First question: I would handle the situation by remaining calm. Passengers often look to staff to determine how they should feel about a situation and remaining calm is key. I would ask the passenger what’s wrong and try to understand why they are upset. I would try to calm the passenger down by letting them know that I understand their anxiety and invite them to close their eyes and take a few deep breaths with me. After they have visibly calmed down I would ask them what their favorite song is to shift their focus from their anxiety to something that brings them joy and I would tell them to hum the song when we lift off and focus on that and everything will be ok.
The first thing I would do in an emergency situation in the air would be to contact the pilot and explain to him what is happening in the cabin, (just so that way he can start making plans to land the plane if needed) secondly I would go to the passenger and ask if they are okay, if they are not able to respond I would use what I learn in training examples like CPR, or even the defibrillator, I would ensure all the passengers that we are trained for these types of occurrences, and we know what we are doing.
Thanks your info was helpful I just got my cJo with frontier airline 🎉🎉 I’ve seen you few time I work as a gate agent for frontier at Ft. Lauderdale airport
Oh my goodness! Congratulations 🍾🎈🎉 I am so happy for you and your new journey at F9! From 💚 to 💙 this is amazing news. I am terrible with names but I’m sure if I saw you I will recognize your face. Please keep me posted on your progress. I am very interested in seeing you make it to the very end. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions.
How I would resolve a challenging situation with a coworker would be to talk to them first. I would explain to them how they are making me feel, and apologize if I am making them feel a certain way also. I would hope to try to come to an agreement during this talk and move past our situation. If however we can’t move past this situation and it keeps happening i would want to get a supervisor involved. Ask this fellow coworker if they can come talk to me with our supervisor so we can try to come to a good standing.
Great video! I wish I would have found this before my VI today! I watched so many videos with questions that were definitely not asked, and these were the ones!
Omg I hope you get it. And if you didn’t this time, at least you know were to find me and we can work on preparing you for your next interview. Sending you lots of crossed fingers and toes and hoping to hear your good news!🤞🏾
If someone started panicking on my flight due to fear of flying I would go over to them, and tell them how when I was a child growing up I had a fear of flying and now look at me, I’m a flight attendant for a living. Flying is very safe, and you know, a trick I learned to help calm my nerves was if your freaking out because of turbulence or something look at the flight attendant. 9 times out of 10 if the flight attendant isn’t worried then you shouldn’t be either. We are here to insure safety for all our passengers. So if there’s anything you may need to help ease your fears, just let me know. 😁
Oh! And probably of course make the joke like “I know I’m cute and all I don’t mind if you watch me to see if I’m worried, I may just wink 😉” Just to throw in a little joke and make the laugh some. 😊
Also, don't forget to include asking them questions to find out what the issue Is before coming up with the solution. I love your answers. Another tip you could add is to ask the passenger about their trip. Example: so why are you visiting this state? have you been here before? what made you want to vacation here? when was the last time you flew? Distracting questions. you have the right idea so far and I'm sure you would make a great FA
A time that I have had to deal with a difficult passenger would be when I worked for an airline, we had delays/ cancellations happening during the day. My passenger was trying to get back to their home, and apparently this flight of theirs has been delayed for days now. So multiple days he’s been away from home, stuck in this city. I would talk to him and explain how much I understand his frustration, I would be like that too if I was away from family longer than expected. I did everything in my power for this fellow to make it home, he was screaming, wanted to see my manager, wanted his plane to be there. At the end of this all, after letting him cool down, and me working my very hardest for him we did end up getting him to another airport to where he would make it home. He ended up thanking me at the end and apologizing for his scene he made.
Lol, the funny thing is I'm just now reading this and it all finally makes sense. I was like damn she's good with these answers! It helps that you have industry knowledge. This is the perfect answer to show your understanding and the pressure this job comes with.

Sorry for my Late Reply. I had so much going on and lots of flying but I'm Finally Catching up. Love this answer. I would include the fact that you understand how difficult it can be when put in new environments but use this opportunity to tell them about your team player skills and I love that you included your excitement for being a flight attendant.
If someone started panicking during a flight I would try to ease their fears and tell them that the pilots, flight attendants, and all the crew go through very extensive training and just talk them through it trying to ease their mind
That’s great. You will want to distract them as well, asking them about their trip and if there’s anything you can get for them. Do you have an interview coming up? Also sorry for my late reply I’ve been busy with flying and school
Do you think its possible to apply for a flight attendant job in the USA if you are in the Caribbean? Do you know if they would assist with getting you the position? love the video💕
Hey Tyesha, most airlines requires you to have a legal work permit in the USA before sitting the interview. Are you asking about getting a sponsorship from the airline to work in the US?
Not exactly. However, we sit in a jumpseat that can be really small depending on the size of the aircraft. You just have to be able to fit in it and buckle up for your safety. We have more flight attendants of size that fit in it just fine. I’m sure you’ll be fine. 🥰
Congratulations on making it this far in the process. Yes, I usually read and respond when I’m not busy flying. I should be free tomorrow Tuesday to work on Q&A if you like. Check the comments on this video if you haven’t already to see Examples ua-cam.com/video/YT8rpbTMAoM/v-deo.html

I was wondering how would you answer these two flight attendant interview questions 1.If there has been a change of how things are done in the workplace how would you tell a coworker 2.Tell us about a time where a coworker came to you talking about a problem they had with somebody else and how did you advise them to deal with that situation
Hope this answer is not too late as I have been super busy with flying & family. 1. I would ask my coworker if they’ve heard of the new change (now I will be asking simply because I do not want to come off as bossy) if their answer is no, I would simply tell them about the change and if any new training is needed so they are up to date with current company procedure. #2 I usually ask them to breathe and slow down if they seem stressed or upset. I listen attentively to them and ask questions based on their relationship with said coworker. If they are close friends, I remind them of the importance of a healthy work environment, how to put peace/ love before hurt feelings, only then will they start to heal. I ask them to speak with the individual with the goal of reaching a resolution and not just to make a point or tell them off! Works every time lol.
