Hey nan great video! Very useful and clear. Just had a quick question. So the vacuum reading from the manifold through the T hose, reads 20 inHG, however, when i plug the T hose back to the solenoid, and connect the vacuum tester to it (from the outlet that goes to the WG actuator) i get 18 inHG. Basically looks like the solenoid is giving me 2 inHG less which is causing my WG to open prematurely. Nevertheless, it does not let vacuum escape, it holds the vacuum. However, a friend of mine with the same car, gets 20 inHG at any point, either at the T hose, or from the solenoid or from the hose that goes to the wg actuator. Does that mean my solenoid is bad and i have to replace it?
HI DOIT_VEHICLES, I have a question. my w176 a180.. suddenly lost the power sometimes... when i drive, i had to stop by the road side and switch off the engine, n turn on again and continue driving, and sometimes when i'm already switch off my engine and continue my driving, the lose power did again. can you show me what's the problem is? thank you from malaysia..
I have sprinter got the same problem , ordered new solenoid but up on me testing even the brand new one doesn't seem to hold vacuum I didn't have that hand vaccuam testing kit but when I suck the vacuum line in solenoid it doesn't seem to hold any vacuum do you have to block the out line in solenoid while do the test ?

I have a 2008 M271 C200 compressor Wagon. It losses power on acceleration when am driving . I changed the waste gate selenoid but nothing changed . then i tried to check the voltage intake on the selenoid . I got 3.9 volt coming to the sensor . Please advise if that voltage is enough to turn it on or something is wrong
If I have a p0451 code for 2009 a180 cdi with loss of power to my turbo intermittently what could it be? I replaced the exhaust back pressure sensor and nothing changed. Could this problem be a purge valve since the code is for evap range/performance?
Hi mate. I have a Mercedes a class w176 se and the car doesn’t seem to have boost like it use to. Also, I’m getting a slight rattle from the engine. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
Hi my wastegate it’s slightly open on idle and when I drive and press pedal less than half full throttle I hear like a noise of some type of pressure pitch. Apparently it’s a new one that’s been upgraded with internals for more it to handle more boost since I’m stage 2 tuned.
thanks for the video I have a trouble code P0299 and i found out that the hose that is going from the actuator to the solenoid was eaten by a squirrel . any chance to help me find the part number for that hose , its a 2015 GLA250 thank you.
I have problem code P052E71 It says the crankcase ventilation valve is failed The actuator is blocked I have some oil I air intake way and my car has not normal power. I have a250 2013
My 2011 S63 Mercedes actuator rod is moving back and forth back and forth back and forth I took the little Airline off of the turbo actuator and put my finger on it and it is not a steady custom pool of suction it is on off suction like sucking not sucking , sucking not sucking this is the passenger side turbo actuator the driver side Rod does not move back and forth I would assume it is engaged in the right direction it needs to be but both lines are hooked up to the same actuator solenoid why is one moving back and forth and the other one isn't
@@BrandonLocs yes I found out what it was there are air hoses that attach to the back of each actuator on the left and right side of the turbos there air hoes was pinched and it didn't allow pressure to go to the actuator follow the air hose and see if it's cracked or disconnected and that will fix your problem
Hello , i have 2013 a200 w176 and same power loss problem. When i drive upper 90 100 kmh, the car do limp mode itself after 10 minutes drive. During City trafic like lower 70 60 kmh, no problem. And after limp mode i am stopping my car and start again, problem is gone and my car return to normal drive. So , we change , wastegate actuator, westgate selenoid, egr valve selenoid, even checked exhaust system and nothing changed, btw problem is p0299(21) low boost. Please help me

If the engine is idling it should be vaccum , if not check for restrictions
