also save me money.
You guys are history In the making 🏆much love
As a youngin in the cannabis world it's cool to see someone talking about how they were affected by operation green merchant. So crazy
Josh!!! the man ! I'll hit you up to order again soon. been sending people from Tucson / AZ to you ! press that like button !!!! these guys are awesome .
and date sugar is the best !
Love you guys! You provide so many knowledge it is so interresting to hear from yall passionate persons thank you very much!
You guys are stoned! Great show! Thanks!
Boogie brew is the product I have been using for years and years and years. It’s the one thing I still use actually, it’s the only thing I started and still use many years later.
Started my week 7 flush this morning with a 25 gallon batch of boogie brew tea.
Perfect timing because this is exactly what I just typed in to search as I’m in the market now
Sup Folks
Scott Here
Dont sell yourself short, the knowledge is the $, people are lucky youre willing to share it. Your product sounds Dope. I still piece all my stuff together. Well, i buy my medium these days, but i used to mix that, too. For those of us who were "country", when country wadn't cool. Thank you for sharing
I just go down to a farming area near me, at night, with a few bags and a shovel, and fill the bags up with their soil on their fields cause man that stuff is black!! And grows!!
So your a thief 👍 robbing chemically fertilised soil
I use brown sugar because it’s cheap and has molasses content, I’m not building grand pianos just growing a couple plants
How you dose it bro?
Raw sugar is best. Brown sugar varies, dark has some molasses but light has very little. Raw sugar contains all the molasses. A jar of Grandma's unsulphured molasses will last a year for 4 dollars in my experience.
Josh is a very knowledgeable dude I take allot of his long talks in love to meet the guy iv got my first time legal grow going on as we speak 2nd week bloom and there gonna be very large very large John your also very knowledgeable I’m for sure not taking anything away from you!
Blessed to see another episode with josh and you again! Excellent information🎉
Cantaloupes and bananas for the win baby!!
@@Bongwell420 strawberries, pomegranate, banana, Mellon, spaghetti squash, and a few others
@@littlenugs9942 nice never thought of pomegranates, are they done the same way? I make spaghetti squash bombs and cantaloupe. Pretty amazing actually
@@Bongwell420 yes sir (1-1) molasses or organic brown sugar.
You just need Pauly Shore in there and then you won’t be able to tell who is who if you close your eyes
lol go ahead and throw in Tom Green :) Before he got rich.
I may leave my wife for Josh. He’s just that powerful. In fact my wife may leave me for Josh. It’s a friggin competition
Looking a lot like Chairman Mao in this video. Excellent as usual.
Josh can totally be a comedian, just his sarcastic face expression is hilarious. Great video, tons of knowledge. Thanks John for the video
Whats FF?
Fox farm nutrients
Agave syrup? Smaaaart thanks
This video was awesome! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insights with us. I'm sure I speak for the entire class when I say you're both very much appreciated. Also, does Josh have his own UA-cam channel?
Josh Cunnings needs to have one!!
This is great and timely. Ii have to empty the hummingbird feeder sugar water anyway, into the garden, and on hot days, every other day.
The passion un matched..... love it
U dudes are parting the green sea.
god bless you guys I love listening and learning from you.
i use citric acid and baking soda for PH control with roots soil in a 4x4 tent and pulled over 7lbs in 1 cycle of amnesia haze. The only thing i did was add micros and a single transplant the last week of veg
Be careful with the baking soda it will build up over time. I would find a better additive to replace the baking soda.
@@msblades5382 i base my ph on soil not water i think i used about 1cup on 5 plants from seed to harvest also i use ro water
Wow 7 pounds out of a 4‘ x 4‘ area, is that total wet weight including stalks?
@@mandlesevday3750 na ruff cut no major stems at this point I'd say about 12oz was excess water and about 14oz was trim but I was still 5lbs 6oz of clean top shelf indoor and 5oz of kief and the good trim was sorted used to make oil
Great content! You both make a great pair!
Honest information is refreshing... thank you!
This is so interesting, I appreciate the entertaining, informative video and love your channel! There's a Canadian cannabis Licensed Producer (LP) that grows strains of their cannabis using maple syrup from the maple tree forests in Quebec. The Green Organic Dutchman, Sugar Bush and Maple Kush. Now I understand the process haha.
I like getting my honey from an organic apiary that lets their bees get more than just like one type of flower, I do think that helps.
Powerful.
@@thinkchair96 verry
My tomato and squash are the best I've ever had. So much fruit. I bought the Boogie Brew B pack with John's discount for less than $40. It is crazy. Never used molasses or any other sugar. Just the Brew. Josh knows his shit.
The aphrodites extraction (black bottle) is the bomb! I never grow without it!! It is a bioavailable to the plant! It works amazingly!!
Dude some Legends mang.. Oh... you just made me realize that Trichoderma fungus is the way to go mang. You add all the organic stuff and you are good to go mang with trich mold. Can't wait to get my grow on and again thank you guys so much for awesome information !
You two together are way more awesome than apart. Lol You compliment each other great.
1 table spoon per gal.
Fermented Fruit Juice... I'm tempted to intercept and devoid my flowering plants.
All right some new content. awesome!!
Heyyy it was nice seeing u at my grocery store tonite 🌝💐🌝
Excited for a TD updates :)
Boggle is the most honest I've seen in a while the reason I say this is I had a product on the market I would say it's the best of the best an he told all of us the his suger product he wouldn't waste his money on it we appreciate the honesty I make all my own soil 1 part rabbit dropping 1 parts chicken dropping a bunch of other store bought product so I don't think I need any of this but top dressing
Thank u as always. I truly appreciate Josh for his passion for bringing the world the best of the best for our gardens !! Thank u Josh
afraid of success.....i felt that! blessings to your journey
At last I've found a use for the tons of extra figs I have every year. Should make a good tea. I live on an island in the Mediterranean that has poor soil, and very little of that. All the plants here could use a good tonic. Thanks.
🤣 I live in Kansas and feel your pain on the corn syrup. I work across the entire state following rural fiber cables. The farmers get a good kick out of my crazy ideas for “FARMING” lmao
Too bad they dont try some of your "crazy ideas"
@@michellebarnhill5130 They do in fact listen. They mostly laugh cause they know there is nothing they can do about it. Farm Bureau lobbies for programs like ARC and PLC to keep our farmers on agricultural welfare. We need to grow less commodities and promote innovation from the inside out.
Milton Friedman once said - “Almost every govt policy may have short term benefits, to a SMALL group, but in the long run it tends to help nobody but simply waste the money…”
great video love the info and glad to see others notice and reflect on the crazy bs markets out here
OH IM BREWING SOME BOOGIE TEA RIGHT NOW TOO :) FEEDING ALL MY PLANTS WITH IT SMALL AND LARGE
Amazing as usual! Priceless knowledge. Is there an episode about Sea 90, how and when to use it?
Go EASY on Sea90 :
While it can significantly boost microbial activity and stimulate soil life, (due to the unique "spark" on electrical frequencies from its full complex of tertiary elements), Sea90 is a SALT and will build up in containers and raised bed gardens....
